I couldn't crack Jee. I prepared for boards only. But, I don't want to take drop. I just have 4-5 months in hand to prepare for 1st attempt of Mains. And I am bored out studying Pcm. reasons of taking drop/ mistakes 1. never genuinely knew about IIT 2. too much social life (spending time with friends) 3. extended family coming home every month caused disturbances 4. not disciplined 5. did not study many chapters just bcz they looked scary 6. not solving pyqs and questions after every chapter 7. spent most of the time on maths in last month 8. extreme daydreaming 9. adulthood content 1 month before mains 10. wrong friend 11. not studying in structured manner only in the last 3-4 months i started working hard, studying 8-9 hours per day, cutoff all my friends and family, gave a chance to the chapters that i was scared of. Increased my maths performance in 10 days from 66% to 91% so i feel i have the potential to improve much more. ab toh kuch bhi karungi aur IIT he jaaungi

If you are taking a drop or willing to take, please READ THIS COMMENT. I was so interested to prepare for JEE during my 11th. But, I never knew about the caste system and reservation in these exams. After coming to 12th, I came to know about the caste system. I scored only 92 percentile in my third session and as usual waiting for my 4th session result. JEE was being conducted since decades. And just think of the number of people whose lives got wasted because of reservation. I fortunately appeared for TS EAMCET 2021 and secured 4299 rank (out of 150,000+ people). I would be going for that and gonna join the colleges with that. If IIT is your dream, you can take a drop if you haven't succeeded. Because you have to live your life in your own way. But, as mentioned, you cannot get into IIT with drop. I just lost hopes on JEE because of reservation. I have given my BITSAT too. My score was terrible anyway. (226/450). The best thing about BITS is "no caste system" or "no reservation" Anyway I am trying for JEE Advanced All the best to all the JEE aspirants and other exam aspirants!! I always noticed one thing. Not every CEO is from IIT or top tier colleges. And... thank you sir for such an interactive session. Edit: I finally ended up getting into BITS Pilani Hyderabad!

Hello sir , I'm currently in 12 standard . My reason to take drop is because I have already planned to focus on cbse boards , learning only the basics this year and to prepare for jee in my drop year . Another reason is that although I have very clear concept of class 12 but still my class 11 concepts are weak so I would focus more on them in my drop year . Usually I get distracted alot and you and your videos are a gem to watch . I could relate with most of the points and mistakes you pointed out in the video which children do ( like I get distracted alot , play games and social media for 3-4 hrs a day etc...) And I would definitely try to control myself from doing these mistakes from today itself. Next week my preboard exams are starting and I know that not well prepared for them but I will try to do my best . Your harsh words are like icing on the cake and always feel like I'm been told / scolded by someone who wants my own good ( like bade bhai and all) I know ki comment zada bada ho gya but I really wanted to thank you for all ur effort in making these type of videos . I would say , if you're getting a tier-1 college then , taking a drop is stupid. But if you're getting a tier-2 and so on College and you think your potential is more than what you have got, then go for a drop. Give yourself one more chance, and a serious chance. Take a full drop.
I don't think so. I think you are left with two jee mains attempts and one advanced attempt. It's because the number of drops doesn't depend on how many attempts you gave but it depends on which year you passed your 12. Let's say you have passed 12th in 2021, so you have only three jee mains attempt 2021(which is all ready over), 2022 and 2023, and for jee adv. you have only 2021 and 2022 attempt. So regardless of your number of attempts you can't give jee mains 2024 or hee adv. 2023.. I think you are clear about this..
12:16 we were given 4 attempts..... But this time competition increased due to droppers and toppers...... At 100 marks you able to score nearly 92 percentile we were given 89 percentile at 160 marks previously students got 98 %ile but now at 160 we got 94-95 percentile so its not about attempts every new attempt cutoff is increasing

today each and every word of anup sir just hit very hard the points were very bitter for me but i realized that it is the truth and now i am going to drop a year for jee 2023 and will definitely update you guys what will be my result.

