Just thought I'd come back and thank you again, this has still been one of the best spots I have stayed in the last 7 years. Hope you are all doing well.
Haven't seen any videos in awhile, but I wanted to tell you I finally made it to your spot! This was the video that made me decide to RV and this was my goal. I spent 8 days there last week. All by myself for the most part. Thanks again for giving me the coordinates, God Bless!
Just watching a rerun and wanted to say I miss this channel. Thanks for being awesome people and for unknowingly giving me encouragement to try going it in a 5th wheel.
This is the sort of life I dream of living with my wife any daughter who's also named Hailey. I'm from AZ and the desert is just too beautiful. Your videos are a great, inspirational outlet for my future goals. Thanks for the awesome videos.
Joshua Forsha We love Arizona and the desert in particular! We are happy that you enjoy the videos and maybe one day can meet up with us on the road. How old is your Hailey? (Great name by the way)!
Totally Trailer I would love to. I'm not quite there yet unfortunately. I'm working my way to that goal but got a ways to go. My daughter is 2. But I definitely love the name.
Great video! Thanks for giving some detail about your cell/internet coverage. Being on the net daily during the week is really important for my future travels. Thanks,
Michael Walker Agreed! We still work and make videos so it's important for us to have communication with the outside world still (even though we like the middle of nowhere)!
me and my fiancé are looking forward to getting our 1st travel trailer and we LOVE watching you and your beautiful family videos about traveling and enjoying life in the travel trailer! you three and josie are the reason why we can't wait to get ours!!! thank you for you awesome inspiring videos!!
akanesi laui We are still constantly inspired by others too, so we are so happy to inspire you and your fiancée! Wishing you many happy moments for the future and maybe someday we will meet up with you on the road!
Hey guys....just passed this place earlier today. Was gonna go boondock in the same place you did, but my tow vehicle decided otherwise! Had to limp to Gouldings campground in Monument Valley as my egr got stuck open and made my truck barely run with no power. Luckily I can fix anything, but temp repaired this until I get to Sedona. Bad weather coming and I don't wanna get stuck in middle of nowhere. Wish we coulda camped out in Valley of the Gods..but gotta do it in better weather. To see this place in person is soooooooo much nicer than 2d pics or videos!
This is amazing! I always drove by this area from Page to Moab. Now I'll have to plan an overnight stop. Thanks so much for making this video and product links!
MrTommy001 Yes, the majority of land out here is Indian owned. But this was all BLM land and just beautiful! This is our favorite way to camp and spend time outdoors. Glad you liked it too and thanks for watching!
Wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed the series so far. Videos are wonderfully done. Drone sequences just ADD so much, don't they? Your tech approach to RVing would mirror my own... which makes me smile. (hear myself saying... yup, I'ld do that too!) Those little extra capabilities make it more fun. (You do need to add ham radio to your rig for fun and emcomm. Be helpful with the ladies are out hiking and you have no idea where they are at too.) ;oD THANKS so much for sharing your experiences. RV boondocking looks like a lot of fun. Stay safe. Rick ;)
Is that off of Trail of the Ancients. Incredible. Next time you’re there you should show how fantastic the stars look. I like your solar setup. I almost bought those panels... now I am going to have to.
I'm from the uk my sister lives in Texas I'm there next year both family's are doing a trip around the states for 5 months can't wait good to see the little extras we can get to make life better and we will defo be going around there at some point cool vids
Valley of the Gods is way more beautiful and interesting than Monument Valley. MV just didn't do it for me IMO. Your kitty is a beauty. Thanks for sharing your fun time, stay always safe.
Joseph Brown thank you! We are glad you liked the video! The GPS coordinates are: 37 degrees 17’ 0” North 109 degrees 48’ 40” West. Just be sure to take good care of that spot for us!
That is paradise indeed!!! Care to share the gps coordinates? I'm still house locked, but I'd like to add that spot to my list of places to go. Safe travels!!!
Dreaming of RVing sorry you are "house locked", we remember that feeling! The GPS coordinates are: 37 degrees 17’ 0” North 109 degrees 48’ 40” West. Just be sure to take good care of that spot for us! 😊
Love your setup, man what a awesome spot that you pick, to try to get my wife out there will be like, no way, not in this life time, but I really enjoy your video so please keep posting.
Man I am with you! That's the kind of boondocking we'd like to do! What a beautiful place. You mentioned that you can't have a campfire and I was wondering if that is true for all BLM camping areas?
Are there rules about flying a drone. Im coming from Canada and I have a small DJI, which I would love to fly in many of the parks in that area. Great footage, no wind noise, easy to hear audio and vibrant image! Good job.
Doggie tie downs, great idea, thanks. also 2 x 4 for cheap solar lights, thanks. wow out in the middle of flat land. you get cell service? your provider? listening as I'm typing att and thanks, version here.
Great vid. Just subscribed. That area is on my list. I hope it doesn't start getting too crowded. I wonder why it isn't already? Any theories on that question?
great video! man, I'm biting at the bit ready to head out lol. 5 months and counting as of the 11th. Love that spot! how much and what model are the solar panels? Booster cost and model? sorry if you've done a video on those before. What's the fresh water tank capacity and do you carry extra water in 5 gallon cans? how long will you be out there? sorry for all the questions lol.
Lucky Punk we understand your countdown pain 😀 we will be doing a separate video on our solar, cell booster and wifi equipment. We have a 76 gallon gray tank and 60 gallon fresh water. When we boondock we usually carry extra 5 gallon jugs with us to stretch out our days camping
Great, and inspiring video. Thx for sharing. Ques: Does this location require extensive travel on dirt roads? If so, what condition are they in and how many miles required to get to the better spots?
Glad you liked the video, thank you. The road is about 17 miles total all of it is dirt or gravel, the spot we camped at was about 6-8 miles of dirt in from the main paved road. The very first part (within 500ft) was in the worst shape when we were there after that it was easy going. But if there has been a lot of rain in the area it could be impossible to travel. When we were there we saw a lot of low clearance street vehicles on the road so when conditions are good just about any car can make it. Hope that helps
Beautiful. Great spot. Do you every worry about land pirates being out there by yourself? Not sure if there is such a thing but I guess you know what I mean. :)
golfnut Hi there! Thanks for the comment... we would typically stay in boondocking spots about a week. We stayed here for just 4 days though (although we would have loved to stay longer)
Hi jwall62 here ya go.... The GPS coordinates are: 37 degrees 17’ 0” North 109 degrees 48’ 40” West. Just be sure to take good care of that spot for us!
Totally Trailer so, finally heading to your spot. Leaving in 2 days from the east coast. I’ve been trying to pinpoint the exact location on google earth.
Just had to replace my awning...$2,300.00! Not because it blew away rather, I didn't use it enough and the Florida sand got it. Bummed but worth replacing.
Stayed out here 9/18, was right at the base of the first monument. This area was not all that peaceful, lots of in and out onlookers and motor cyclist.
I want to be a full timer, I love to hunt and fish and drive RC's. I have a small 12ft Jon Boat that I got from my Grandfather when He passed. The RV and the view is a lot better than any high end luxurious hotel.
Excellent camera work, nice background music. Thanks for sharing it with us. Safe camping.

