Sun Peaks hype is real this year! Smart of them to host some UA-camrs and they had the Rocky EWS guys up there. Been wanting to ride there for years after hearing about the awesome steep double blacks.
If the goal of SunPeaks Resort was to get some inexpensive promotion by having VanCan visit on their dime, they've succeeded! It's been many years since I was at SunPeaks but now I really want to go again!
Looks fun! I think Paul takes the "attack position" a little too seriously - seems very straight and stiff on the bike, his arms barely move relative to the upper body? Could probably benefit from learning to loosen up and get a bit more dynamic!
@@PaulThePunter u have improved so much recently, just try to push ur comfort zone more and you will improve so much you have the technique u just need the confidence
Yea its weird, where I live in Australia the jumps are too small to do whips, but when I went to whistler I learnt how to whip in 2 days and it got to the point if I didnt whip I would start going over the bars, I had to move the bike every jump!
To be fair I think the world needs to look at Revolution Bikepark in North Wales to see how to build a Bikepark ! Tiny Hill in comparison to Canada, Alps etc but way better for track design.
I rode there from 2000-2007. Imo the best all around bike park out there. Some of the steepest steeps I have ever ridden. Would love to get back to see the new stuff.

Are you going to Big White soon if you are you should check out Gillard Recreational Trails they have some sick tech and jumps but you would have to drive or shuttle up the road isn’t good to bike on

Just like to point out as a local.. this was the opening weekend and it basically rained a week straight just before they opened.. it was wet, there was tons of mud and puddles where ther usually isn't
Van Can, you couldn´t get enough speed on that drop because you were braiking inside the corner, you have to brake earlier, let go and then you would exit faster. You can also do it at that speed if you boos it. Hope this helps. Great video and riding as ever:))) I would love to visit!
I will have a chance to replace brakes in my new bike. I will have sram guide T's and since my brother sells his bike he offerd me to replace it with sram guide RE but they are used for 1 year(and thery are 2018 model). Do you think it is worth it? btw bought yt jeffsy and it arrives to me tommorow :)

do you use wide or superview on you gopro? also you should make a video reviewing your gopro settings and mounts you use.
