as a successful dropper here are a few point - 68%ile(2022) ----> 98%ile(2023 Jan) 1. follow your Batch/coaching whole heartedly 2. make short notes not formula sheet short notes that in depth and would be understandable if revised after long time 3. After date is announced Don't go after syllabus completion Do Top 15 chapters of each subject with last 3-4 years pyq 4. don't be demotivated if initially aren't able to score in coaching test (but try to improve with each test) 5. your job is to complete notes , short notes , Modules . 6. parents support is very important. (warn you in advance emotionally its going to be a roller coaster ride) 7. last 2 months are very important doesn't matter if you studied only 60% of your calibre if you give 110& in last 2 you'll be good 8. preference subjects - physics > Chemistry >Maths Don't give maths too much time 9. dont take time based target , Take work based targets 10. Bas padho - Padho Aur kuch kaam nhi ẩane wala. ps: I took online drop (pw) I saw Anup sir"s video on same topic while deciding to Drop
I am an average student 11 full wasted in 12 upto board level expecting 70 percentile in April attempt i am general should i join college or i should take a drop plz guide me
My mistakes that i did 1. Took dummy school and my laziness screwed me up 2. Didnt attend all lectures because i thought bahut time hai ho jayrga 3. Didnt give any test literally 0 because i always knew subconsciously it will show me the mirror 4. Always thought my friends are enjoying and i am doing utter shit 5. Watched a hell lot of online content ( web series , youtube , tv series , adult content ) 6. Never took jee seriously and know that i could have done better 7. Never completing daily tarkets 8 . No physical exercise 9 . Looking for new strategies everymonth which was totally useless 10. Had scored good percentage in 10 th and that topper wali feel and overconfidence ruined everything
So I'm not gonna take a drop. I'm unable to change myself. I'm just so tired of losing again and again. Even after my jee is ever. I didn't regret that I fkd up my jee. Rather I took a little break and started watching Naruto (anime) always wanted to watch and now I'm hooked. Like I'm just so stupid. Daily screen time 10+hrs
1 - Always spent more time making a perfect plan and end up not even following half of it ( I always try to study for 15 hours a day but I end up not even studying for 6 hours) - planning >> execution 2 - Wasted the majority of my time watching adult content and random videos on Jee, college, and strategy related videos. In turn regretted in the end of the day for wasting time and the loop continued. 3 - I was not honest to myself and my parents who had immense faith in me 4 - I was overconfident with my preparation did not even pay attention to my school classes. 5 - I did not make a good circle of friends and often did not say NO to them when they called me for any enjoyment ( Wasting my time) 6 - I spent overtime on watching lectures so slowly and making notes by copying the lecture pdf 7 - I spent less time on problem-solving ( Especially maths). 8 - I never gave importance to mock tests. 9 - I never took care of my health due to which I had a fever 4 - 5 times (No fixed diet and workout) 10 - When there always came a choice between facing the pain or staying in the comfort zone where I chose comfort zone and did not push myself. 11 - I often gave excuses to myself and did not accept things that went wrong. 12 - I wasted time in overthinking and comparing myself with others than focusing on myself. 13 - I was too much dependent on external motivation than my very own self belief or discipline. This is my personal and my strong practical decision to take a drop and get into a top institution by any means. I will keep up my words and end up on the same comments with success
Ohhh GOD!!! I've done EXACTLY these SAME MISTAKES!!! in my 1st attempt of JEE!! But, now i'm gonna take a drop!! Btw r u also a dropper?? btw, this is REALLY an UNDERRATED COMMENT!! i wish i could like this comment 100s pf times
Last year I saw the same video by Anup Sir , and started my drop year journey few days later . This year I have scored 99+ percentile in JEE mains already and looking forward for the future . Drop year can be a risk , but it can turn out to be life-changing too .
1-wasn't dedicated 2-had over confidence 3-skipped meals 4-bad sleeping schedule 5-had no control over my anger 6-was very emotional 7-took everything to heart 8-distracted by social media 9-chatted for hours together where I must have practiced 10-had no physical exercise
As a successful dropper, I would give one single advice "Stop analysing, stop searching for smart work, stop searching for less time more output. Give your best today, your best today might not meet your expectations, that's completely fine. As you give your best today today today today, that one day will come when you will finnaly feel good enough. You would be surprised where you end up as. Prev year 74 percentile, this year first attempt with incomplete syllabus 97.7 percentile. Hoping for 99 in second attempt.
to all droppers who'll target 24 I suggest you to write diary daily one page with everything you felt as if talking to a friend whom you share everything, it'll be memory when you read all of this after your exams just a suggestion
Got 89.5% in jee 2022 and 98.5% in jee Jan attempt. It could have reached 99+ if I had not left JEE mains specific topics. I would consider myself an average student. There were times I ended up watching vlogs for straight 2-3 hours and eventually wasting the whole day, but was able to complete the syllabus. You can easily improve. Yeah 80% to 95+ requires immense hard work but I'd suggest 89+ %tilers to consider drop as an option if they are willing to work smart. Just watch the lectures and solve PYQs. This should be your priority along with mocks. Don't join an offline coaching IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 5 MONTHS. I have classmates who joined Allen, Fiitjee in Kota with no end result at all. They couldn't get time for self study. This is just my suggestion. You can do whatever suits you. :)
Didi kya aap prayas batch se hai? Kuch bata do ki prayas batch mei asliyat mei advanced level touch kiya jaata hai ya nhi .. And I think you are from the telugu states right?
I also scored 89.41%ile in jan attempt by self study. I'll be taking a drop and and study online. Thanks for sharing your experience ! And you are not average, 98.5%ile is a very good score. All the best for Adv exam👍
Keep in mind that loneliness can be a big problem in drop year if you're studying online. Mere saath problem nhi hui because I'm not really social and can enjoy my own company. Plus I wanted people with similar goals in life. School friends ne sabne private college join krliye. I didn't bother to keep in touch with them. Sabke saath itna easy nhi hota. So you should be mentally prepared.
@@r65400 YES DI IM ALREADY SUFFERING FROM IT..BCOS IM A FULL TIME ONLINE STUDENT THIS (IM CLASS 12TH STUDENT) AND SCORED 85%ILE IN JAN AND EXPECTING 90 IN THIS ATTEMPT..DO YOU REALLY SUGGEST ME TO BE IN HOME FOR ONE MORE YEAR???
Bhai log, mera 87-90 percentile approx in april attempt and ews category Should I go for drop Or advance Please help!! I am very irritated and confused

