this music lifted up my IQ at least 10-15 points higher...(now it´s 16...)
Mine is minus 69 now.
For the past six years I have been coming back multiple times to listen to this performace. I still undestand nothing. This is brilliant.
edit:
Seven years
My favorite bassist since 93
I love his work with Shawn Lane. Two unique/enlightened souls. Thank You Jonas!
R.I.P. Keith Leblanc
THIS is music, imagination and skill, and the DYNAMICS, wonderful.
im pretty sure the whole thing is improvised by all of them.
it took quite a while to get the beauty of this, especially love the bass - opening new horizons on what could be an improvisational direction on bass, especially those silent parts. Learned much just watching this.
Great music to trip to… found this out by chance really but it’s true…. you know you’re in the best of hands that will lift you up & set you easy again…. thanks Jonas & the rest past present & future 🌠❤🔥🌠
all the negative comments keep it to yourselfs!! these guys are pro's yep I said it!!!!
Saw Aydin on Rick Beato's channel. Amazing.
I also love the fact that there's a nice X/Y over the kit. Some love sound guys pit OH's in the strangest places.
Gorgeous musical escape.
Absolutely wonderful!
This looks so fun, I wish I was there :)
The best thing about this for me, apart from great playing, is the sensitive sound balance between the instruments. A rare thing to find nowadays.
Amazing, love it!
Coming from two camps Shawn Lane camp and Rick Beato camp.
Again, taking his curiosity to new horizons... love him since the early 80s, so unique. This reminds me a little of Bitches Brew in the beginning ;-)
Awesome! luv it
He he he, I love it.
Love that introduction
Great!
It's been a while since I heared some Jazz that I don't like. This one nailed it.
oww amazing, wish i could see it live :(
Love it.
To the haters who think anyone could just smoke some dabs and do this: "if you have to ask, you'll never know."
That kick.... Why man ? Metal head mixing
Just tolerable.
Feels a lot like Jaco's Continuum in some parts, very calming.
Seeing it with one's ears :)
Nice!
Anybody notice the frets on his bass?
micro-intonation frets
True temperament frets
damn good
Damn.
you can tell by Hellborg's arthrithic frets that they are playing microtonal music. Very nice.
just been lately that he's using them?
Is this a piece or is it improvised?
Its a improvised piece .
There is a little bit of Speak Without Words by Aydin Esen being played
Next time i'll pay the ticket Thanks
Out!
Proper “heads up” music
Wat een gave muziek, even opstijgen naar…
eenzame hoogtes?
Benim için Echoes statüsünde. Ders olarak izletilmesi gerekir.
galet bra

This is that weather report song from Sweetnighter....'last stop home' or something like that
It's actually Darude by Sandstorm
@@martinmunguia3295 Old joke is old!
At beginning it´a bit boring to be honest , but i was brave and after a While ..WOW !
Cool Jazz ..
bir tane türk yok mu şu aydın esen i dinleyen
mert talay olmaz mı? Buradayız...
7 min + of self-indulgence before approaching musicality
Terry funk can jam on the keys
oh oh,when ever i hear this bassplayer i get frustrated;dont know why?
Because Jonas is at the same time in the pocket and way beyond. It's his signature.
@@chucku00 yep, he got beyond genre, trying to impress, blowing chops - all that amateur & ego shit - pure music & listening, communicating etc. if you will. Like all the other greats do & did. But that will most likely give you very little income ;-)
@Thomas Jobe “The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
these lights are so distracting
Denke mal das die Musiker selber angepisst sind so was zu spielen.
i know jonas hellborg is considered to be an amazing bassist but his performance here is kind of baffling 🤣 it was like some amateurs attempt at improv
well, i prefer that approach rather than the pro speed virtuoso musicianship most of the ppl are nowadays expecting to see. I mean it is always grateful to see that our referents are actually only as humans as we are and in this case it is enriching to think about how Jonas is an amateur trying to improv...
wut
Don't do drugs, ha ha, or well go ahead and you can get here, there ... and anywhere with your music, ha ha ha!
Wow you really don't get it.
*yawn*
transcendence taught me patience. you must've missed some lessons
Boring.
More interesting than you
No one cares what you think
Haha
You ever get really high and just jam with some friends and think you're playing the most amazing shit ever played by humans?
man this is not your level.
@@celalakgul6806 Succinct and not unkind. Perfect comment.
@donadthegonad
🤣 your description is almost too accurate
