Enjoyed this video (and part 1) alot. I was lucky enough that when I was a kid 1940s and 50's comics could still be found semi-regularly at garage sales; I got my hands on a few Target Comics (all were the Target, so maybe it was just two with several seperate Target adventures in each?) and even though it wasn't as good as most Silver Age comics I was reading I remember being really into the characters' look and that it was just a basically average guy (way more average than even Batman or Green Arrow) and his two friends (brothers?). I was even fortunate enough to get a copy of the team-up Target Comics you showed, where Uncle Sam gathers all of Target Comics' heroes for help against the war effort. Really wish they'd taken the next step like DC did and create an actual super-team.
I have a lot of Wolverton reprints of Spacehawk Powerhouse Pepper and science fiction stories. I think his art was ahead of it's time and would not be surprised if his style inspired Robert Crumb to draw in a similar fashion.

Rex Dexter is in Savage Dragon. Others listed as well.
Really solid video, I’d love to see a part 3
Dude I love these vids, hope you continue the series
I would really like if they are revived in some tokusatsu manner

The target is the worst nonsexual superhero costume I have seen thanks to that target on the chest