1- not doing proper revision 2- not attempting tests 3-health issues (nearly 1 month) 4- tcrs left without completeing class 11 syllabus 5-watching too much lectures and not practicin question 6-solved with the help of solutions 7- school pressure they were not allowing to be absent (same from parents) 8-was way too active in school (extra curricular activities) 9- created backlog and never was able to complete it 10- researching way too much about college 11- thinking nta will not conduct in January 12- friendship nibhana

Sir is absolutely right. Taking a drop is a big decision and this decision should be yours. If you think you have potential to improve then only take a drop. As a dropper I was able to improve my result from 95.6{JEE Mains 2021) to 99.2(JEE Mains 2022). Some people think that by only studying in their drop year, they can improve their result but that is not the case. Drop year also takes a heavy toll on your mental state if you don't have a proper strategy. So only take drop if you believe in yourself and you know what mistakes you did.
Bhai log, mera 87-90 percentile approx in april attempt and ews category Should I go for drop Or advance Please help!! I am very irritated and confused
Mistakes 1 Enrolled in an online coaching but didnt studied 2 Not given enough test 3 Running away from reality 4 UA-cam and other social media platform excessive usage 5 Didnt even took boards seriously 6 procastination 7 overconfident after watching lecture but didnt solve pyq or module 8 Searching for motivation on youtube which only result for few hours 9 given fake hope to my parents( They are the best parents in the world) feeling guilty because of that 10 always thought there is enough time ( hopium, copium)
My Mistakes 1) Not consistent 2) Only thought of plans and never executed 3)Movies,TV, series 4) Watched recorded lectures instead of live lectures 5) Overconfidence 6) Procastination 7) Didn't complete full syllabus(not even half) 8) Didn't give mock tests 9) Mobile phone 10) Studying from one shots when jee mains dates were announced 11) Lack of regular revision 12) Running away from challenges 13) Not controlling myself and my time 14) Never ever introspected not retrospected
I got 89 percentile.the mistakes I make was 1-Didn't watched any lecture so didn't know anything 2- didn't studied cause I was attending regular school and I was trying to enjoy school life 3-didnt studied inorganic and organic chemistry 4 didn't studied thermodynamics mechanical properties waves and shm modern physics 5 studied only mathematical reasoning in maths and solved only 3 questions in maths 6 watched too much anime and wasted my 70-80 percentage of free time this was biggest mistake 7 I just sleep after studying for 10 minutes thinking that after sleeping my productivity would be better but after I wake I just watch anime and waste my time
1. Totally away from social media, even deleted Whatsapp and now UA-cam. 2. Just focusing on my own teachers 3. No motivation needed, roj 12 ghante padhega to ethic bn jata hai 4. Totally away from friends 5. Only live classes 6. No backlog 7. Regular testing 8. Routine

