those rubber bands wont last too long, maybe a week, then got to pull it all apart again, I purchased a mod that eliminates the little boot so when the rubber bans break your only need to replace them without pulling the whole thing apart, also I use the multi-colored cloth ones girls use in their hair, last a looong time!
Get a rubber ring, unscrew the right and left screws a little, and attach the rubber ring to them while the stick is inside the rubber ring. No need to take off anything.
1. its not hidden at all u made it urself 2. u dont need it as almost every racing wheel has sequencial pedals 3. not everyone has a 3d printer (even tho i have) 4. u didnt put a link to the .stl or .gcode file 5. modding a shifter to a sequential is nonsense just use automatic
Just gonna say this because I think your response is idiotic and ignorant to a basic understanding of sim racing, drifting, rallying, or just driving cars in general. Clearly. 1. How does that make sense? It's hidden under the shifter boot. Just because you make something yourself doesn't mean it's not "hidden" wtf is your logic there? 2. When you're drifting and your paddles are upside down, they're useless. And no, don't assume anyone has 'sequencial pads' (you mean Sequential*) 3. Well that's a shame since it's now 2023 and they're very accessible, and there are plenty of online print-for-hire services. If you can just pull plastic shapes out of your arse, then go for it. But people need to have some expectation a 3d printer will be required for this kind of shit. 4. I do agree they should've put a link to the files in the description, yes. 5. "just use automatic" my dude, do you even drive a car? Do you drift? Do you do rallying? Do you do 4wding? In what world would "just use automatic" be good advice when you're sim-racing anything? Doing an online Learner test, sure...barreling into a corner doing a reverse entry with 3 cars in tandem behind you? Good luck doing that with just automatic lol. Just because you're a casual gamer probably considering Forza a racing simulator, doesn't mean there aren't people out there who are more dedicated to the hobby. yea, I definitely have a 3d printer 💀
was gonna say the same shit 😂💀💀
@@CodyNett-rq9yp the only place I have libraries is school 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Just send the .stl to a printing company, or if you know a guy
Get a rubber ring, unscrew the right and left screws a little, and attach the rubber ring to them while the stick is inside the rubber ring.
dude. some sheet metal and voila´
Bro just loosen the screws on the left and right side of the cover and use that to hold the rubber bands lmao
Yes but this solution is more neat
you could do this by just spinning a switch in the g25's shifter, logitech is just downgrading from generation to generation
Not to mention the programmable buttons on the old shifter - it had so much more functionality
I understand why truck sim guys go for the old shifter
@@HPsawus yeah better
Fr the old was great
Can u use the g25 shifter with a g27?
@@420aceprob. u can
Cool idea 👌
Using large O-Rings are a better option then rubber bands as they are alot stronger just an idea as thats what i use and 1 O-Ring is enough
Best way to do it. If you use rubber bands on top of the boot. Then it will pull the boot down and jam it.

Best mod to upgrade manual is just use it rotated
I pushed the boot down and used a plastic tie strap to keep it down. It keeps it in sequential mode.
When you took the shift knob off was there a black adapter over the metal screw hole.
just get a used g25 shifter
Greay mod ❤😊
If yall hate the Logitech shifter to much being manual why do you buy it then😭
That’s great until you want a normal shifter again😂
Then just remove it
JAJAJA Yo si consegui emular cambios secuencuales a cambios en H, para no tener la palanca como secuencial
Do you got the stl file for me to print? thx a lot
Or just get a new knob with more switches
Link to stl?
"Hidden" you mean "Printed"
Wow
I suppose this isn't hidden and is in actual fact, DIY
Does that damage the sifter
Yep I would rather buy the thrustmaster sequential shifter that’s also a handbrake and save myself those few thousand dollars
lol. silly person you are. just get rubberbands and pinch them
Is the sequential shifter thing just built in?? Is the sequential style just built in or do you need to change some settings?
bind 3/4th to up and down gears
It's that ez
Can you give me a stl file pls
can you still use the other gears?
When you take it off, yes lol
@@seppo2032 haha

The bands snap I have tried, and it's OK at first
That can happen alright, if you have any o rings lying around they do hold up a lot better 🙂
Try lubricant on the rubber bands/orings might extend their life
But there isn’t a Bind for neutral ?
It can be turned off
If you change to where your upshift is 4th and your downshift is 3rd, it’ll be like an sequential
why change the shifter
Why not?
I'm so confused on how this works
so you bind 3rd and 4th gear..to change down and up
@@LawsOnJoystickwhat does this mean 😭

automatic lol
you can build this out of sheet metal and simple tools
Bruh just use the paddles, whats the point in getting a H shifter if your not gonna use it
drifting and paddles dont work
There's more than 1 car you know. Lol
fake :DD
