@Stress Less Ah I didn't notice anyone had crashed! Would have made sure they were all right! That section was sketch because it went from fast and 'smooth' to super tech.
Just how I remember Sun Peaks. The enormous speed down steep and rough tracks while traveling quite some distance in the air is what makes that place unique.
I like RAW clips like these, a pleasure to watch! I am getting more and more impressed by Remi's riding style, his inside corners were ridiculous and how does he doe one footers and dog pissers with clips, or did he have flats for the bikepark? You guys are so fast, absolutely blasting through these sketchy trails!!
Love the noises when you guys make a line that frankly nobody has any business making! And as below, at least i know what my bike can do if ridden properly !!
I just got made fun of pretty hard by my girlfriend for leaning into the corners while watching this. Thanks for the great videos, Jesse. Always enjoy watching them.
Important that you try your best to keep the bike perpendicular with the the camber, but then keeping your body as straight as possible, you will probably end up somewhere in-between and hopefully that will increase grip levels.
What's the trail at 15:16 . Heading to Sun Peaks this weekend and that one looks up my alley. Didn't ride it last time I was there so would like to give it a go.
Hey Jessie. Thanks for the fun vids. I know you guys are on the Slayers now mostly but I'm curious about your Instinct setup. In one vid it looks like you have an angle headset; did you run one for a non-stock head angle? Thanks again! 👍
One of the best bike park POV vids ever, just raw shredding for 19min! I've ridden a lot at Whistler and of course it is amazing but the rawness and steep tech in this video can't really be found there (in the bike park). Need to check this place out with a DH bike.
I live in Vancouver I used to have a cabin up by sun peaks but never biked there just skied. Now that I've started mountaing biking I wanna shred this sooo bad
13:45
Guys standing: "Hey, let's see how people tackle this section."
[Pro racer train goes by]
Guys standing: "That'll work."
Glad we could show them the line!
@Stress Less Ah I didn't notice anyone had crashed! Would have made sure they were all right! That section was sketch because it went from fast and 'smooth' to super tech.
i've ridden that section prob 100 times, never that fast though!
@@smellyseamus sometimes when you don't know it at all you do it faster than if you did haha
Love how lots of the trails are naturally built.
Me too! That's what makes it a cool bike park!
Most of canada is like that😊
THIS BIKE PARK IS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR !🥳🎉🎊
IT HAS EVERY KIND OF TERRAIN IMAGINABLE TO CHALLENGE EVERY RIDER LEVEL. GREAT VIDEO!
so that's what my bike is capable of eh, good to know!
Yes it is!
5:53 When the mama bear starts running your way! KEEP GOING!
Only if you think you can outrun it! haha
Good breaking for that cute, little bear pupper
Just how I remember Sun Peaks. The enormous speed down steep and rough tracks while traveling quite some distance in the air is what makes that place unique.
Definitely! Such fun trails!
The way you screamed “Ahh” with the bear... I must have rewound that and watched it ten times... so good!
Well I didn't want to hurt it!
Jesse Melamed I probably would have done the same thing... actually, I probably would have crashed... lol
@@JesseMelamedMTB Did you call it a bear dude? Or were you calling out to someone else saying 'Bear! Dude!'. Bear dude rocks.
See ya... I'm off for a shred ! This got me so stoked to ride!
Hell yea! That's the point!
dude you deserve so many more subs! your videos are incredible!
I'm working on it!
You guys are absolutely shredding! Looks sweet there!
Awesome Videos. Thanks again for the Upload. It was so much fun to watch
Glad you like them!
Heading up there tomorrow! So hyped
Nice man! Enjoy!
loved watching you guys absolutely rip through that park. looks so fun.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yay! Good to see you back in a bike park. Lucky man. I think all the parks are still closed here in SF.
Ah bummer! Soon enough!
One of the best videos I've seen all year.
Sweet! Stoked you like it!
Love those Natural tech trails
So much fun!
Fantastic riding. Wanna see more.
Thanks, will do!
A+ riding for some A+ trails!!! Love when my slow *** ends ups going hyperspeed because of trails like these
Thanks!
The speed you guys are going is unbelievable. Sick video 🔥
Those other guys have been here before so they were towing me in at proper speeds!
Sick vid Jesse, that bike park looks awesome!
It was!
true that best bikepark in Canada for me for sure !
Nice!

He practiced a lot with flats so I think he is just really comfortable doing them with clips as well.
@@JesseMelamedMTB He must be good at timing and coordination then
Rocky Mountain bear slayer!!
Amazing riding, as always
hahaha
Damn... your riding is insane
Love the noises when you guys make a line that frankly nobody has any business making!