Bhai tu deshbhakt dekhta tha 😂 Watch some unbiased channels bruv. Are chal abhi drop year hai to padh le, main bhi padhne chala. Abhi politics me nahi padenge hum log.
1] didn't practice enough questions 2] I was almost not studying for 3-4 months during the most crucial time 3] Had Mobile Addiction 4] Syllabus was not covered even 80% for 1 time 5] Didn't Give Mock seriously 6] Not a good peer group 7] No Physical Activities and really bad schedule
I have concluded that i won't be taking a drop year, at the end of the day for me a college TAG doesn't really matter , I might not have the very best start to my career but I'll eventually work up the career ladder. At the end of the day NIRF 1 college or NIRF 50 it depends on the individual's capabilities and how he/she utilises the resources they have This 2 years of JEE journey has definitely taught me so many things (not just academically) which I'll keep in my mind for my future aspirations and continue learning.
6 months back i saw the same video for dropping for jee 2023 and yeah this is one of the best decisions of my life( july percentile-80.5)--> (jan percentile 97.8) and yeah adv or bits dono abhi phodne hai. thanks you sir(i am literally crying right now.)

@@Rebel64044 if u think ur bold enough and wont stop despite getting getting failed n number of times then go for it its worthy if u succeed all th best
mistake: 1. chemistry par bilku dhyan ni diya 2. ek hi subject maths ko leke betha rha 3. theory nahi padi 4. irrelevant questions lagaye 5. pyq lagane ki akkal baad me ayi 6. school gaya, test ni de paya 7. timepass kara, games khele 8. revision nahi kara 9. notes banaye thode revise ni kara, short notes nahi banaye 10. social media par laga rha jyada der
1. Games 2. Teacher accha nahi hai bolkar subject ignore krna 3. Planning but no implementation 4. Ladki ka chakkar 5. Extracurricular goals 6. Creating a backlog that never ended 7. Only theory, no solving 8. Thinking JEE mains Jan main nahi hogi 9. Entertaining others, including parents 10. Chilling out during serious times 11. Sympathising myself for depression 12. Impractical goals My main target during drop year IS getting disciplined.
Only thing that can improve a person in drop year is his focus. One should focus on mains first so that you have something in your hand till jan and gradually move to advanced. It's about being a good engineer not just about being an iitian. Move step by step. At the end before deciding to drop decide what if its not successful. Selection rate is less. It's nothing to be about getting demotivated. Be real. It's a path of problems which will lead to success. And if you want to check your growth, then after some months you don't need such videos for your improvement. You will have clear idea of yourself. Drop can be a great time to isolate yourself and learn who you are what you have within you, even if you fail. Mostly will fail, even then you will learn a lot. If you are actually in charge of this you won't say i demotivated you. In fact it is motivation to step out of the league. And don't be depressing and negative in order to look real. You will start devaluing yourself. Which is worse a soul could do. Try your best. And wisdom is you have just controllables in your hand not the outcome. I
I am an average student 11 full wasted in 12 upto board level expecting 70 percentile in April attempt i am general should i join college or i should take a drop plz guide me
In this drop year I would 1. take good care of health 2. I should listen to my teachers 3. Complete backlogs as soon as possible 4. Attend to every exam and class 5. Analyse and go through mistakes in tests 6. Make only good friends 7. Don't get demotivated seeing the results 8. Revise regularly 9. maintain consistency 10. 7 hours of sleep
MISTAKES THAT COST ME MY DREAM 1) too much enthusiasm in the beginning then eventually stop going coaching 2)getting bothered by useless people 3)searching and preparing strategy instead of following any of them 4)not giving mock tests thinking I am not fully prepared 5)working in inertia if studying then keep doing it the whole day if wasted a single hour then not even touching books that day 6)not exactly understanding the worth of my education 7)depending on luck instead of challenging the challenges 8) giving up in last few days before exam 9)not being thorough with my revision 10)not doing syllabus instead consuming content to keep myself away from reality 11)demotivated by coaching results 12)day dreaming all day and not putting efforts for the aim 13)behaving like a kid and not understanding his own self worth 14)being on extremes of my emotional state 15)working according to mood , mood is highly unpredictable 16)initially being so overconfident that started skipping basics
Last year watched your video on dropping a year . This year got 97.91%ile (jan attempt) from 72%ile last year only by self study and making short notes of important chapters and revising them .
@@izlamastfgil5309 not join any batch , done self study from my own notes that I made during 11th and 12th & give some mock tests and practices PYQ's & if had any query in some concept I watched it's video from u tube .
1.Gaming 2.too much planning ending up doing nothing 3.had scored well in tests got too confident and stopped studying 3.talking about colleges too much forming a fake visual which made me think i deserve them easily 4.Barely giving tests as after each test i got too much confident 5.Easily got demotivated by others 6.Ran after numerous teachers/coachings .now i realise if i followed pw/mathongo.other but any one i would have been in a better place 7.my parents never forced me to ge iit/nit.i never felt the urge to prove myself 8.Not consistent 9.Online studying which didnt motivate me for long...there are not good offline ones but could have given tests offline at least 10.Bad teachers wasting my 11th...and some 12th i did organic from more than 3 to 4 teachers before finding the right one who taught by logic and not just ratta.(Rohit aggarwal Sir). 11.Studied only favourite subject for half of 12th thinking that i covered syllabus but my chem and maths were a complete 0 ALlthough these are my problems no teachers are to be blamed if i was serious this would never have happend.my reason to take drop is to try to get iit.i dont know my potential and i want to try it out else my entire life i will have the pain of 'REGRET' SOLUTIONS 1.LAPTOP FATHER KE PAS HOGA ALONG WITH PHONE. 2.PADHAI FROM LAPTOP UNKE SAMNE BATH KAR KARUNGA(UNKNOWN THEORY WRITING IN PREVIOUS/NEW COPY etc.)
Tomorrow is my second jee attempt (I scored 89.6% in first) and I will go in with all I have but I am realistic enough to know that my prep isn't enough and I am not going to be satisfied with the result. I had already finalized my decision for drop because I know I have the potential which I myself didn't use. So here are the mistakes I made in the last two years. 1. Studying fav topics 2. only theory 3. Less Revision 4. Solving with external help 5. not enough mocks 6. Procrastination/Daydreaming 7. Fomo and multiple sources 8. Addictions: - Games, comics, fanfics, books, even explicit content 9. Running from challenges 10. Demotivation Not gonna end this with a motivational speech of mein yeh krlunga woh krlunga. I am gonna do that after I find Success.
Dear Anup sir last year i watched your video on the same to take drop or not i was very vulnerable and emotional at the time because all my friend got very good percentile one of my friend got in iit -D but i got 68%ile only. i took your advice and my parents supported , gave myself a chance and prepared from august 2022 form online batch (pw) and got 98%ile in jan mains . Thankyou Sir.

