  • The RYOBI® 18V ONE+ Cordless Swift Clean Spot Cleaner is the perfect tool for life's little accidents. This video is your step by step guide on how to use the Swift Clean and how to easily deal with spills and remove stains.
    0:05 - Mix Cleaning Solution
Add the detergent solution to the detergent tank and add water at a 4:1 ratio (Water:Detergent). Once done, connect the detergent tank to the swift clean.
    0:22 - Vacuuming A Spill
It is important to vacuum any surface liquid from the spill. To do this you need to press the on button, press the front squeegee of the Swift Clean down onto the surface as you pull it back over the stain. This will vacuum any liquid on the surface into the Swift Clean's tank.
    0:39 - Spray Cleaning Solution
The spill you have just vacuumed may have left a stain. To help lift and remove the stain you should spray the cleaning solution you made earlier over the stain.
    0:42 - Agitating The Stain
Powering the brush bar and rubbing it over the stain agitates dirt and debris from the fabric fibres providing a deep and hygienic clean.
    0:52 - Vacuuming The Stain
Now that the cleaning solution has been rubbed in by the brush bar and the stain has been broken down, it is time to vacuum the stain away by switching the Swift Clean on and going over the stain.
0:58 - Disposing Of The Liquid
Once you have finished removing a stain you need to dispose of the liquid you have vacuumed up. Remove the tank and pour the liquid down the drain or into a bin.
1:03 - Tips To Prevent Damage
Never stand or hold the Swift Clean vertically up right to prevent damage.
Make sure to empty the liquid tank when it gets near the MAX level line to ensure it never goes over.
1:16 - Cleaning Your Swift Clean
The detergent tank, liquid tank and squeegee can be removed and rinsed under the tap or put in a dish washer for a deep clean. The brush bar and filter can also be removed and cleaned.

This is very well thought out. Most of the time there's no need for a large machine like a Rug doctor or similar products but it's difficult to find something small for oops moments.
This fits the bill very well.

My Ryobi does not pull up water. Suction is there but weak. Not a drop pulls up. I see all these vids on UA-cam pulling up liquid and I don’t get the same effect. Using solution water mix, aggregating it and then vacuum but nothing. What’s the problem?
