I don't think you get the fact that Mark was a huge fan of the United Kingdom version of "The Office." The first few seasons of GYC has a very similar vibe.

If you knew this, you'd have laughed your ass off at Daren's, Josh's, Royal's and Mark's antics. The fact that you didn't understand this or get it proves how well done of a show it was the first few seasons. The producers and Mark later changed the show to focus more on the actual building of the cars, but originally, this show was meant to be exactly how it was.

pull the stickers off the tiers messes up the tier balance ive see a few eps were the the tier was balanced with the sticker on not good at all for such a high end place
We had a Daren at our work he was envious of everything and if you say no to him he would be on you like crybaby and if you slap him he'll just sue and Bich for weeks but one day he just Bich at the wrong person to the boss secretary she was a sweet smart girl she called the boss and told that our Daren. Grabbed her the wrong way he was fired on the spot then she went to human resources and told that he was stalking her then she called the cops on him because the moron waited her outside and started to scream at her and grabbed her by the arm's..cops arrived at the moment he was arrested plus it All happen in front of parking lot camera vid Daren was gone he even left the state...we pay her lunch for 5 months as appreciation for her removing that pain from our necks and we learned don't mess with sweet quiet women they're dangerous.

I found out recently I have autism, which leaves some parts of the brain stuck around two years old, five years old, nine years old, whatever. It's very random but I digress. Point is, I'm autistic, and while I'm not perfect, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have done all that over someone not letting me drive their vehicle. Personally, I think Mark should have fired Daren that day for going AWOL in the company vehicle to just ride around asking random people if they'd let him drive their Jeep (if they had one -- SERIOUSLY?)
I dont see how the car falling off the jack was darrens fault when youre standing there plus you really couldnt spend a couple $100 on the plates designed for that exact thing?
Mark is getting worse as he's getting older and fatter and hornier just like a lot of bosses who want to be the only person to say he knows everything and can't be told anything

Brother you could have avoided that whole issue if you’d had been using wheel dollys on the fronts……. Floor jacks cause so much havoc. I’ve had oil pans on 6.4 powerstrokes get caved in like that.

He was a complete twat and I turned off watching the show because of him. When it reappeared in the UK without him I started watching again as I love the content and attention to detail of the rebuilds.
And now we know how a know it all , boron , screws up a simple job . You would think this guy would learn how to move a car without damage .If a shop hand was that lackadaisical he would probably be looking for a new job .
Ratings is why they kept him, but even the producers were finally convinced he is a walking moron. If I had $120,000 to spend for my car to be restored, I wouldn't want to see the "D" doing stupid crap and having him work on my car messing it up. "You can't fix stupid!".
