Amazing place! Thank you for the video, Mike! My husband and I together with our 3 children are thinking of moving to Alberta next year ( from Ontario). We’ll be in touch soon! All the best!
Glad it was helpful! And no problem, feel free to reach out if you have any questions. 🙂
Did you move? And was it worth it?
@@MarkHuynh7 unfortunately, due to family issues we couldn’t make the move! Still in Ontario!
I have only one question about the video - why such a great content has so few views?🤔
Appreciate that! 🙂 It was just uploaded less than 24 hours ago so we’ll see.
Love your videos man! thinking of moving my family to Alberta, Vancouver Island is becoming unaffordable to live 😢😢
Really appreciate hearing that they are helpful! Alberta isn’t perfect but it sure is easier to actually build a life here because of the affordability. I just finished shooting and am now editing an epic 5 Best Cities In Alberta video.
@@AllThingsRealEstate looking forward to your next video. I lived in Calgary 2000-2001 and loved it out there, my wife also grew up in Calgary till she was 16. It’s definitely calling us back!
@@madizmo I should have it done in about a week. Calgary made the top 5. 😉
Why is your channel so underrated 😮
Just saying, don’t stop doing this. You’ll be blowing up on UA-cam very soon and the vast library of great videos already on the channel will all be bringing in tons of views all together when you do! 🤞🏼
Really appreciate the kinds words, very nice of you to say that. 🙂
Hi Mike, I hope you are well! I started following your channel motivated by my family's anticipation of moving to St Albert. We watched a video from 2 years ago on your channel about the pros and cons of living in St Albert. The part that worried us the most was about robberies of cars, houses/garages, etc.
Could you please let us know how this situation is, and crimes in general, now in 2022?
We appreciate your attention and wish you all the best!
Thanks for reaching out! It’s annoying but quite petty crime in nature. I wouldn’t say that I have personally experienced it getting better, or worse. I do see from time to time still in neighbourhood Facebook groups that people are reporting such crimes.
Hi like, thanks for this videos,I think to move with my family to saint Albert, what renting houses, what about prices,?
Glad to hear you found the video helpful! Renting is quite affordable as well but pricing really depends on what you’re looking for. It can be as low as $500 for a room in a house, to $3,000+ for an entire house.
All be in touch
Happy to answer any questions about St. Albert. 🙂
TAXES
Yeah, they suck here! 👎
Can we bike all year round in st albert?
Some people do yes! I’ve seen people with regular bikes and tires, but a lot of people in the Winter have those fat tire bikes, or studded tires.
Great video mate. Exceptional explanation!
@@mariocyril8948 Appreciate that! 🙂
Hi. Can you please tell us your opinion about rise of crime rate in last 2 years? Especially becouse its close to North West Edmonton. Story about teen stabing in 137 ave and two girls stabing in their houseis horrible.
I also saw those two very sad incidents in the news. They were quite unsettling for the community here because violent crimes of that nature are extremely uncommon in St. Albert. As far as I understood from the police reports, they were very much isolated events where the people involved were known to each other and not random attacks. 😔
Did you see my 7 Pros & Cons of St. Albert video? In that video I touch on the crime being mostly petty, and it still very much is. It seems to be worse since making that video a few years ago. People are constantly posting Ring camera clips in the St. Albert Facebook group chat of people checking their vehicle doors if they are unlocked, porch pirates etc. A lot of it is even in broad day light. The swimming pool lockers here are a haven for theft. I was personally a victim where they broke into my locked locker and stole my phone/wallet. 👎
Overall though, St. Albert is very safe!
