I have a 2022 trailhawk. I love it. It drives smoother than a bigger jeep. It also goes anywhere. The Easter eggs are fun to find. The plate on the back needs a rubber frame to keep it from rattling; I love driving my toaster.,
I don't think people give the Renegade TH enough credit. For what it is, it's great. I own a 2019 Rene Trailhawk and I live in the desert and have beat the absolute shit out of it. No, it's not a rockcrawler; however, it'll do 90% of what you ask of it while getting good gas mileage. I don't think enough offroad truck/SUV owners have been around enough THs to understand just how capable they are. I think there are a lot of preconceived notions about this thing that are quickly put to rest if you actually see it in action with a person that actually knows how to drive offroad lol.
I love my renegade trailhawk they are such great daily drivers. Put some 225/65 r17 all terrains on it and you're set. The small wheelbase and angles make it so maneuverable off-road
What Jeep should do is make the Renegade longer, call it the Jeep Cherokee and stop selling the current Cherokee. A longer Renegade would look more like the classic XJ Cherokee and it would probably sell better than the Cherokee and current Renegade.
I have 2017 Renegade Trailhawk. It’s really a nice daily driver. Been on a few trips with it, did excellent. Mine is 2.4 non turbo. I think Jeep should have put a turbo on the 2.4 liter. 1.3 liter kinda small for my taste.
@@LucasFishing88 95 percent of all SUVs dont have an actual 4x4 system like the Wrangler. Its made for snow, camping, and minor off-roading not rock crawling. If people want to rock crawl they can get a new Wrangler with window cranks for 45-50K.
One can't help but wonder why they bothered to develop a 1.3 liter turbo, when they already had 1.4 liter turbo (the Fiat MultiAir engine) in their roster.
My mom actually owns one in Bikini Blue. It's not that great at rock crawling, of course. But, if you're just doing dirt trails or mountain roads, it's pretty good. Good review Ben!
Meh. I disagree. While it does have wonky issues like every other Jeep, I'm a part of many jeep renegade groups and they seem to be fairly reliable, so it's hit or miss. The 2.4Ls have had more issues than the newer 1.3Ts thus far.
I have a 21 Trailhawk. These vehicles are surprisingly capable offroad and great for everyday use.
I used your review to make my decision. 2022 Jeep renegade latitude and I LOVEEEE IT.

Bought a used 2022 limited with 68 miles on it for 24k.. couldn’t pass on that. Coming from a 90s ford ranger owner, I think anything is an upgrade
Renegade owners, share your tips for maintaining your Jeep and keeping it in top shape.

No they should keep it small. Change the lug pattern and give it a removable hard top.
You cracked me up! I can smell Italy.
2022 Jeep Renegade BU Trailhawk 4X4!

Not just a decal on the hood. It’s an anti glare decal.
I have the 2016 version I love it
I like the renegade is such a good off road suv it's one of my favorite jeeps
It’s a fiat basically no real 4x4 system like in the actual jeeps. Like the wrangler and Cherokee
@@LucasFishing88 yea I know fiat really fucked up jeep

It makes you wonder how they managed to get only 22 mpg city from such a small engine?
The weight. Most reviewers agree it's a pretty solid feeling vehicle due to its weight
That was not hi question headass
It’s a shit engine and it the car straight up looks ugly only dub is the off-road capability
I guees exterior of Jeep Renegade Trailhawk needs more aerodynamic to get more costumer but I like engine also interior of the car.
Exactly the same as my '21 TH.
A decal on the hood ! Dear God....I want one, to hell with the price. (Sarcasm, for you Sheldon types)
Oh yeah, the decal adds an inch of ground clearance! /s

I don’t understand why they didn’t Turbo the 2.4. Mine has non turbo 2.4 liter, if it was turbocharged it would be great.
@@bullittboost6046 Because it would almost be too powerful for its intended customers.
Jeep renegade trailhawk is a cool SUV Ben your funny
in my opinion no. Not without a
low side to the transfer case. might be a great car though.
you think anyone would buy one is the name fiat was on the front ? let alone pay the exorbitant price .
Let me guess it’s a 1.3 turbo lugging that overweight compact around with that terrible 9 speed of a transmission
Lol
