Klaxons are an English new rave pop band, based in London. Following the release of several 7-inch singles on different independent record labels, as well as the success of previous singles "Magick" and "Golden Skans", the band released their debut album, Myths of the Near Future on 29 January 2007. The album won the 2007 Nationwide Mercury Prize. After playing festivals and headlining tours worldwide (including the NME Indie Rave Tour) during late 2006-2007, the band started working on their follow-up album in July 2007. Klaxons' second album, Surfing the Void, was released on 23 August 2010. Their 3rd album, Love Frequency, was released on 16 June 2014.

Underrated electronic-indie-punk-rock band
Their lead guitar player is absolute tripe Fam! These guys had sooooo much potential.
They were on drugs once and their albums were great. Then they quit drugs and they couldn't pull it off anymore. It's ok. Thanks for the great music while it lasted.
Shane Rabideaux can’t argue with you on that point, the albums were unique and excellent. But that lifestyle is not sustainable. One of my favourite gigs I have been to was a tiny venue called the white rabbit in Plymouth, and got the chance to chat to Jamie who was casually hanging round before they played. Great memories

What happened to Simon's guitar skill in here? Was he high or drunk, 'cause it sounds REALLY bad. His guitar tone also is very thin and clanky. I know his playing is supposed to be erratic and everything, but this is pure shite. And the new drummer is ok, but not quite good as Stephan. I'm a big fan of the band, but I'm not really feeling these new sounds they're bringing in with this new record...
