Hey SSC-san. :). I can dig your enthusiasm being outdoors in the bush. Being on PEI now, we don’t have those amazing NWO lakes. I am 100% the same, absolutely love being in the bush. The sights, smells, sounds, new things to see. Walks, building trail, cutting and hauling firewood, it’s all as though I were 10 years old having fun. Sometimes I can convince others in my house to join in and they always enjoy it, but it’s rare, haha.
@@SurvivalScout2024funny story. In Texas I told a friend a little Ontario factoid. I said, You know, Ontario is 1.7 X larger than Texas? He replied “Yeah, but nobody lives there.” 😂
I've had a few rifles in my time. Of course Lee Enfields 303 lots of fun. Civilling brands Bruno Ruger. I went through pretty much every military surplus semi when they were cheap Rashid, Jugman, CZ 52 and 52 57, FN 49. It was a good teen and 20s hunting target shooting. There were 243 Winchester about built on Lee Enfield actions and 303/243 all those hunting calibres necking down 303 cases. Mauser 110° Lee Enfield 60° movement. Obviously Lee is faster which I think would be handier. Especially with bears where you might want your 2nd shot fast if you screwed up. I don't shoot anymore so it's not here nor there for me. But I think a Scout type hunting rifly/range plinker, with a Lee 60° bolt turn, running AR 15 mags would be a winner 🏆. Obviously a standard AR mag you'd run 10 maybe a 10 Rd mag come with it. And it'd not take much tinkering for a manufacture to make a lighter gauge wire spring to run 15 or 20 out of an AR mag. Take any AR mag plug and play. That 60° certainly paid off getting an extra pug or 2 fast when you came across a decent amount of them. Which is where I thought of that 303 1 mag a 2nd mag would have been handy
@@davidleonard1813 Black Bears get pretty skiddish, wolves almost are more of a concern. But so far in the miles I’ve scouted over the years, I’ve never had an encounter. Once I startled a black bear and he ran off.
@SurvivalScout2024 interesting. Here, pigs will attack you. And contrary to popular belief, kangaroos don't lol. That rarity is basically 1 buck who has a few does and its mating season. And even then it's very rare, most just hop off with the does

@@bugoutbrad8395 Thanks brother! It was awesome to find this other trail!
Great video. I wish we had bush like that here in the niagara region.
@@paulmorin3400 Thank you brother! I’ve never been on that side. This province is so huge, a guy couldn’t even explore it all in a lifetime!
