MUST are asking something that they don’t really deserve. Delusional lot they are. All we as Manchester United fans want are owners who give a damn about the club and to make it successful again.
The guest is clearly naive but the sentiment behind what he is saying is bang on, surprised that pretty much every comment seems to back “owner can do what he likes ‘cos it’s his money”. Forgetting of course we’re talking about countries now… One of the reasons why United continued to decay was the plastic “fans” continuing to hand over money to the Glazers. If a new owner knew they had to engage and work with supporters in order to keep the value of his asset then the club would be a lot healthier and stronger in the long-term.
A fan base that call there team "United" will always be deluded the club is in a mess top to bottom and they think the Newcastle owners will sell up to buy them sums up Manchester United fans 😂😂😂😂
There is nobody here who wants the Saudis. We are United...nobody thinks of Newcastle or West Ham when somebody says United. United doing badly is bigger news than Newcastle winning a league. They have 50k fans worldwide, 6k at home under Ardiles. Worst fairweather fans around. Even boo'd Bobby Robson the scumbags.
5:09 and that’s what people like Chris don’t get, you aren’t the customers anymore. Advertisers/sponsors are. Take all those supporters groups, add them together and they don’t cover half the revenue of what one company buying advertising space at Old Trafford does. The TV revenue from overseas is potentially going to quadruple in the next 3 years (depending on certain deals happening) and the implied corporate sponsorship opportunities will be enormous. The idea that anyone is buying an established Premier League club to get £100 out of 70000 rotund poor (relative term when we’re talking about billionaire’s) people like Chris once every two weeks (in 2022) is absurd thinking.

Football clubs will liase with fans and then do what they were going to do all along. Like one of those steering wheels you stick on the back of tbe seat to make your child think they are driving.
Another London Man United fan. It's pathetic.
That way of thinking is what is pathetic
The hilarity of someone who's clearly not from Manchester saying it's a community asset. How's it your community from the home counties lad? If you want a community asset, support your local teams
That dude is way out of his depth. If he can’t get one up on Simon there’s no way a buyer of Utd would be swayed by him.
This guy is in lala-land. Nobody spends 6billion to let fans run it to the ground ..
I took the advice of this amazing gentleman.
I am now proud to say I own a 2% stake in my local barbers and they will not be buying new clippers without my approval.
Simon tells it how it is
Thanks Simon 👏🙌 good to have someone who managed a club before
Supporter's Trust struggling so hard for relevancy.
MUST are asking something that they don’t really deserve. Delusional lot they are. All we as Manchester United fans want are owners who give a damn about the club and to make it successful again.
People like this dude is yet another thing wrong with this world. People wanting everything for nothing.😂🤦♂️
love jim, simon and Danny . great lads , talk sense , could listen for hrs
Chris can't see or touch his toes yet he wants to be on the board of a £6 billion plus pound corporation. Lol
I'm a customer of Tesco, can I have a seat on the board please? Oh and a free trolly dash every week. 🤣
Simon Jordan is a breath of fresh air 👍👍👍
The guest is clearly naive but the sentiment behind what he is saying is bang on, surprised that pretty much every comment seems to back “owner can do what he likes ‘cos it’s his money”. Forgetting of course we’re talking about countries now…
One of the reasons why United continued to decay was the plastic “fans” continuing to hand over money to the Glazers. If a new owner knew they had to engage and work with supporters in order to keep the value of his asset then the club would be a lot healthier and stronger in the long-term.
You can't demand someone who spends billions on a company to do anything 😂😂😂😂
@Danny Tallmage someone got a sad life here 🤣🤣. Imagine going around spreading hate online yet has no balls to say it in public
Speak when told, boy
Udd fan here. What MUST are demanding is ridiculous
A fan base that call there team "United" will always be deluded the club is in a mess top to bottom and they think the Newcastle owners will sell up to buy them sums up Manchester United fans 😂😂😂😂
How does calling your club "united" make you delusional?
Man Utd are coming back, people like yourself can’t accept it. New owners is the biggest piece of puzzle and we need the right one.
@@eth9334 because my friend there are plenty of other teams called "United" what about Leeds, West Ham and the biggest United Newcastle?
There is nobody here who wants the Saudis.
We are United...nobody thinks of Newcastle or West Ham when somebody says United.
United doing badly is bigger news than Newcastle winning a league.
They have 50k fans worldwide, 6k at home under Ardiles.
Worst fairweather fans around.
Even boo'd Bobby Robson the scumbags.
@@laurenceevans6742 You still didn't answer the question? Why does the fan shortening the name of their club make them delusional?
MUST are the most arrogant fans group ever. Who do they think they are, you're fans that's it. Nothing more nothing less
I just love this so much, I could listen to it all day. I want owners and owner adjacent groups to start treating these "supporter" unions exactly the way they are treated by them. 😂
I hope the new owners represent the fans and build Manchester United back into the best club in the world 🏆🏆🏆
He’s absolutely schooled this clown 😂
Sounds like when he’s talking about having a fan on the board he’s talking about himself 😂
A lot of our fans don't know what they want anyway. It constantly changes. I just want owners who aren't here to bleed us dry and who also appoint best in class people to run the club for them like City's owners did.
1 billion and £200 million spent You do understand The Glazers own the business it is all owned by them. Ask a grown up to explain it to you

