Actually Bugatti and Koenigsegg don’t make their tires. They use Michelin Pilot Sport PAX, which are literally glued to the wheel.
This is spinning freely in the air with no load. Bugatti and Koenigsegg are moving at crazy speeds on the ground tire touching the pavement.

You have to remember the tire is rated that speed with a specific amount of weight on it. Also the weight creates friction and heat. If you remove the weight and heat the speed that it can achieve will be higher.

Well stated. It's always funny til someone gets hurt... The supposedly humorous continuation is ... and then it's hilarious.
Maybe, maybe not, kinda depends on the amount of hurt and that tire spinning at that speed coming unglued or getting loose could bring a world of it, even the ultimate form of it. Well, at least he didn't appear to be standing in the rotational plane, so at least there's that, I suppose. There are YTers that have gotten themselves badly hurt or even killed with stupid stunts already ...

Don’t remember exactly when but I’m thinking late 70s to early 80s F1 cars had portholes so you could see the front tires and I believe there was a line on the inside of the tire. The purpose of the portholes was to keep check on how much the tires grew as speed increases because they would be going so fast that the tires would pretty much come off the rim and when they looked at the tires after and the marks wouldn’t be lined up with where they were when mounted on the rim. The tires were slightly spinning on the rims, so the portholes were added so you can tell that you either can go faster or you need to stay where you are. Awesome video as always.
Just remembered exactly what the portholes were on. The Elf car that had 4 front tires. They were so small in diameter they were spinning at an incredible rate and since they had 4 front tires it was still drivable.
