Guy doesn't even disguise his voice anymore and is surprised when people he knows can figure his secret identity out? They didn't even need the charred watch thing to explain how she knew.
They should really have had Barry do the voice chager thing like in season 1. Atleast come up with some device that conveniently masks his voice to everyone except people that already know his identity.

The weak point of Barry hiding his ID from anyone he interacts with frequently is there is nothing to disguise his voice. As Kramer works closely with Barry it should have been totally obvious who the Flash was as well as the fact his mask doesn't cover that much of his face. But comic book physics and witness stupidity rules I guess.
The writers really need to pull their heads our of the 1950's and think with today's tech.
Stargirl is another show where there is no way her ID can remain secret given that small mask.

I get it when he is interacting with people who already know or people who don't know Barry, like random citizens but when it is someone who knows Barry but not know he is Flash, he should do more to disguise himself. I would think the voice vibration at least budget wise is cheaper than the face blurring.

Correct if I’m wrong but Barry revealing his identity to the entire world isn’t necessary. Unlike with Kara and Oliver, Villians have never truly cared about his secret identity. And also the citizens at least for now they don’t care much about it either.
I'm glad she figured it out instead of barry telling her makes this more sense and feel more realistic as a cop and Military agent
And her arc which starting with her trying to get the flash arrested and hating metas, to becoming a meta and working with the flash.

Let’s be honest it is no longer a surprise to anyone anymore who the flash is Barry doesn’t disguise his voice or his face anymore not to mention in every suit his face is more and more visible not to mention he makes it super obvious between his job and being the flash always knowing more about a case before it even starts before he even has to do any CSI work.

Nobody even thinks there is a secret identity.... and look at how Christopher Reeves held himself as Clark and Superman... it shows a lot how much he disguises himself in ways that wouldn't be as obvious unless if you were already in the know.

I just want to point out that having a mask which completely vanishes at the press of a specific spot is more risky than a regular form fitting mask. One accidental tap because he was sent flying or someone grabbed him, or he had to hold his neck to brace for impact and that's it. Identity gone

That mask doesn't even hide any of his face and he doesn't change his voice at all. How everyone doesn't figure it out instantly is a mystery
More than likely budget reasons on the network's part. My guess though, is that in universe it's basically become an open secret within the department; they all know or at least suspect Barry is the Flash, but don't say anything, even as Barry becomes much more lax with keeping his secret ID a secret, not that he was ever good at hiding it to begin with. Singh and Kramer both figured it out on their own, guaranteed they aren't the only ones.
@@pixie92441 I mean, Barry was canonically the CEO of Star Labs from Season 2 onward, and they were at least the leading source of Anti-Meta Tech in the country (with ARGUS being second). Anyone who knew there was a connection between Flash and Star Labs HAD to know Barry had some sort of connection with the Scarlet Speedster. Plus, I'm pretty sure it was public knowledge that the first wave of Metas were created by the Particle Accelerator, which exploded the same night Barry fell into a coma, and by pure coincidence, Flash appeared soon after Barry woke up and was constantly helped by Star Labs through their techs and their specially designed/repurposed cells. At the bare minimum, it's like you said. Everyone in his department had to know who was under that cowl.
As much as I liked this show, this was always my biggest issue with it. By the time he was framed and went to court, everyone in the city should have known Barry was The Flash, in addition to possibly being one of Central City's richest man.

nah its the way the season is roled out. So basically we have 3 storylines in this season and in between there are the interlude episodes which are standalone episodes. Next weeks is the last standalone. I think its a nice way of doing the seasons.

Everybody in this show knows. In contrast, I recall a cartoon where Flash and Lex Luthor switched bodies and had to fake through each other's lives for a while. Lex goes into the bathroom, smirks at the mirror and says, "well at least I can find out the secret identity of the Flash!" He takes of the mask, stares at the reflection, and sighs, "I have no idea who this is."

There's about 200 people who knows Barry secret identity by now, and the last time I checked,the world smallest country, population is 94, so an entire country knows who Barry is, why wear a mask if he's going to do that.

I want that the flash is making a joke about how they’ve had a running streak of people finding out his identity or Barry telling them but honestly I wish they would just stop it because at this point it defeats the purpose of a secret identity when half of the people now like when Joe and Iris found out that shit was genuinely interesting but now whenever a new character is introduced bad or good you know they’re going to find out relatively quickly

One of the stupidest way Kramer could have found out his identity. The Flash clearly told her that he saved Barry which indirectly means CSI Barry broke out of the cuff in supervision of the Flash (according to the perspective of Kramer). But she still says this as a reason she found out. There are 2 easiest way she could have found out.
1. She is a mimic meta for god sake. All they had to say is Kramer was able to feel the super speed whenever Barry was around and coupled with the fact Flash didn't show up until after the explosion she was able to deduct that Barry could be the flash.
2. Any logical person could easily say that the damn mask doesn't hide a thing. Anyone who knows Barry well can easily sketch out that the Flash is actually Barry.
Man used to vibrate his face and voice to disguise from Iris in the first season and how could he just forget that now. Can't he use it always at least when Flash is around people who are close to Barry but doesn't know he is the Flash.
Wait, what happened in the end? Did Nora & Bart do something to change the timeline?

She can absorb meta powers, so she should be able to atleast detect meta powers, right? Shouldn't she have known that Barry was a meta just by proximity?
Not “absorb”, but more like “mimic” the power of other metas in proximity of her. And as she stated in tonight’s episode, she can’t really control her abilities to the point where she’s sometimes using them unintentionally & unknowingly to her.
She mimics pretty much like Rogue from X-Men and Amon from Legends of Korra.

I mean it's obvious if you know Barry Allen or have spoken face to face. Then the Flash comes up talking to you directly, face not vibrating, voice not disguised, if you aren't absolutely brain dead, or a child, you should be able to put two and two together.
