Toyota also state autos don't require regular oil and filter changes! Still bloody changing it though! There is wide spread reports of people changing these and improving there fuel economy.
Ive seen the comments on FB, i literally do not understand how Toyota cannot know about this, they have the workshop manuals with exploded diagrams of literally every assembly and sub assembly, one guy suggested changing the allan bolts out for regular bolts of same threads
Most parts guys only order what you want from a VIN. They don’t know what they do or where they are in the car. So you have to give a part number or ask for the diagram of that area and tell them what part number you want. It’s a constant struggle unless it’s something common they order all the time.
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 perhaps they should allow the service and parts manuals to be published like when Toyotadiy had them online then customers could be empowered .. crazy thought lol
Can’t believe he just let diesel spill over the engine when bleeding - can imagine the mess that’s going to create when driving on the next dirt road. Could have put a container there to capture it.
Have replaced a pump on a GUN before, replaced that filter while I was in there, can confirm so much easier when the intake manifold is off
Would give heaps more room
My car does not have a DPF from the factory. Is this a filter on it?
Reason they arent easliy accessible is that they do not require replacing. If a genuine Toyota fuel filter (

Do you have n80 dpf removal service?
Anything is possible
is there any point replacing if you have a dpf delete?
Not really
This car literally had a DPF delete multiple years ago... Why did you replace it. Also explains why it was so clean...
@@nickgalm5591 Literally because the customer asked us to replace it. Did a video on it to show anyone that has a N80 where it is and how to replace.
Whats that top mount turbo doing there, nice if it was a combound turbo setup haha
I don’t know what that is but it’s not stock ha ha
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 sitting above the pretending dpf looks suspicious haha

Far out, no wonder my fuel filter has been so clean.. I think Toyota only replace now every 40,000(?) correct if I'm wrong but that sounds insane

Dont know why you dont remove the tyre for more access. So you are not stretching over it
Alek has massive arms so no need to
Ha ha nah he did take wheel off to put filter back on as it gave more room
How long did it take to replace from start to finish?
It looks like one of those jobs no one wants to do.
Do you know reference?
Reference?

We wash down the engine bay after changing filters or oils. Just not shown in the video
Our local Toyota dealer refused to replace it on our N80 at 170, 000 k's. Go figure!!
Crazy, you can give them the link to this video to show them how to do it ha ha