1. Not appearing for tests 2. Watching too many UA-cam videos, and not practicing enough 3. Focusing only on favourable topics ( my maths got destroyed) 4. No proper revision 5. Daydreaming 6. Solving with the help of solved answers 7. Running from conceptual questions 8. Getting distracted from social media. 9. Watching videos at 2x speed, no clear concept 10. No serious time table
SIR I SCORED ONLY 92%ile -Spend too much time in Live Sessions -Didn't attempt enough questions -Didn't take Lectures seriously -Lack of Revision -Did not practice enough mocks -Procrastination -Day Dreaming -Created backlog and never was able to complete it -Not Expecting Exam in Jan -18+ Content -Spend too much time in playing games -Thinking about my Rank and Collage all the Time -Showing Off -Not even solving DPP's only watching Lectures -Wasted Time on UA-cam, Instagram, Snapchat. -Looking for One Shots -Always in search of External Motivation ( Motivational Videos) - 27:30
1.Proper planning. 2.Following plan. 3.Consistent. 4.More and more practice. 5. Revision. 6.Mock test. 7.Analysing it. 8.Along studies other activities that will help me to be calm. 9.Overthinking 10. Mainly remember this and follow
Maine concept padhe ahi practice chaiye offline vidyepeeth lelo? Father khe rahe hai offline mai online kyoki merko practice karni hai sirf but distraction bhi hota hai Ghar pe bahut 2-3 din thik hoga bad mai loop wahi ban jayega

1. Not solving any problems of JEE 2. I haven't even studied upto JEE level 3. I have not given mock test more than 3 times 4. No proper strategy 5. I have not given my everything to it 6. Watchin Anime These were the reasons I got 17%ile Now Iam taking drop and aiming for 99%ile (Full time drop)
I got 55 percentile in jan attempt and mera paper tha 6th april ko usme maine krke aya lekin 55 percentile se bhi kam ayenga so mai bhi drop leneka sochra All the best dude🤝

