I absolutely enjoy when a comedian doesn't pull any punches but does it in a purely professional hilarious way! Nothing but love but poking fun is absolutely the best! On a serious note I'm perplexed that not one African American has EVER enslaved a white? Not one. For revenge against the racists in the South after Emancipation. Are we sure? Just desserts. Not saying I'd want it to have happened. I'm white AF so I got...ahem...skin in the game...but it would make for an interesting show or movie. Check out Manhunt which is about the search for the vile racist who killed Lincoln. It's an excellent show. And please react to Katt Williams new special Woke Foke!
This is an hilarious bit. I love Andrew Schultz. I'm African American and I don't think this at all. Why the perplexity? Slavery was legal and practiced throughout most of the world for centuries, not just in America. So if I want examples where people of darker hue, (e.g Moors) enslaved people of lighter hue , (e,g Europeans) history is rife with them. So we're good there I think, if we were to apply such simplistic numbers games to history.
It was the practice of SLAVERY ITSELF that was declared illegal after the worst war in our Nations history. And since then, no WHITE person, (in theory) has legally enslaved a BLACK person.
Slavery, (again in theory) is DONE, Yes, obviously effects linger but as the years and eventually the centuries, go by, (will be two in 2065) and the generations increment, those will continue to fade.
As Prince said, "I don't wan't to know, why those before us hated each other- I'd rather believe they never did..."
I cant logically look at a white person living TODAY and blame them for stuff or want revenge for things our ancestors did. That always seemed silly to me.
The primary goal, (which we have been working on ever since with varying degrees of success) is moving forward for all hues together and viewing ourselves as equals NOW, not looking backwards for reasons to separate us, or finding reasons to hate in the past.
So I would never want ANY one of ANY hue, especially one of my fellow country folk, to be enslaved. WHY?
That's so 18th century. Its 2024, a whole new millennium!
