We come here to watch you be yourself and do as you have always done. Yes im sure some folks want you to change, and that may add a few more views but i think if you stay true to yourself it will keep growing as it has over the last few years and if you would change that you may have more ppl leave than are added. Then again it is your art and your time and your video so you do as you see fit. I will always watch as i find you and your art fascinating.

Thanks! Hello Stuart! Thanks for posting this one! Perhaps this little gift will pay for more paper towels-or a nice glass of wine! Thanks again!

The commentary is very engaging, helpful, and humorous. Listening to one’s own voice we tend to not quite have the objectivity of a listener of course. It’s generally a lot easier for a self-examining person to be extra critical. Not an altogether bad thing ultimately but I suppose it’s a bit of a mild paradox? Thanks for the work you do.

Stuart in all honesty you have a very soothing voice - i actually feel calmed watching your videos and not stressed out as I do from some others.

Thanks for another fine tutorial Stuart.
Love black & white paintings although you used only black.
Marvellous what can be done with a bit of imagination.
Hope you’re keeping well. See you next time.😎🇦🇺🦘

Nice one, Stu, nice and simple. But (there's always a 'but', with me, as you know), from 0:45 onwards, I couldn't help seeing the face of a 'Clown', with a big left ear, and wearing a hat (NO!, not you), :o) as it's on the tree, of the original painting, that kept popping up. It's easy to spot, now, as it's in the middle of the tree. Easy to spot for me, that is, with my vivid & twisted imagination. We all know you hate seeing faces in the clouds, but, as it's not in the sky, is this one staying? And as for talking too much, we learn from seeing AND hearing, mate, so, that's your answer!!! :o) P.S. Some might see Dobby (from Harry Potter), and not a Clown? :o)

    Stuart,
Amazing. I was, as so many are, a Bob Ross initiate. When I 1st viewed your work, I did not get it. That does not look real, etc. Then I watched you and was I wrong. May not be real, but it is real art. Truly. The only change I would like to see is more long beginning to end paintings. And yes, I watch them completely. Several times as I paint. I would love to show you my representations of your work if I knew how to send you photos.
    Again, Amazing. Thank you sir!

If intresting is bothering you, you can say noticeable, somewhat satisfactory, slightly disturbing, etc..but a point of intrest that needs attention causes intrest. I'd say let the words as unedited as the brushwork. Its all good for me. The details of the process keeps me "intrested".

I painted along with this using an A4 oil pad, which was too small. Having trouble lifting the paint with the twisted paper & wondering if it’s the texture of the paper surface that is the problem. Am I right in thinking that Stuart uses wooden panels for painting?

Sull' web...ci sono molti bravi, ma tu invece non sei bravo, ma magico ed insostituibile....quel medium alk'inizio era olio di lino, oppure una miscela fi oil lino e trenentina?
    Grazie e un grande uuuuuaaaawwwww

Coppicing is cutting a tree trunk down to near ground level and pollarding is cutting a tree trunk above ground level. Yes, I am annoying.

Trimming the ends of main branches actually. You don't allow tertiary branching.

Quite interesting to see how you worked this out but I wish you had left a puddle in the south-west area as you had in mind yourself. Water is always very refreshing.

Is it just me or does the original painting have the tree growing around 2 people or am i just seeing that from a trick of the mind and light.

Ps i believe we all hate the sound of our own voice especially when recorded for some reason it sounds funny to our own ear.