My mistakes 1. Overconfidence- i am topper in my 10th class so i thought jee is easy for me , i thought i can complete jee in last minute 2. Day dreaming - as i am overconfident i used to day dream as i got good rank and went to my dream college and enjoying 3.waiting for motivation- i know if i study i will get good marks but i am waiting for motivation to start 4. Watching random videos on youtube and webseries , movies 5. Pretending to study infront of my parents - i am not studying in reality 6. Not practicing - only studying theory 7. Not listening to class - thinking that teachers are not good and not enough for teaching jee 8.overthinking - the biggest mistake of me , wasting alot of time in overthinking everything 9. Thinking that jee is easy but inreality it is not that easy i realized this while giving exam 10. I didn't gave my best , i didn't wake up early or stay late night to study but rather to watch instagram I REALIZED THE MISTAKES I AM NOT GONNA REPEAT THESE MISTAKES I AM READY FOR DROP I WILL COME BACK HERE AFTER MY SUCCESS IN MY JEE
17:00 not studying playing games watching lot of videos not focused in anything daydreaming learning other skills and saying i am hard worker and a learner friends time waste not a proper schedule not giving mocks and test not practing questions not doing proper revision
I have scored 89.62 percentile in jee mains 2023 but was not able to qualify for advance, as my target was always jee advance 1) wasting my time thinking ill do this or that 2) not giving importance to mock tests 3) over confidence was the biggest mistake i had made 4)having a lot of distractions that i made myself in tht stage I strongly believe that anup gupta sirs words touched my heart, opened my thinking to think broad, I think i definitely will improve my result in the 2024 From 89 to 98/99 illl do it......
Last year i was also listen this type of videos and I took a drop now i got 97.7 in jan attempt.i understood one thing , if you think that i was done some mistakes during preparation because of that reasons i was not able to score good marks ..and if you able to correct those mistakes then only take a drop.. I think self study is more better if you are a self movitating person.if you are taking drop then don't do random study i will recommend sakshi mam(chemistry),eduniti(physics),Nishant sir (maths)
Mere 70% ile ayi kya coaching kij karo pe vidyapeeth ? Bro meri bhi same prblem thi lagbag mene 12th ki start march me resolution liya Puri saal adult content nhi dekhunga everything was smooth until September came and i decide one day to watch it and wasted 6 days then recovered from it worked hard but again after 1 month same loop going for 5-6 days then recovering from it and at last the resolution that i made i will crack jee and not masturbate whole year etc etc gts failed as i masturbated 8 times between September to aprill and that was the period in which i need to be focused more to crack jee but fucked up everything the period of april-august i was covering syylabus very fast but vo bilkul kaam nhi sya kyuki maine peak period barbaad kiya Boards me bhi maine chem khrb kr dia😢(I studied from lakshya batch PW)
For those who are thinking to take drop as a senior some tips i want to give you If you can afford please don't go for online coaching at starting u will feel like yh time bachta h etc etc but at end tunhara syllabus hi complete nhi hoga Don't ever think abhi baut time h time kb khtm ho jayega pata bhi nhi chalega 🙂 Koi bhi book solve Karo at end pyq pe hi aana so will suggest starting se hi pyqs kro You will think like didi ne padhai nhi ki hogi issliyr didi ka nhi hua koi nhi m bhi phle aisa hi sochti thi but at end realise hogya so ache se padho by this mistakes i messed my 1st session 2nd acha gya let's see result ky hota h wish me good luck :)
Mistakes:- 1. Procastination 2. Didn't get good teacher because i live in very small district where quality teachers are not available 3. Didn't try to solve the question myself always reading that particular questions solution 4. More focus on theory rather than question solving 5. School pressure 6. Didn't wake up early in the morning 7. Watching yt shorts more than 3 to 4 hours everyday 8. Always distracted towards cricket 9. I didn't covered my whole syllabus only covered 20% syllabus because i started preparing after 12th board exams 10. Playing with friends whenever they calls me 11. Watching adults things 12. Mistakes: 1. Was too much invested in being a therapist for my friends (would still love to do it but gotta stop spending too much time on them) 2. Lack of proper in depth revision 3. Never studied as someone who is eager to know, instead, studied like a rat 4. Never attemped mocks💀 5. Daydreaming 6. PROCRASTINATION 💀✅ 7. Thank you sir for giving a true path for this drop year. In this video some of your points slapped me so hard and some of points made me feel that I have to go through this path and I can’t repeat my mistakes anymore… Sir I promise you I will not repeat any mistake that I did in past two years and I will not follow any influencer and their guidance except you and my subject teachers. Sir I decided to take live classes in library and will be back home with only homework in offline format because here in Kanpur offline coachings are 20km away from my home and it will take my 2 hrs daily in travelling… You can’t imagine how much reality your word shows me. You says teacher contributes only 10% but With my determination, commitment and hardwork I will be in IIT next year and the I will rather say that I contributed 10% in this journey but rest 90% percent role is of you,my parents and my subject teacher. Sir now I have no time to write this comment full of guilt, emotion and determination to any one else for next one year.I will not waste any time on this bullshit called social medias and yt,etc Love you so much sir love you infinite you are my superhero ❤😭

