Thank you and welcome!
Very nice I'll have to give that a try :D
I MUST try this. Thank you. Beautiful!
I’m having trouble getting the tea bags apart without tearing them. Yours look perfect. Is there a trick to it?
I dry the teabags out completely before opening them up. I open the top end of the teabag where the string is stapled to it. I empty the tea out and then pull the seam side apart - sometimes the side seam tears but most of the teabag stays in tack. I hope I have helped.
@@theartsiecrafter thanks! I’ll try that.
Nice work, thanks for sharing
I love these 😍 just found your channel and I am so glad I did. Thank you
Thank you and Welcome to my channel.
Absolutely gorgeous...well done 👏❤🎉
Please don't take offence, but I was a little distracted by the dangling black cord (left of screen) at first. Prob from camera??
I'm not offended at all, as the dangling black cord distracts me, as well. The cord is my microphone that attaches to my overhead phone camera - it's not long enough to keep out of sight all the time, but I do my best. Haven't found a solution to the problem, but working on it.
Love these pages. Thanks for sharing your process, will have to see if I have any watercolours....
Great idea!
Fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing
My pleasure!
what a great idea! I have to try it!
Please do!
Very pretty. Will be trying this but need to get larger tea bags.
I used regular-sized teabags, if that helps.
@@theartsiecrafter do you remove the loose tea after you brew the bags and dry them? Or do you remove the wet loose tea and then let the teabag dry?
Love this idea. ❤
Gorgeous 😍
very beautiful
That is so beautiful! What type of gold paint do you use?
These are awesome ❤
Beautiful 🦋
I don’t drink tea, but my sister does. I’m wondering about trying this method on mulberry paper. This page is just gorgeous
I'm not absolutely sure - but I think mulberry paper has a similar texture. Be brave and do an experiment, then let me know if it works.
Awesome !!!!!
Awesome!!
Hallo! Schöne Idee und schönes Ergebnis! Abo und 👍 dagelassen! Grüßle Moa 🙋♀
Thank you Monika. I'm glad you like it and thank you for subscribing to my channel
Wow, love it, you have a new subscriber, me, thank you😊🇨🇦
Looks amazing. Cant wait to try this! I cant seem to find large tea bags though. I have tried using tea bags in the past but the bags always end up so small. 😢
I just used regular sized tea bags - once I dried the tea bag and removed the tea leaves, I used my scissors to cut along the side seam and then opened the bag out so it's double the width. I then used my sewing machine to stitch the panels together until I made the size I wanted.
@@theartsiecrafter thank you for explaining your process! I just love using tea bags in my art. I love your work!😍
Curious as to what type/size of needles you use on your machine to sew the teabags
Lovely
Are all the paints your using acrylic?
Do you seal it so the watercolour doesn't run
Where did you get the actual journal book? Did you make it yourself? How do you get each page to look so vintage?
Hi there, I love that technique, but my teabags have holes in them (more of a mesh) - can you let me know what type of teabags you use please? Brand or type, thank you :)
Hi Lisa. You can use any brand of teabags - I used Twinnings in this project - they do have the texture of very fine mesh to allow for the tea flavour to be absorbed into the water. I hope that helps.
So can I just use normal Nerada Australian tea bags? And can you just glue them together instead of sewing?
You can use Nerada brand tea bags. I have glued the teabags together before instead of sewing them, so it should work - just make sure you overlap them enough to ensure they bond together well. Also, make sure you glue them all on the same side, as I don't know how well the glue will take to paint.
What kind of paint is the gold?
This is somethingbthat i can do. I understand why youd want to sew them as you dont have the drying time that glue takes. I don't know if art glitter is waterproof. I also don't know the drying time is with fabric tac
I recently started saving tea bags. I now have a stack with mire drying in the kitchen. I've been drinking more tea than coffee lately as I've developed acid reflux and coffee seems to agitate my.
Your sound is muffled. Thought you might want to know. Maybe it's my computer... Love your work!
❤!

Pressing harder makes a much better print. Otherwise such a good idea.
Great video! The sound however was somewhat muffled so not sharp enough.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
“Artsie” is incorrect.
Artsy is the correct spelling.
You’re welcome.
