I'd like to add a note, giving a different feel to the end of this season, in the book we see the ending scene trough the eyes and mind of Daenerys, she sends soldiers to take the city and then she's alone in her tent with her thoughts, feeling vulnerable and useless cause she can't fight she's reminded that she can't have children (not the first time she frets about it) due to that whole blood magic thing right before Drogo died... and then... a whole city comes out and calls her ... mother.

A little late but the reason she said "the first man" was because she killed a stable boy the previous season. Since he was a kid, that man was the first "man" she killed, but not the first person.

Really cracked me up, although I did love this season's finale, was a little glimmer of hope after The Red Wedding. You can't have death and heartbreak left, right and centre without something good and inspiring to put it all into perspective. There can be no darkness without light, and GRRM balances those two perfectly throughout.

@Eddie LM it was necessary because for the first time before season 4 it showed us how much broken theon really was after turning to reek .he really paid the iron price
In the books, the coin thing Arya did, was when they were escaping Harrenhall. Jaqen only helped freeing the prisoners after being named. Arya encountered a guard at the front gate, and said that she was told to give a silver coin each to all soldiers from Tywin. When she dropped it on the ground, she sliced the guards neck, as soon as he knelt down to her height.
Not to be rude or anything to the other two, but it's more intimate and warm when just Eric and Calvin do the reactions. :)

Seeing Robb's desecrated body being paraded around is still one of the most despicable and sickening moments of the series, made worse by the fact that poor Arya is there to see it. Then we also have one of the most satisfying moments of the series, watching Joffery getting punked out by Tywin. I always grin delightedly at that moment.

A storm of swords takes place in season 3 and 4 with the Red Wedding happening in the middle of the book. A feast for crows and A dance with Dragons are covered in season 5 but in season 6 we will have a mix of Winds of winter and parts of ADWD and AFFC

Hey Eric, love you guys and all but I have a question/request: Once Calvin has finished season 4 would you two consider playing Telltales Game of Thrones? If you don't know what Telltale is (unlikely) look it up. It's a bloody amazing story wich contains all of the official actors and House Forrester is very similar to the Starks. I just want to see both of you react on your decisions and the outcomes. Besides Calvin will experience The Red Wedding and The Purple Wedding from a different angle. Keep up the good work, I'm positive you guys will get alot more popular.

Calvin's flinching in the first scenes is fantastic. you can see him steeling himself for some horror, and then when he sees them, he just can't contain himself....