This Year got 96 percentile.....and pretty confident to cross 99 percentile because this year i didnt foccused on how should i attempt mains exam and did many silly mistakes... I attempted of 184 and due to this just got 120
Mistakes 1 less questions practice 2 ignored maths 3 lack of revision of completed chapter 4 no test analysis 5 distractions daily 3-4 hrs 6 time waste in school exams 7 not studying consistently 8 gf 9 not following proper plan 10 no guidance from starting as a online batch student
I wasted my 1st drop year Just because of my laziness, lack of guidance, not consistent, procrastination, blaming someone else for my mistakes, overconfidence, the great one attitude (ego), not serious about time, Not giving mocks Following many things at the same time Not trusting one teacher And took online coaching But in my drop year i learned so many things And going for second drop with full of confidence because I see myself improving i have my cleared vision this time going to join offline coaching .... Sir my mistakes are: 1. I didn't study physics and chemistry in class 11th. 2. I didn't study organic chemistry of 12th 3. I was addicted to watch movies, series etc. 4. I always procrastinated to study chemistry because I didn't like it. Maine to ye hi galtiyaan ki hain bas. Aur to concentration ko improve kiya tha maine 12th mein. Reasons bhi bata deta hoon main drop kyun lena chahta hoon: 1. Mujhe sirf IIT bombay hi chahiye. Mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye. Yahi mera goal hai abhi. 2. Maine 12th mein bhi hard work kiya hai par result nahi mila. Main bas apne aap ko aur samajhna chahta hoon. Aur jyada apni galtiyon ko dhoondhkar improve karna chahta hoon. Bas. Abhi to maine koi coaching join nahi ki hai. Jab mains ka result aa jayega tab karunga. Tab tak main pw ke lectures dekh kar notes bana raha hoon chemistry ke. Organic poori samajh raha hoon.
One suggestion IITB chahiye is gr8 But plz mains key prep mey compromise matt kar lena First ensure a safe college by mains 1st attempt alongside advance prep Uskey baad u can dive in passionately into advance mode

as a successful dropper here are a few point -
68%ile(2022) ----> 98%ile(2023 Jan)
1. follow your Batch/coaching whole heartedly
2. make short notes not formula sheet short notes that in depth and would be understandable if revised after long time
3. After date is announced Don't go after syllabus completion Do Top 15 chapters of each subject with last 3-4 years pyq
4. don't be demotivated if initially aren't able to score in coaching test (but try to improve with each test)
5. your job is to complete notes , short notes , Modules .
6. parents support is very important. (warn you in advance emotionally its going to be a roller coaster ride)
7. last 2 months are very important doesn't matter if you studied only 60% of your calibre if you give 110& in last 2 you'll be good
8. preference subjects - physics > Chemistry >Maths Don't give maths too much time
9. dont take time based target , Take work based targets
10. Bas padho - Padho Aur kuch kaam nhi ẩane wala.

my story
1 - Always spent more time making a perfect plan and end up not even following half of it ( I always try to study for 15 hours a day but I end up not even studying for 6 hours) - planning >> execution
2 - Wasted the majority of my time watching adult content and random videos on Jee, college, and strategy related videos. In turn regretted in the end of the day for wasting time and the loop continued.
3 - I was not honest to myself and my parents who had immense faith in me
4 - I was overconfident with my preparation did not even pay attention to my school classes.
5 - I did not make a good circle of friends and often did not say NO to them when they called me for any enjoyment ( Wasting my time)
6 - I spent overtime on watching lectures so slowly and making notes by copying the lecture pdf
7 - I spent less time on problem-solving ( Especially maths).
8 - I never gave importance to mock tests.
9 - I never took care of my health due to which I had a fever 4 - 5 times (No fixed diet and workout)
10 - When there always came a choice between facing the pain or staying in the comfort zone where I chose comfort zone and did not push myself.

