If I give my two cents on non CS grads like Architecture majors moving to MIS: MIS is an interdisciplinary course, students from history,language,arts background also study because the course gives a combination of people, TECHNOLOGY and business. From my research, these students also have a solid professional background want to explore this MIS and it's a great idea. Not all courses require prior coding experience, analytical thinking skills are more than sufficient. Everyone has a unique motivation to study so helps to identify yours and see how MIS can help.
