This MOC is an alternate build of the 42114 Volvo Articulated Hauler.
It is a model of a John Deere 9620 R with a grain cart. This setup is used to unload combine harvester on the go in the field. The MOC features a 3 speed gearbox with additional 4th gear that drives the power take off (PTO) in the back of the tractor.
The model is fully remote controlled using all 3 motors and the control+ hub of the 42114 set.
It uses 1950 parts that are included in the 42114 set.
In addition to that, you can chose to add working headlights and dual wheels to the model. These options however are requiring additional parts (but just the lights, rims and tyres).

Your purchase will include detailed building instructions as well as instructions on how to set up the app "Powered Up" and "Brickcontroller 2" as well as instructions on how to install the Pybricks firmware with a custom code for the model on the control+ hub to control the model.

Hi. Amazing project👍💪. I think I'll have it. And would you be able to make a self-unloading trailer instead of a grain trailer? Would it be enough bricks? It would be an interesting alternative and also a lot of fun in loading, transporting and unloading goods. What's up with that?
Thank you very much for your nice words. Do you mean something like a tipper Trailer? Yes I think that would bei doable with the bricks left over after building the tractor. I decided to go with the grain cart to create a Blogger difference to the original model. Also that gave the opportunity to integrate two instead of one function into the trailer. Another reason was to get this moc closer to my other MOC, the combine harvester... Greetings Lars
@@larshennings2573 Yes. I meant the tipper trailer lifted by the PTO. I want to give this set to my godson as a Christmas gift (of course, officially it would be from Santa😉). For now, he already has a 42114 VOLVO L350F wheel loader by Janek_rysuje and your set with a tipper trailer would fit very well. I would be very grateful if you could do this. You could make a single axle or a two axle trailer.

Can the crop trailer load crops on anything and can the combine harvester can harvest something?
Does this model automatically shift? If yes, does the model stop each time?
@@williamdemler24 The model can shift automatically when using pybricks to control it. It depends on the floor it is driving on if it stops when shifting or not. But it is better than with the original Volvo hauler...

It has some torque especially in first gear. But due to the differentials all wheels have to touch the ground to make it move😉
