Lol, why is everybody so mean? Who cares if they call it camping? I used a tent until I was 53, I still would if I really wanted to go someplace on my bike. I recently bought a nice, used, low miles motorhome which I plan to take off in and I watch these videos to get ideas for easier living. I plan on living in mine so I don't have to live with my kids. ;)

Well..they are not diplomatic comments for sure yet...this video gives rise to thoughts of throwing money at every little setback while using your RV. It is a promotional mindset. Little shown in the video is best for boondocking...just more RV gadgets. The LED lights are wonderful, the roof vent fantastic but...the generator stuff? no.

In your ultra luxury motor coach with more amenities than a room at a FIVE STAR luxury resort. This should be called > 'tips for a luxury RV road trip'.

Does it really make a difference how you camp,as long as you enjoy what you do? an RV or a tent . sure I,d like a Bus like theirs but i try to face the fact that I cant ,I,m 78 and building my 5th ,not 1 of them the same and all HIGH mileage 500853klm when I bought this one We will see as much as we can and possibly stay longer but our enjoyment is the pride in building and living in our Hi- Ace which what its all about .

You guys are awesome! I live in New Jersey and the real estate market is crazy here. So much so that I am seriously considering living in an RV or TT full time. I like the idea of having no rent, mortgage or utility payment. I have been researching like crazy and my biggest concern was handling of sewerage, not trying to drive 40 miles every week to dump the black tank. You guys basically have answered all my major questions. I will be subscribing. Is there anything you can tell me about incinerating toilets? I was looking into composting but something that is a bit less "hands on" in the humans waste department would suit me better lol thanks!

***** In a previous comment I was probably a bit harsh on them. On this though I have to somewhat take their side. If they are gonna have pets I would rather they be responsible enough to keep them from becoming dangerously over heated. After all my guess is letting the cats outside unsupervised would be a bad ideal.

+RV Ralph AZ With the set up they have, they could boondock for .. a very very very very long time. They have solar, like 1300w, so say 4.5hr of peak sun exposure to those, that's nearly 6kw a day of electricity. If their is a day where it's cloudy or something they can conserve their battery banks voltage, and/or turn on the generator for some time. You know those big 60a 12v car battery chargers? Throw that right onto the generator and boom fully charged batteries in no time, that would be like $1-2 in gas since it's so low currently. Oh, no black tank instead double grey tanks? That's like 100+ gallons of grey water storage, if they let that evaporate or distill some of it, that just lengthens the term of their boondocking adventure.
Something else, you can get whats called a water bladder, they come in all kinds of sizes, from like 30 gal all the way up to 300 gal. They could put one in the bottom of their RV if all of the room isn't taken up, maybe one indoors, or maybe even just put one in their car? I'd say their potable water tank is already around 100 gal since they're in a nice RV, now say another 100+ gal in a water bladder, then they could also collect rain water, use pantie hoes over top of the entrance or on the bottom part of a funnel to keep out certain things like bugs, etc. They would run out of food before fresh water if they done this. However, since they're able to boondock so long if they play their cards right, during summer time they could get a elevated garden, which is 16sqft of growing area and stays elevated off of the ground so it doesn't mess up the land, two of those 32sqft, could yield a decent amount of food for two people. They also have these things called aerogardens where you can grow indoors from LED lights, and you can even put plants near windows. If you have a RV or a camper you can live off the grid forever. I could take a Camper or RV and live off the grid for a full year without putting one mile on it, and if you want to step it up a notch, I could do it without a vehicle as well. Just let me pick my own placement for it. :)
