Gorgeous oboe sound quality from both! I do so prefer the European sound to the American version. There's something so warm and inviting about the sound quality of these instruments.

I dont know. The student's tone feels like yoplait yogurt. Compared to Leleux's tone, the students tone seems plasticy. IMO, Lelux's tone is that true greek yogurt and it sounds more natural.
One is the best wind musician player in the world :) maybe this kind of sound is searched

GrotrianSeiler i think it's also a marigaux M2
From the upper joint, it looks like an M2, but the bell looks like a 901, with the silver metal band. The standard M2 bell does not have this and also has a different shape. Anyway, being a Leleux student, he certainly plays some Marigaux material whatsoever.
