How to Cut Open & Eat a Huge Jackfruit

- So, you got a jackfruit! If you're new to this incredible tropical fruit, you're probably now researching how to cut the jackfriut open. It's a bit of a project, I must admit! In this video I share the first time I ever cut open a jackfruit, and my tips for how to open a jackfruit it without making a huge mess.
Top tips: lay down a tarp or some kind of disposable oil-proof table cover. Coat your hands with oil. Use a sharp knife you don't mind messing up, and even coat your knife with oil. Get ready for a bit of a workout!
If you'd like to make use of the seeds, you can roast the to create vegan roasted jackfruit seeds! I didn't do this but I've heard good things. Otherwise, they are compostable.