So only take drop if you believe in yourself and you know what mistakes you did.
good luck for advanced mate

I have concluded that i won't be taking a drop year, at the end of the day for me a college TAG doesn't really matter , I might not have the very best start to my career but I'll eventually work up the career ladder.
At the end of the day NIRF 1 college or NIRF 50 it depends on the individual's capabilities and how he/she utilises the resources they have
This 2 years of JEE journey has definitely taught me so many things (not just academically) which I'll keep in my mind for my future aspirations and continue learning.

My main target during drop year IS getting disciplined.
So have you achieved your target?
(I hope you did)
Only thing that can improve a person in drop year is his focus.

1. skipping tests
2. procastination
3. ignoring chemistry continously
4. practice less
5. not understanding physics concepts the way i should have
6. constantly focusing on theory
7. stop thinking the results in my tests are okay because sabka kharab gaya hai
8. flaunting empty knowledge

10. didnt give enough mocks
Thank you sir for giving a true path for this drop year.
In this video some of your points slapped me so hard and some of points made me feel that I have to go through this path and I can’t repeat my mistakes anymore…
Sir I promise you I will not repeat any mistake that I did in past two years and I will not follow any influencer and their guidance except you and my subject teachers.
Sir I decided to take live classes in library and will be back home with only homework in offline format because here in Kanpur offline coachings are 20km away from my home and it will take my 2 hrs daily in travelling…
You can’t imagine how much reality your word shows me.
You says teacher contributes only 10%
but
With my determination, commitment and hardwork I will be in IIT next year and the I will rather say that I contributed 10% in this journey but rest 90% percent role is of you,my parents and my subject teacher.
Sir now I have no time to write this comment full of guilt, emotion and determination to any one else for next one year.I will not waste any time on this bullshit called social medias and yt,etc
Love you so much sir love you infinite you are my superhero ❤😭
1 didn't focus on maths properly
2) less mocks
3) organic chemistry less focus
4)less of focus
5) didn't get enough guide
6) no good question practice
7) spending time on gf/frnds
8) no good books solving
9) focused only on physics
10) wasting much time on non academic things

20:19 personal reference
This
Year got 96 percentile.....and pretty confident to cross 99 percentile because this year i didnt foccused on how should i attempt mains exam and did many silly mistakes... I attempted of 184 and due to this just got 120
Drop tha kya bhai
Mistakes
1 less questions practice
2 ignored maths
3 lack of revision of completed chapter
4 no test analysis
5 distractions daily 3-4 hrs
6 time waste in school exams
7 not studying consistently
8 gf
9 not following proper plan
10 no guidance from starting as a online batch student
I wasted my 1st drop year
Just because of my
laziness,
lack of guidance,
not consistent,
procrastination,
blaming someone else for my mistakes,
overconfidence,
the great one attitude (ego),
not serious about time,
Not giving mocks
Following many things at the same time
Not trusting one teacher
And took online coaching
But in my drop year i learned so many things
And going for second drop with full of confidence because I see myself improving i have my cleared vision this time going to join offline coaching
.... THANK you Sir for this great video
Ye offline aur online kerne se kuch nhi hota h bhai 😂....
@@deadshot3693 apne uppar depend karta hai bhai

when you guys are bornt 🤔
1. Not doing proper revision
2. Not paying focus to chemistry (inorganic and organic)
3. Not paying focus on part tests being conducted throughout the year
4. Not planning realistically
5. Getting too much distracted
6. Not setting a clear target or have a vision
7. Watching way too much UA-cam
8. Procrastination
9. Daydreaming
10. Thinking about ranks and college all the time
11. Wasted time on UA-cam strategies

Mistakes :-
Did not study
Spent time on live session
OverTime theory
Did not attempt enough question
No Revision
Was studying to show parents
Did not practice enough mocks
Procastination
Day dreaming
Overconfident
Followed multiple teachers and books
Running away from challenges and challenging problems
Addiction

