For Overwhelming Barrage, just say "And I'll put the REST of the damage on your Vader (or whatever)". Good point with Krennic, though, and great video again fellers.
Yea that’s exactly what you need to be saying or else pedantic players like myself will be expecting you to use the rest on your units. Thanks guys and thanks again for watching and subscribing
Thank you for watching and commenting. If FFG worded the cards better we might not need to do this. However, as they do, we have a 3rd part coming out next week!
@@oldboysnewtoysif they worded them better, we'd be out of "business" :D On a more serious note, I think FFG did a good job at not over-complicating the game (I'm looking at you MtG). Let's hope they keep it that way.
The rule we just realized we were doing wrong was the unique rule. We were originally told if your leader card is in play you cannot play the unit card. We just discovered that you actually can have both the leader and a unit in play at the same time.
Thank you for watching and commenting. It’s not a rule I’m a fan of but it’s an easy one to miss. At least now you can go power up your game playing double Boba’s or Vader’s!!
Overwhelming Barrage damage all resolves at once. It is not an instance where you do x damage and this unit dies, then you do x damage and another unit dies, etc etc. You select your targets and the damage you are dealing to those targets, and then boom, it all goes off at the same time.
Hi there. Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes that’s correct, all the damage is applied at the same time. We are just making clarifying that all the damage needs to be assigned as if not, the extra will come back to your units
Hi there. Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes you can attack the base with the AT-ST you action after using the overwhelming barrage. But no, you can’t use the overwhelming barrage (card action) to hit the base. I hope this makes sense
Hi. Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes he can as with SWU, you (mostly) play as much of the card as you can. So you can hit base. Be careful though as if you only have units and your opponent doesnt, you’ll do 1 damage to one of your own units. It’s great to build unit grit units or kill off Super laser tech
The way we read it, as long as a unit was played this turn, yes you can as long as you have the resource. F that unit is then killed, you can still hit the base for one
Yes, he can deal damage to the base without dealing damage to a unit, that's not a requirement. Did you know you can actually use Vader's ability even if you haven't played any Villainy cards? It just won't do any damage.
I agree on the Karabast issue with the conclusion that you would have to have a friendly unit available to even proceed with the calculation.
Hi there. Thanks for finding us and more importantly subscribing 👍 glad we see it the same way but some of these cards really test us and the rules

I wonder how much time each of us spends on each others channel. There should be a metric for that, right? 😂
I think it’s great that we all like, subscribe and watch each other for support as we all know how tough it is to build a following
Thanks for clearing up some weird rules

Too true 😂
On Overwhelming Barrage, I love assigning some on my Grit units!
It’s an amazing combo that appears to be mostly overlooked

Simple name. Check
Thanks for watching and commenting. We hope you enjoyed it
Just read the video description. We are all getting close to Supernova status 😂
P.S. I think Mr. Jeff is just letting us "win" on purpose.
You think? I think he’s not aware of anything other than beer ;)
@@oldboysnewtoys A man of culture then. Good, good.
Not the choice he buys 😂
What if you use overwhelming barrag with AT-ST you can attack the base ?

Can Vader use his "ping" ability on just a Base if there are no units in play?
I dont believe so

Can you put a second vader’s lightsaber on Darth Vader ?
Sadly not. As it’s a unique card, once you play a 2nd one you’ll need to discard one of them. This can even be the one you just played
