I recorded the PPV on VHS and literally watched it sooooooo many times that by around 2002 the damn tape was so worn out, it squealed, flickered and was almost unwatchable lol. I love this podcast. Every single episode is fucking killer. I used to love going to my local video store and renting Extreme Fighting. You guys also mentioned World Combat Championship, which was an interesting event. As a 1st Degree BJJ Black Belt who LOVES every grappling style, it would be a HUGE honor to train with Igor or John P. I would have loved to see Igor vs Rickson.....or Igor vs Sakuraba. You guys are killing it!!!!!!

Ok so all due respect their were no rules! Head butts were aloud, how do you think I finished Tommy Glanville an hour earlier that night. Hell even holding the cage was legal. It was the stoppage and restart of the fight which was wrong. It was said in the rules meeting if the fight is stopped for a cut the fight is over the guy with the cut looses. P.S If you look closely I protest as the ref came over to me and says we are restarting the fight, I clearly go no it's over. Then they don't start me in the position I was in when they stopped the fight. I did train for those fights but understand I could have stayed all night on top and never gassed. Wrestlers are good at that. I got tired when they took that break and everything caught up to me. I had since then been in 30 minute fights. IVC 5.