I was so interested to prepare for JEE during my 11th. But, I never knew about the caste system and reservation in these exams. After coming to 12th, I came to know about the caste system.
I scored only 92 percentile in my third session and as usual waiting for my 4th session result.
JEE was being conducted since decades. And just think of the number of people whose lives got wasted because of reservation.
I fortunately appeared for TS EAMCET 2021 and secured 4299 rank (out of 150,000+ people). I would be going for that and gonna join the colleges with that.
If IIT is your dream, you can take a drop if you haven't succeeded. Because you have to live your life in your own way. But, as mentioned, you cannot get into IIT with drop.
I just lost hopes on JEE because of reservation.
I have given my BITSAT too. My score was terrible anyway. (226/450).
The best thing about BITS is "no caste system" or "no reservation"
Anyway I am trying for JEE Advanced

I've to write TS IPE exams in the month of April 23rd - May 5th. And This year, 1st attempt is from Apr 16th-20th. And within 3 days, my IPE exams are gonna start! I'm very much confused on JEE Mains & EAMCET also. Coz I didn't go to the college even a single day as my parents didn't send me. So I'm not at all confident on myself. Whether I can crack JEE and even EAMCET also! Or shall I take long-term... I'm not understanding anything. Plz suggest me something
@@srivalli4238 Yes, I am from Telangana. I have actually left my EAMCET college Gokaraju Rangaraju for BITS Pilani Hyderabad. I finally landed in BITS Pilani. Also, I would suggest you to take long term coz you're telling me that you haven't studied anything. No second choice. Just study your 12th again and appear for boards next year. Don't waste your time and believe in yourself! All the best!

@@srivalli4238 hi bro I am from Telangana narayana as we know ipe is too easy only few questions to study . only 15 days enough imp questions . 430,+ marks easily . u can take drop of 1 year for jee . by chanse u didn't get good marks in jee 100/ u can get good marks in EAMCET . vasavi, cbit , or if mains nit and advance u can do it iiit

Hello sir , I'm currently in 12 standard .
My reason to take drop is because I have already planned to focus on cbse boards , learning only the basics this year and to prepare for jee in my drop year . Another reason is that although I have very clear concept of class 12 but still my class 11 concepts are weak so I would focus more on them in my drop year .
Usually I get distracted alot and you and your videos are a gem to watch . I could relate with most of the points and mistakes you pointed out in the video which children do ( like I get distracted alot , play games and social media for 3-4 hrs a day etc...) And I would definitely try to control myself from doing these mistakes from today itself.
Next week my preboard exams are starting and I know that not well prepared for them but I will try to do my best .
Your harsh words are like icing on the cake and always feel like I'm been told / scolded by someone who wants my own good ( like bade bhai and all)

Bhai isse achha hai 12vi mei mehnat krlo..12vi ka toh weightage zyada hota utna hi krlo shi hojaega ... and dheere dheere 11th mei asaan topics pe focus kro...drop ka abhi toh bhai mat hi socho ...abhi 12th mei drop ka mat socho yeh jee ke 2nd attempt mei sochna ...hoajega agar mehnat krli toh ...I was at ur place around this time ..but thoda bhut meine bhi kia...drop ka sochke tum mehnat kroge hi nhi as u will feel ki usssmay krunga ...its like procrastination...and agar abhi se krli padhai ..kya pata bits mei hi hoaje ...I also got bits ...isislie I am telling dont give up without putting up a fight... drop lelena lekin ek baar fight marne ke baad..hope my outlook helped

I would say , if you're getting a tier-1 college then , taking a drop is stupid. But if you're getting a tier-2 and so on College and you think your potential is more than what you have got, then go for a drop. Give yourself one more chance, and a serious chance. Take a full drop.

I don't think so. I think you are left with two jee mains attempts and one advanced attempt. It's because the number of drops doesn't depend on how many attempts you gave but it depends on which year you passed your 12.
Let's say you have passed 12th in 2021, so you have only three jee mains attempt 2021(which is all ready over), 2022 and 2023, and for jee adv. you have only 2021 and 2022 attempt. So regardless of your number of attempts you can't give jee mains 2024 or hee adv. 2023..

At 100 marks you able to score nearly 92 percentile we were given 89 percentile at 160 marks previously students got 98 %ile but now at 160 we got 94-95 percentile so its not about attempts every new attempt cutoff is increasing
