Just a small point, before modelling the shirts, please have them pressed, it detracts from the appearance to have them creased. Thanx. Great shirts, particularly when they have offers.
I lost a lot of weight. >60 pounds (4.5 stone) - and I needed to refresh my work wardrobe. Explored Charles Tyrwhitt. Amazing fit - very stylish and received a lot of compliments. Nothing but good things to say. Had to return a couple as well. Paid a light ship back fee, but was reimbursed within a few days. Awesome!
Metal collar stays, the return policy and the 6 month guarantee says a lot about the company. Charles Tyrwhitt has been on my radar but I have never made a purchase. You made me interested in doing business with them. Thanks!
For anyone on the fence...get a few. My biggest issue I had in finding great dress shirts was shirts with floppy collars. The collar structure on these shirts are amazing and look great. They structure your face super well. I highly recommend trying some, worst case you have 6 months to return them. I would wait until 3 for $99 somes back though.
@@traviswatson4986 it’s great. I wouldn’t go classic, slim is perfect. I ended up having to exchange all mine to switch from 34 to 35 sleeve length. But now they fit perfect
Following your advice I have just bought my boyfriend a Charles Tyrwhitt Shirt on Vinted. It only cost 15 € so I'm very excited to see what it looks and feels like. 👔
most of my shirts is Tyrwhitt non iron, because I hate ironing/do not want to pay for it, my other shirts are Superdry. I love the Tyrwhitt fabrics, and the non iron on most shirts is very good, on others it is OK (still wayyy better than nothing!). I order through Instagram, because there you get the deal that you pay 33€ free shipping per shirt if you buy 3 or more. I used the return service a couple of times because I was experimenting with different sizes until I found what I like most, and the return service is 10/10 excellent, costs nothing. Waiting time till stuff arrives is like 1-2 weeks roughly. I am very satisfied with their shirts, with the other stuff I cannot say because I get other basics, like chinos, from Uniqlo or other outlets. For me the non-iron is the selling point, also they have a lot of very nice designs!
Thanks for watching. I agree, at the price point of 33€, they are the best option out there. The purple line by Spier & Mackay is also great and sometime on sale, you can get them for around 40 Euros.
@@BITW_Guzman yes, definitely. Overall my experience with CT has been very positive. Everything I bought from them (10 dress shirts total) has held up pretty well. I had to return & exchange 2 or 3 due to fit or color (I am struggling between slim & extra slim) but no quality issue. The return process is smooth and service is superb. High quality fabric, large variety of fit and styles made it my favorite immediately. It felt luxury shirt with budget price. The quality to price ratio is so much higher than other brands - I donated all my Brooks brother, Ralph Lauren, Banana republic shirts after CT purchase.
I used to buy from them a lot, but in recent years I've bought made to measure shirts. I recently bought some from Charles Tyrwhitt again, and I have to say I wasn't that impressed by the fit or quality. But I guess you're right that, for the price, they are pretty good.
Thanks for your comment, Matthew and thanks for your insight into Charles Tyrwhitt. I also read somewhere that their quality apparently decreased, but I haven't tried them earlier. Where do you buy your shirts? You're right, for the price point, they are pretty good. I also bought some made-to-measure shirts in Bangkok, which were pretty nice as well.
I get all my MTM shirts from Proper Cloth. Except I could not find a Cream/Ecru colored fabric. I ordered a non iron shirt from CT which had a wonderful color and then had my Tailor alter it to fit me for $15. Its pretty good. However if you start customizing a CT shirt - the price goes way up and you are better off with Proper Cloth.
Can you do a review on their performance suits? I love that their stretch shirts are stretchy without adding elastin. I'm curious if their performance suits are flexible and stretchy. Like, can you raise your leg high in them, or do a split without worrying about ripping it? Those are the questions I have about their suits. If you can do a review that would be great!
Thank you for watching and thank you for your suggestion. Great idea. I am moving to Asia in 4 weeks, so I will check if I am able to get it done before my move.
So I've been a long-time buyer of this brand. I have over 50+ shirts, shoes, suits, and jackets. The shirts lately are very inconsistent with the size, and the quality has slipped. The price point is still great, though. I've been buying a lot from Paul Frederick, Williams and Kent, and Johnston and Murphy, lately
Thanks you for a great review video, this helped me make my mind and try them out. What is the brand of the Polo you're wearing? the collar seems very sturdy and rigid
Thanks for watching, Amin. They are great shirts for the price. You definitely won't regret it. The polo is by Lawrence Grey, I think around $30. I can't find it anymore, unfortunately. Seems like they discontinued the buttonless polo. I recently tried the regular polos by Spier & Mackay and their quality is pretty great.
How do these feel to the touch ? I bought some Kenneth Cole shirt and they fit perfectly but they feel a little rough as opposed to other shirts I’ve seen that feel almost like a tshirt
Thank you for watching, Alex. I can't find the english page because I ordered in Germany, but the one I got is the following: "Bügelfreies Henley Hemd mit Haifischkragen - Ozeanblau" Cutaway Collar Non-Iron Henley Weave Shirt
Not as good as they used to be (6/10). Joseph Turner are better though the fabric can be a little 'summer weight' (7½/10), but for real quality you should try Harvie & Hudson (9/10).
@@Lukas_Schanderl OK, good. Do you have own experience, is Charles really has a good quality? I used some TM Lewin British brand but they were not a good quality.
Thank you for your comment. I guess it depends on what you compare it to. I only have experience with shirts by e.g. Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger.
