so cute ❤️ we have a wild hedgehog and can't touch him. However he is really relaxed, too 🦔❤️🐾🐾🐾
This is precious. Mine isn't quite that friendly. We need to play with him more to get him that friendly.
Jealous! My Winnie is a little ass hole. He'd never let me do this -_-
On one hand it is super cute. On other hand people watch such videos and expect their hedgie to be the same without making research first. Then we have lots of sad stories of negligence in the rescue group.
For anybody wanting to buy one: 1. Go for licenced breeders who have to follow good code of conduct 2. Read, read, read and once again read about them! There are a few good websites out there telling a lot. 3. Join a friendly hedgie owners group and ask how owning one looks in practice 4. Be ready to put work and mobey in. And most likely lots of patience. 90% of them are not naturally friendly and bonding can take a lobg time, but it is rewarding.

Yes.
They have a fairly soft undercoat, kind of like a mouse or a rat.
Most curl up and huff if you touch their bellies though.
