Strawberries in December in North Spain (I WISH). We grow hydroponic strawberries here, red and white ones.

@@JacobsBackyardGardening The strawberry house is a polytunnel with solar for the water and air pumps, the white strawberries (snow white) grow very well in it.

What months do they grow in Perth WA.. my plants @ $4 a shot always dry up and die on me.. a l so Bunnings don't sell them with runners. :(

Great video! I used the runner tip from one of your older videos to start a strawberry patch this year and from 2 plants I now have 7! What do you do with your strawberries over winter? Do you leave them in the styrofoam box until next spring/summer?

I’ve got my patch planted & becoming established but they’re being attacked by grasshoppers, any tips?
I personally haven't had any problems with grass hoppers, but you could make a netted cage by using some wire/thin bamboo stakes to make a frame and then cover it with fruit tree netting.
Otherwise I've hear that garlic spray works well as a repellent, which you can spray onto your plants
