I'm VERY new to the cricut world and this has been such a great instructional video!! I really enjoyed you taking us along through the process. So Helpful!!! Thank you!! You have a new follower!!
You will need to calibrate once for Print then Cut, then again if you do a project with a knife bade, then again if you do a project with the Rotary blade. Then, if you are ever doing a project with one of those three things listed above, and the Cricut does not seem to be cutting correctly you will need to re-calibrate. I calibrated my machine once when I set it up, and then a second time when Cricut changed the print then cut registration marks.
I’ve recalibrated my machine today and updated everything and it’s still not working calibrated I’ve had to hard reset it and it’s still cutting way off
Thank you for this video! I am very new to Cricut and purchased an Explore Air 2 recently. I'm trying to cut felt and also bought the Bonded Fabric Blade. What are the steps for calibrating a new blade? Do install the blade first and then go into the calibration?
This was a very good explanation. I am surprised that this is not emphasized in the instruction anywhere by the Cricut folks. Thank you very much.
now that you found it, make sure you tell others!
Just did mine, out of nowhere last night before print. The demand came up. Thanks now I know it was the update

@@TaarnaGirl you do not need to calibrate for the bonded fabric blade. Only for Print then Cut projects or projects that use the Knife blade.