What incredible scenery! Not sure I would like to be so isolated, but it must be amazing to be in such a quiet and peaceful place. Great video!
kaybee2441 You don't even notice the isolation because you are too busy being in awe of the amazing surroundings!
Great video! Thanks for giving some detail about your cell/internet coverage. Being on the net daily during the week is really important for my future travels. Thanks,

suedoevideo We love our strobe light, but not sure where we got it (we received it as a gift last Christmas)
Amazing. Did it have site # or other ID? I'm heading there in about 2 years.
Very nice
This one is definitely on my list for next year, you don;t happen to have any GPS coordinates for your spot do you?
Hi jwall62 here ya go.... The GPS coordinates are: 37 degrees 17’ 0” North 109 degrees 48’ 40” West. Just be sure to take good care of that spot for us!

What is the name of the intro song you used from Epidemic Sounds?
Do you also use a generator?
Mark Collier we do not use a generator, only solar

awesome. sub'd
they quit making videos :(
Who wants to know about his camper????
Stayed out here 9/18, was right at the base of the first monument. This area was not all that peaceful, lots of in and out onlookers and motor cyclist.
Man if someone wanted to slaughter some people, you'd be super easy targets. Hope you're packing heat, and know how to use it
but there is "NO" camping here
I want to be a full timer, I love to hunt and fish and drive RC's. I have a small 12ft Jon Boat that I got from my Grandfather when He passed. I have seen wench mount to put it up on a truck cap or rack to put a boat on. But Down the line I would like to get a Side by side. I am disabled, It is just me and my service dog. I was thinking get a Toy hauler and Just have a Bed and storage. I am in a tuff situations, I am about to be home less. I can't cook so I just want a freezer for frozen dinners and a microwave, and a small fridge for lunch meat and bread, or Should I just do Coolers with ICE? I have a microwave. I know I need a new truck because mine is not doing to well. Do I get a Truck camper, 5th wheel, pull behind. A van or Suburban or a new/use truck. I am lost. I don't know if I can even afford anything. Sorry I am just freaking out because I know I will be homeless and Don't know what to do.
Godspeed,Brother
NO LIGHTS! no ground lights, no Blinky lights on a pole. Everyone else there does NOT want to see you and your lights. Do NOT turn on outside lights at night. Not your place to have them on. Please be respectful to others and just be a nature lover not an intrusive camper! I was there in Aug 2018 and would be very mad it I saw all that beauty and your ridiculous lights.