Simon gave him a well deserved lecture. If a club was run like Man united fans wanted they would be bankrupt
They do not represent united fans at all. MUST are completely out of touch
Exactly, they the fans are the 1's demanding start signings and after they flop, call out the owners for bad investments. Hypocrisy, I say
@@UnitedLoyalist why we criticise the Glazers is because they just sign whoever is popular at the time. It has been generally better over the last 2 summers so I wouldn’t complain too much about transfers anymore. The main issue now is that Old Trafford has been left to turn into a tip and our training facilities are fairly average for a premier league club. Leicester have better training facilities than us just with the money we gave them for Harry Maguire ffs
@@stevendonovan7564 The fans would never be pleased with them so why bother splashing the cash! Similar to Mike Ashley at Newcastle, money was never going to be spent on facilities/youth as every penny has to go on the pitch because the fanbase is too demanding
@@interstellarbeatteller9306 the match going United fans aren’t that demanding. All we want is investment in Old Trafford and the training facilities for the men and women which the owner may have to get a loan for or invest some of their own money. Get footballing people in charge of making football decisions and have a consistent way of playing that aligns with our values of attacking football and giving youth a chance. Besides the stadium development, the club practically finances itself with how much it makes through revenue
Chris doesn't sound too bright....

A club like United should be like Madrid Bayern Barca...with no owner..money from fans, contracts, sponsors etc..United is big enough to do that...
lmao these people are delusional
What Simon is not talking about is that without fans there is no club............ Even though he is correct in what he is saying clubs rely on fans to stay afloat whether they like it or not............ Any owner has to please the fans whether they like it or not mate..............

Yeah because Jordan is a really successful football club owner!

@@pauljones8218 Really ?? Where did you read this ?
Not really successful but considering he got his boyhood club into the premier league in his mid 30's and was the youngest owner and chairman in the country at one point I'd say he's achieved more than most of us could dream of doing
I'm a ST holder and lifelong United fan, but MUST make me fucking cringe. They need to get real.
If you united fans think turning away from the Glazers will be a great new beginning then just you wait, you'll deeply regret getting rid of them.
No we definitely won't. There's rules the FA have put in place to stop owners running clubs like the glazers. It's basically impossible in the state we are in to get worse owners. I have no idea what could make you think united would be worse off with different owners. The glazers bought the club on debt and didn't invest a single penny of their own money into the infrastructure of the club... maybe have a rethink

Only problem i have with Simon is the arrogance, and cuting people off as they gather their toughts, you could rip someone a bit more respectfully for the sake of conversation. What i get is everyone is stupid and only his view is right. And that's arguable. There are companies in the world that are success story that are driven by the employees no directors, others has employee representatives on the Board. Barça that is a much more successfull club than man u , their fans has a pivotal role in chosing their president. to english football is english and thats it!
