I've heard many great things about the versed retinol eye cream, but since I'm very happy with my the ordinary 2% granactive retinoid, I haven't tried any other retinol products. The retinol body lotion sounds interesting though, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It is the one product I was most intrigued about, to be honest. I never used a retinoid on my body.

Thank you Dr Anne, I'm so over the 'clean' formula claims as well by the way. I do love vegan formulas however for ethical reasons. The versed marketing team seems to really try to get people's attention with a product name like doctors visit mask. It sounds very tempting to buy and try out. My skin could never tolerate additional exfoliating products while using tretinoin at night unfortunately but I wonder if there are benefits from very mild exfoliating products like the mask. Your skin looks radiant and beautiful as always!

I guess a little that you can tolerate is better than a lot you can't tolerate, so if you are curious, go for it and then tell me if it made a difference to your skin.

I have bought/received a few new products recently:
    - PS… skin 10% azelaic acid (primark)
    - Lacura 2% BHA toner (aldi)
    - simple 10% niacinamide (smells like popcorn)
    - Vichy liftactiv vitamin c (smells like toast)
The Vichy was a gift and I was shocked by how expensive it is but I don’t really like geek and gorgeous since the reformulation because of the smell.

I didn't really notice a change in smell?

@@DoctorAnne I must be sensitive to the particular scent. It sticks on my hands too and I struggle to wash it off

@@DoctorAnne the primark azelaic acid is actually quite good. Very basic, seems to be trying to do a Paula’s choice by adding a minute amount of salicylic acid and licorice. It is a cream, silicone heavy but not the ordinary level silicone. I don’t know if the ordinary has fixed their formula but when I used it, it pilled like crazy unless mixed with a watery serum first. And I had bad trouble with 15% Rx azelaic acid drying out my skin. This definitely helps chill out the redness without being too drying (OD). People who want elegant formulas probably won’t like it. It isn’t gritty but it is a step away from being so. But if products like this existed when I was a teen, I probably would have been able to prevent my skin getting so bad with the flushing

@@moose8762 If all that knowledge available now would have been at my fingertips as a teen, I would have made much better choices back then for sure!
