Awesome review on the lowering springs! Glad to see you are happy with the new look and satisfied with the quality of our springs. Wish you the best with the new build!
This is extremely close to how I want to do my N line when I get it! I’d personally add anti this with wheel spacers to tighten up the fitment, and If I could remove the actual Hyundai badge on the rear I would. Everything else on this thing is perfect tho!!!
I've thought about the rear badge but haven't looked into it since the rear trunk button is INSIDE of the Hyundai badge lol. Crazy. Also, I agree about the spacers but am holding off because I want to buy some wheels that have the fitment already.
Yes sir. Just waiting on people to make the parts. I know the BOV is already able to be done but I don't want to get the same thing everyone else is rushing to right now lol
Are you still liking the springs? I'm about to pull the trigger on these. My N Line is on 20mm spacers which look great, but I'm still wanting it to sit lower. I'm local to San Diego like you as well!
@@Chayness Awesome thank you! I'm 90% sure I saw you driving near Costco in San Marcos on Sunday. I live right by there and your car looked really nice.
I would assume they use a different model for their Struts and Shocks but I don't see why? I'd ask a dealer if the part numbers are different. If they are.... there's your answer. If they're the same.... these should work.
It's slightly stiffer but still very much comfortable. You do notice the difference right away but after a few days, it's unnoticeable and feels well planted yet still comfy and not bouncy.
It hasn't gotten any lower but i'll measure it once more this weekend and get back to you. The ride is the same. Still comfy. My shocks still work lol. Not super rough and it handles much better. Last year I took it to a cruise that was a bit demanding and the car didn't stress. If you're not trying to get full coilovers, I highly recommend these.
That chrome delete makes it looks a million times better. May I ask what that cost you? I just picked up mine yesterday and the chrome is pretty terrible. Lol
The chrome delete with the LED strip tinting cost me $200. I could had done it myself but I wanted to show some support to my local vinyl shop. I know they're slammed with work but it was a little show of support haha
@Michael ****** Correct but I didn't want to buy the ebay ones because they stick on meaning that the body lines would no longer be flush. You'd have the stick on vents stick out a bit from the body and I didn't want that.
I don't. Spring installs require a special tool and if not done correctly could lead to serious injury or death. For that reason I personally took it to a friend at the dealership.
Springs were just shy of $300 and the labor was done by a friend I have at a dealer who charged me $200 for install and alignment. Labor on this alone might be about $300ish.
Depends on how strict the dealer is. Again, my local dealer said "bolt ons" don't void warranty BUT being honest, lowering your car will cause accelerated wear and tear of things like shocks or bushings so I wouldn't expect something like that to be warrantied.
@@jgosh81 That's understandable but this video is one about lowering springs. Not sure if you intend to do other things to the car but keep in mind some things will probably end up voiding warranty.

@@Chayness what??? Where
I de-badged the sonata logo off of the back of mine and wanted to do the Hyundai logo but was worried about the trunk button as well…
Are you going to do intake and exhaust? BOV?

I'm still using these springs and I absolutely love them! No complains and nothing bad to report.

@@independentmind85 You would be correct lol and thank you for the compliment haha
Question, I wanna lower my 2023 Hyundai Sonata but should I get coilovers or spring and coilovers thy all expensive
I love how you made the chrome around the windows and down onto the headlights black. What did you use? Is it wrapped or painted? Sick car man!
The chrome is wrapped black with the front chrome/LED piece with dark tint so it matches the vinyl but the LED's still shine through.
@Michael ****** HEYY NO WAY I HAVE THE SAME COLOR AND MADE THE RIMS BLACK!!
can you show the drl on
@@esraadiraki2518 I love the n-line rims is it as simple as just getting them painted black? I really want them black
Looks nice..!! Please could you tell why is not available for hybrid models.?

So how you like them them still? I think shark racing has a set to. I wanna see the difference.
I love them. While coilovers would be better, the fact I can take more aggressive turns now feels much better.
How did you remove the front bumper corner air vents to paint?
What brand are the wind guards I saw you said from eBay but what brand and are they tape on or in channel
They are 3M adhesive (double sided tape) and the name of the company was "Safe"
Chaynees you mentioned that you wish the rear end of the N-line Sonata is missing an N-line badge . Bought mine on Ebay for about 12 bucks.
Oh I did the same but I was just stating it SHOULD have came with it stock lol
i have a 21 limited on 20s and want to go inch lower. do these fit on a limited? and how how did it lower the car
After installing those lowering springs how does it ride
It's slightly stiffer but still very much comfortable. You do notice the difference right away but after a few days, it's unnoticeable and feels well planted yet still comfy and not bouncy.
Where did you get the vinyl to delete the chrome trim? Thanks in advance
Any updates ? curious to see or know how the springs settled if it got any lower ? tempted to buy these

@@Chayness I leased mine but around $200 might be worth spending to get rid of that chrome.
@@1pt21gw And the best part is that it's easily removable so no harm there.
@@Chayness that’s very true. I might even see about getting the door handles maybe color matched red if possible. Lol
Did you put visors on your nata? If so where'd you get it from
Yes, I got them off of Ebay but make sure to look for the Auto Clover Korean brand ones
Where did you get the black side vents? The ones right by the front tires
They're actually "spray" wrapped with this product called Superwrap
@Michael ****** Correct but I didn't want to buy the ebay ones because they stick on meaning that the body lines would no longer be flush. You'd have the stick on vents stick out a bit from the body and I didn't want that.
Do you have any idea when 2022 veloster coming out?
Veloster is done until 3rd Gen possibly. 2022 will only have Veloster N as an option.
Where’d you get these springs from? I’m looking for some
Absolutely beautiful car!!!
Thank you sir!
Do you have a video of the actual install?
I don't. Spring installs require a special tool and if not done correctly could lead to serious injury or death. For that reason I personally took it to a friend at the dealership.
Looks great 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
Thank you for this video I have a 2022 N line all black. I am looking for Springs those would be the ones for me not too low thank you
Yea I greatly like these and I recently got to put them through their paces at a local Cruise and they performed amazingly well!
I noticed that you said the ride is nice, what about cornering?
Cornering is much better. I wouldn't say it's quite the same as coilovers but there's waaaaay less body roll and a lot more rigidity.
@@Chayness That was my concern the body roll. Good to know. Thanks
That thang cleannn
Thanks bro! Appreciate it!
Where did you get your wind deflectors?
Ebay lol
How much did the springs + labor cost for u??
Springs were just shy of $300 and the labor was done by a friend I have at a dealer who charged me $200 for install and alignment. Labor on this alone might be about $300ish.
Add spacers have the wheels a lil more flush👌
Oh man I know! lol but i'm looking into a different wheel set eventually.
Spacers for the original wheels... I will do it and I've also ordered my springs.... What width spacers would you guys use?
Looking sweet my friend
Thank you sir!
Need spacers on the rear
was your tint ??
My tint is 2% all around except the front windows being one shade down so it's not as dark. They're all full ceramic tint.
wait so what the front windows
@@dezjackson3707 Apologies, tint is 5% all around and 15% in the front
Probably get voided warranty on suspension drive train?

Thanks bro!
Did you repaint the front bumper corner vents?
Yes, I used this new spray on vinyl product called Superwrap