Haha we aren't always confident for every move, we are playing the game of traction just like you!
@@JesseMelamedMTB Just like me at 3x the speed!! Perhaps more bears in the UK might speed me up !!!
Thank you for putting the thumbnail in the first 10 seconds. Hope the bear found its mum.
Ha you're welcome! Yea she was just up the hill a bit.
Such a good crew
Hell yea!
Such a sick video! Was just up at sun peaks today.
Class video!🤙👊
Thanks!
@@JesseMelamedMTB can't believe u actually replied! Your a huge inspiration for me keep doing what your doing!🤙👊
This is sickkkkk!!!
Yessir!
I'm reminded of the old saying, "Do bears sh*t in the woods." 😁
We might have caught him in the act.
@@JesseMelamedMTB You nearly did!
Bear became a trail dog for a split second. Crossed that one off his bucket list
This is sick.
So good!
I'm sorry but your scream at the beginning had laughing so hard lol. Awesome natural trail though bro. Great video.
I was proper scared!
@@JesseMelamedMTB I would be too bc you never know where big momma is at.
Soooo 🔥 need to head out there myself asap!
Damn those runs are so fast 🔥 awesome riding to watch. Miranda is super smooth aye 🤙
Yea she is! Not a world champ for nothing!
place looks so good
5:44 Jesse "sorry buddy"
Bear: Understandable have a great day
hahaha
Also you should change the name of this to “pro rider almost hits Bear” views would double... lol
Ah but it's in the thumbnail!
@@JesseMelamedMTB thats the real attention drawer. What? Lol
I just got made fun of pretty hard by my girlfriend for leaning into the corners while watching this. Thanks for the great videos, Jesse. Always enjoy watching them.
haha tell her I do the same!
Watching in slow mo to see you guys corner so fast! 😂🧐
haha always studying!
Freaking awsome riding guys if only I was 30 years younger ha ha 👍👍
Me too!
Dying to ride Canada trails bad!!! I was post to leave for Canada this week for whistler!!! 😕 sick video! Sketchy when the bear came!!!
It will still be here for you;
Jesse Melamed yup lol Definitely gonna have to make it a three week trip out there for sure!
This is great for watching on mute during dull teleconferences. THanks!
hahaha super glad I can help you out with that!
Holy Diver 🤘
haha glad you caught that!
Looked insane! So jelly. I also apologize to any animals that I cross paths with. Luckily, have never been that close to a bear.
I didn't mean to startle him!
15:25 how do you ride off camber roots because I always slide out every time I go over it ???
Just try your best to be 'light'. If you think it and will it it helps you not slip out
lower tire pressure drop outside foot a lil
Gabriel Leute what about the bike positioning. Do I need to lean towards the camber or just keep the bike straight ??
Important that you try your best to keep the bike perpendicular with the the camber, but then keeping your body as straight as possible, you will probably end up somewhere in-between and hopefully that will increase grip levels.
what all the other guys have said plus stay off the brakes!

Hehe, over-the-shoulder check at 6:08 to see if momma bear is following...
Fast and stylish!!! Is the bear in the raceface enduro team? Lol. Good ride anyway ✌
Should be our new mascot!
So wild how you guys can have bears just dropping in front of you on the trails. 100% I’m waiting for no one!!! 👋🏻👋🏻

Okay, this gets a friggin like.
When you see a bear cub, you better look out for mommy. >.
Bear cub at 5:40
Thanks.
THIS IS A MTB VLOG AND THEREFORE THE TITLE OF THE VIDEO MUST BE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
God I miss doing chairlift runs. Great video.
haha dang it
I like this video the most. Who are your riding buddies?
thanks! All my friends!
Hi Jesse Melamed, what's your bike computer ? Thx man ! Great videos !
Stages Cycling Dash
Did anyone else see MAMA BEAR sitting in the field off to the right? You're lucky to be alive!
No hes not 🤷♀️ bears il in sun peaks are scared of everything and he had a bike so I doubt hes lucky
We were aware of her, black bears here just charge to scare you away and keep their cubs safe. We did as she wanted.
could you make some tutorial videos, love the content even from wales!!!
18:12 i thought i was the only one that made noises while riding haha. that’s the one i do most often
haha I can't help it.
Mantap 👌
Dang this looks crazy to do.
It's all fun!
Cant believe noone commented 12:40 dem sick inside lines!
Can you get momma bear to chase you on the next video? Then we'll see how fast you REALLY are! 😉🤙
Haha I would not like that!
What GoPro are you using?
The hero 8
Oh shit that little bear was so close
Too close!
what bike were you using if you say a god damn slayer i am gonna buy that bike after i demo it
A god damn Slayer! And Remi was on it too!
Hey Jesse noticed you’ve got your gps mounted to your stem top cap why that over handlebar mount
I didn't like rotating the handlebar mount over and over again to get to my oneup tool.
haha thats so crazy seeing a bear in a bike park Canada does it differently lol
I live in Vancouver I used to have a cabin up by sun peaks but never biked there just skied. Now that I've started mountaing biking I wanna shred this sooo bad
You should!
Glad you weren't recording when I fanboi'd
That was a beary run. 😂 sick speed. By the way, what’s the setting on your gopro?
Haha thanks. 4k, 30fps, protune with high bitrate and 200-800iso
Thanks Bud. So fun watching you guys! Jealous to ride my bike now.
I'd rather bunny hop an Aussie brown snake than encounter a bear any day!
I think I'd rather the bear!
We probably live in the right countries then! ;)
what is the computer cycle you use?
It's a Stages Cycling Dash.
@@JesseMelamedMTB thank you
M50 or L50?
Haha another sender named remy! I wonder if he's like remy Métailler
He's better!

That would be a sweet super power.
what frame rate do u use?
30fps.
So fucking amped to see people riding sunpeaks
yewwww
Bears are fast, but not top 10 EWS fast 😎 🐻
Haha "on your left!"
sssshhhh, us locals prefer it quiet. :)
I do apologize for that...I think I want to keep it quiet all for myself too!
Rather give them my money than Vail.
More of a people person resort for sure
*sad whistler noises*
I like the raw trails better!
Glad you weren't recording when I fanboi'd
But that would have been the best part!