To much time with bf
Thinking about my rank and college all the time
Waiting for videos like when will jee happen
Wasted time on nonsence and UA-cam
Looking for shortcuts and one shots
How to get 100 Percent in one week videos
Was confused and wasted time in catchy videos
Was under the influence of bad influencers
No physical exercise
Bad health due to it
Was going good till November but fell sick in December and ruined my hardwork
Taking second drop because started jee prepration in the end of 1 drop i.e, mid December 2022 and scored 55 percentile in first attempt in 20 days 🙃
Target - Rank under 1000 NIT suratkal CSE 🐣
Wish me luck mere bhaii... kal s classes start h Taken admission in Allen
Same I have same target ,but preparing since 3 years now in 12th...
Demotivate nhi kr raha hu bhai sachai bata raha hu mat le...mere batch mein iss saal 12double dropper h kissi ke bhi 93-94se upar nahi aye despite having 75-80+ in first drop
So 1000 bar soch kr lena
Sabko lgta ki unse ho jaeyga ,wo to alag h blah2 but aise hota nhi h to bada bhai mankr ek soch lena otherwise its totally upon u,ur life
But agar le to agle saal ek baar batanaa jarur ki tum galat the ya main.....✌️
Bhai 2nd drop boht big decision hai make sure you will do this time
Second drop is a huge thing broo, think 100 times before doing it. Not trying to demotivate you but jee isn't the only thing in ur life. College ja , skills gain kar, internships kar , real life experience gain kr. Ye drop ke chakkar ke mat pad agar 500% sure nhi hai ki u will crack it this time
@SINHA BRO I started preparing from 15 decemebr still got 92.6%tile in 1st attmept Pov:A class 12th student
1) Got serious in the end only
2) Not enogh practice
3) Left many big portions like coordinate
4) youtube
5) Addictions
6) Ran away from maths all this while
7) did mindless study in inorganic
8) didnt give regular tests
9) didnt bothered about analysis part
10) Consistency
Sir my mistakes are:
1. I didn't study physics and
chemistry in class 11th.
2. I didn't study organic chemistry of 12th
3. I was addicted to watch movies, series etc.
4. I always procrastinated to study chemistry because I didn't like it.
Maine to ye hi galtiyaan ki hain bas.
Aur to concentration ko improve kiya tha maine 12th mein.
Reasons bhi bata deta hoon main drop kyun lena chahta hoon:
1. Mujhe sirf IIT bombay hi chahiye. Mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye. Yahi mera goal hai abhi.
2. Maine 12th mein bhi hard work kiya hai par result nahi mila. Main bas apne aap ko aur samajhna chahta hoon. Aur jyada apni galtiyon ko dhoondhkar improve karna chahta hoon. Bas.
Abhi to maine koi coaching join nahi ki hai. Jab mains ka result aa jayega tab karunga. Tab tak main pw ke lectures dekh kar notes bana raha hoon chemistry ke. Organic poori samajh raha hoon.
One suggestion
IITB chahiye is gr8
But plz mains key prep mey compromise matt kar lena
First ensure a safe college by mains 1st attempt alongside advance prep
Uskey baad u can dive in passionately into advance mode
@@arijitsen1947 yaa bhai pehle mains hi to clear karunga. Full planning karke hi taiyari karunga

- COMPLETELY NEGLECTED CHEMISTRY
- No Revision
- No mock tests at all
- Solved but with the help of solutions
- Over-confident
- Didn't practice math enough
- Didn't study some topics in Physics
- Social Media
- Studied to show parents
- Didn't expect 1st attempt to be in Jan
Reasons for taking a drop
Left mathematics aside by knowing phy and chem are easy
Mistakes
did not attempt enough questions
procastination
demotivated by low scores
unable to follow a specific resource
My situation is also Ditto bro🤯
Sir maine drop apne marzi se liya, but bhaiya aur family walo ne kota bhej diya, aur sir vaha itna bura haal hua , class me samjh nahi aata tha then apne se UA-cam se cover karna para, vaha ke khana Pani suit nahi Kiya and October me typhoid ho gaya, ek mahina waste ussi me , firr mains ka date aa gaya and abhi recently check Kiya 2nd attempt ka marks toh 105 h, 😢😢, my advice to everyone for drop year would be don't blindly go to a institute because it has a reputation, but if u know the teachers well with whom u will be studying and enjoy study then only go
Dropper's are more matured and focused towards their goal than freshers.
Age jyada hone sey maturity jyada nehi hoti
edit: sorry, just realised how rude it sounds, all the best for your drop year.

@@sigmanerd5892 sure, in first month you will be super hyped you will be thinking of jee advance , but as time go on the motivation will gradually go down and after few months you will end up where you are now and i know this will happen to 90% of the people , i will suggest you if you have more than 85%ile take a college and works for it (if you do 1 years of hardwork in 3rd year of your college then you you will get better placement than most of the nit College)
