This was an experiment I tried for a few months in the Spring. I don’t use this system anymore as I’ve switched to an LBE and Ruck system. These pouches can be found at cpgear.com/
That's a patrol 'super pack' set up! Like most civilians without a unit SOP you streamlined what works for you. That's a great pack! I use either the good ol' medium ALICE with and without frame or a MOLLE medium rucksack - both approximately same capacity. As an older 'scout' myself I also look for ways to keep the weight down. Live in the desert though and need to carry significant water - adds up fast. Don't care for chest rigs - usually wear ALICE LBE harness/belt but use an LBV-88E and an FLC sometimes. I have a few US Army MOLLE large rucks and an old Kelty external frame pack but haven't set them up yet for winter. I do hunt in the mountains occasionally. That's a Canadian forces ruck you're wearing?
@@paul7754 Yes, that’s correct my friend. It’s a Canadian Forces Musette Pack I think it is called. I was pretty fortunate to find it on eBay a few years back. I’ve got a Multicam ruck that I’m going to setup similar to this video. Currently I’m running a CADPAT LBE and this ruck together. Which has been working pretty good for me. Thanks for sharing some of your experience! Awesome! Thanks!
Thats really informative that brother i stack my belt similar to this... minus any mags though i use mag pouches for utility because obviously in the UK we cant have fire arms ....
Hunting season has just started in the UK so i think i might get out and see about getting some rabbits and pheasants only sustainable hunting tho. Iv always been ethical like leaving anything i dont use for the foxes
@SurvivalScout2024 really your kidding me pheasant is my fave its much taster than chicken and rabbit tastes like gamey meat but without the gamey taste of venison Id highy recomend both although you dont get much from one bunny
@@SurvivalScout2024 you are welcome when I was down in Vancouver in August I went to a military surplus store and got a rate in the rain notepad and a shooting doup book to
@@kiangtactical I had a look at your UA-cam channel and your Multicam pack is quite interesting 👍. Some great features on it. Plus your padded hip belt looks great. survivalscout2024@gmail.com is my channel email. Thanks for watching my content!

@@paul7754 PATROL SUPER PACK…sounds like a good video to make for my Multicam ruck!
That's a nice setup Scout. For a minimal kit. Keep your fingers out your nose. And your powder bag
closed. Lol. Thanks for the video bro. Cheers 🍻
I have a large Multicam ruck that I might convert to this setup again. It makes it pretty functional for a winter load out.

@@RoughWalkers I like how this setup will work for a bushcraft/scouting and I’m going to switch a Multicam pack to this.
