数年前にこの動画を見て衝撃を受け今年とうとう音大入学にまで至りました
受験を乗り越える気力をくれたのは間違いなくこの動画だったと思ってます

このとき、「イタリアだし、パバロッティ出ないかな、でももう引退したもんな」って、わずかに期待してただけに、本当に登場した時は鳥肌が立った。
泣きそうになった。
しかも大好きな「誰も寝てはならぬ」。
今でもあの感動を覚えてる。
後に明かされる、実は口パクだった事実w
夜だったから、冷えて声が出ないかもということで事前録音のという措置だったそうですけど。

当時は今よりもオペラもパバロッティも知らず、テレビで何となくリアルタイムで見たけど、物凄く感動したことだけははっきりと覚えている。吹き替えでも何でも本人の声に変わりはない。それだけで十分価値がある。

若い頃の方が声にハリがあるし、高い声も余裕があったけど、こっちはこっちで、声に深みが出てきて好き
パパロッティが、出てきたのも、ものすごく感動して、驚きましたが、この曲を偶然にも選んで、演技をした荒川静香が、金メダルを取ったことは、日本人の私には、運命的なものを勝手ながら、感じました。イタリアの観客は、この曲で滑った日本人に総立ちで、拍手をしてましたが、パパロッティは、イタリアの国宝のオペラ歌手ですから、荒川さんの滑りも感動的なながら、すべてが、ドラマチックに見えました。

でもこの歌い手が素晴らしいということだけはわかります。超感動。
声質、リズムは言うに及ばず、中低音をしっかり発する技術力。後期で音程が低いけれど、彼の集大成のライブだと思います。世界最高峰、これぞ世界最高峰。
0度以下の中で歌うのは厳しいということで1週間前に録音をしておいたらしいね。
それでもこの歌声は凄すぎて感動する

心を清めるために時々見ています。
何度も見ています。何度見ても1:40から、間奏のパバロットティの笑顔がたまらなく好きだ。
この時、トリノの町には彼の歌声が響き渡ってた、、、忘れられない思い出、私の宝物。
あえて日本語で表記すると「ルチアノ・パヴァロッティ」になる。少しでも「この神々しい歌声」を身近に感じるために。。。只、残念でならない⇒もう彼は「神」の下へ召されたのだ。
強烈。動画でこの素晴らしさなら、その場にいたら失神するかもしれない。
本当は現調で歌いたかったかもしれない半音下げたのはパバロッティ先生も不本意だったかもしれない、でも先生の最後の魂の叫びだった❗素晴らしいです‼️

オペラもイタリア語もわからないド素人の私が聴いても、感動して鳥肌が立ちました‼️ この素晴らしい歌声を聴いていると……荒川静香さんの〈イナバウアー〉の映像も頭に浮かんできます。 イタリアの誇る《世界のパヴァロッティ》さん。
……もう亡くなられてしまったのが、本当に残念です😥💦‼️
声量、風貌、迫力、声の厚み
この人こそ世界史上最高の歌手と言っても良いのではないかと思う。
オリンピックの時にこの歌を聞いて本当に感動した。ここまで衝撃を受けた歌手はいない。

He was 71 years old at 2006 right? To have a voice like this at 71 years old is legendary my friends.
We all have. He was no exception. His family loved him. And you have no reason ore rights to judge him and say bad things about him. You didn't know him personally.
We all will remember him as one of the greatest opera singers at all time, as a great person, who gave his hurt out, to live a beautiful life, a life that touched everyone's hurts. We loved him too. And he will be truly missed.
Rest in peace, Luciano.

こういう系の音楽にはあまり触れたことがなかったけど、この歌自体も好きになりました
今でも辛い時は宇野くんのスケートを見て元気もらってます。
これ録音だったんだけど、そんなの本当に関係なしに感動する。
It was clear that he was suffering... There is a huge difference between the way he sings this song now, and the way he used to sing it with Domingo and Carreras. Yet the voice is still the same. He pours his heart out to make people happy. And their happiness is all he needs. A true angel. We love you Luciano, all Romania is with you and you will live forver in our hearts. In mine for sure! An angel has reached Heaven...

It amazes me that people still expect Pav to sound the way he did in his 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s even and judge him for having a different voice at 70. Of course it is going to be different. That a person can sing this well at 70 is awesome.

I'm not much of an opera fan, but this performance really struck a chord with me (no pun intended). I couldn't think of a better way to end the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games. Simply beautiful.
I'm always shaking when watching this video. Before his death it wasn't so. Before his death I watched this video with such a pleasure. And now it makes me cry. Because it's so sad to know that he's no longer here and he sings SO fucking good even when he's 70. God, how I love this man! He was, he is and he will be the only one. And the only truly host of the opera ever.

Not only has he overcame pancreatic cancer to sing in front of 35,000 people in Torino and 2 billion people worldwide, but he still campaigns with the UN and has raised US$1.5 million to date (750,000GBP or €1.1 million) through ONE SINGLE concert in Italy. He is a total ledgend and i respect him dearly.

Pavarotti is the PRIDE OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. Do not fault him for leaving his wife. Love him for what he has accompliched. BRAVO LUCIANO!!!!!!!
His 72 now, last year -71, it's understandable that the song is performed lower than it was written. You can see in his eyes, that it's already difficult for him to sing, he had that cancer, and I've never seen him closing his eyes when he sings this song. It's hard for him to sing, and he didn't sing his best and you can see, that he just couldn't sing so good, but it's still wonderful, no one could sing even this good how he just sang.
There's always a tear in my eye. I keep looking at him, at every move he makes with his large body, coarse and tender face, every sound he makes, and then it hit me - he's perfect in every way! He's perfect no matter how I look at him. Just can't do anything about it, he's perfect!
How can you not fall in love with him and his voice from the very first moment you see and hear him singing? I think you could fall in love with him even if you saw him eating, that's how great he is.
I first heard Pavarotti when I was only four years old and my world was never the same after that. Thank you Pavarotti for introducing this boy to the wonderful world of classical music, may you sing with the angels forevermore.

Lo bonito, dejando de lado la peazo de voz que tiene que es increible) es que el tio se emociona con todas y cada una de las notas de esta cancion, y te transmite esa emocion a cada poro de tu piel, hasta conseguir que los pelos se pongan como escarpias. Increible!!
