Guenon and Schuon were true spiritual masters. Upon the path of spiritual knowledge, one could hope to come to similar realizations as they did. Guenon, in particular, seemed to value the Vedanta teachings very highly. Not everyone is capable of that spiritual knowledge, which is why dogma exists. Metaphysical truth is inevitable. In light of this, perhaps we should consider why Christianity once was such a dominant force, and why Islam still is. If paganism is true, why has it been historically unable to resist the spread of credal religions? Furthermore, are not the essential truths of European paganism also found in traditional Orthodoxy and traditional Roman Catholicism?
