    • @Harley59
      @Harley59 2 роки тому +2

      She alone could fk up the outcome of a guilty man. This case was a easy case he rode along, geared up, hid evidence etc etc. It doesn't matter if he pulled a trigger he went along with plot and was at each killing. Even a driver who drives a murderer away from a crime is guilty in many states. I'm sure the jury is burnt out from her looonnng verbal nonsense

    • @blockhartinabox
      @blockhartinabox 2 роки тому

      Right. That's why smart judges put a time limit on both side's closing arguments. You get 2 hours, and you get 2 hours. That's it. Makes them cut all the fluff out and actually make a convincing argument!

      You don't think starting every sentence with "Again" and ending it with, "Right?" was a good strategy? Over and over and over again?

      Honestly I think she is just worn down she has been on this case for 7 years but she is lucky that the judge was lenient because most judges would not have been ok with the way she asks questions or not and basically testifying. I think the evidence and Mr Wilson saved the case!!!

    • @bookemdanno5596

      She is brutal in general. Every other word is “ummm”. Then she sighs and sniffles and makes snide remarks anytime she is objected to. She seemed lost this entire trial. Not sure if Pike County has a quota they had to meet for female attorneys or what. The guy who did the ballistic evidence was great. It’s beyond me why he didn’t do the whole case.
      Parker, the defense attorney, is no better. You’d think after 4 months of trial you would know the judge is going to want you to tell him what you are objecting to yet any time he objects he just says “objection” and nothing else. I guess the pickings are slim for decent attorneys in East Podunk Ohio.

    Wow, we have a lot of "armchair quarterbacks" here. You missed your calling! Think. Do you think the jurors are stupid?
    My question: Why didn't George ever call the police, OR DO SOMETHING anonymously. I just can't believe he didn't know.

      Can't you just see him getting all drawn into the furore, then "chokes" at the scene and after that, what choice does he have but to be part of the cover-up? By his own proud protestations, he was raised to hate all LE and he was in WAY too deep to suddenly see the light.

    In a perfect world, every truly horrific crime would have an all-star prosecutor and defense team selected to run the trial. Bc only then would the truth about their crimes come to light the world over. I can only imagine how many people started this trial and dropped off long ago, bc the prosecutor and defense attnys are just sooo hard to listen to and stay with. I've been in and out numerous times and missed alot, bc I was just annoyed and couldn't listen anymore. This trial had potential to be a trial of the century. And they let it fall flat.

    George, his attorneys are the worst, always being objective, side bar three time every 15 minutes about every little bit of testimony, they have done it through out the whole process, that's why this closing argument are taking so long. I'm sure his attorneys think they will throw her off but in reality it just will piss the jury off. Georgie boy is toast!

They should all face death, especially Billy, Angels and Jake. but uderstand this women has the weight of the whole world on her shoulders. would I have liked to see her more aggressive and the others have more time, Yes, but she is doing the best job she can and I believe George should get at least as much as his dang mother which was def not enough…sad..But she is completely convincing me he as in on it. She has to go through each lie he told..he is just a good layer and shame on his attorney.

    Gosh I look forward to hearing the defenses closing statement, becaus this prosecutor has done an excellent job in drawing strands of circumstantial evidence together, and in separating fact from fiction and lies from truth. I think George is going to find himself behind bars for a VERY long time unless the defence offers some alternate scenario.

    Speaking of the shoes, maybe the prosecution will come back to the subject. So far, I expected that she would point out that they proved George was present enuff to be stepping in the blood because their mom said she bought the 2 pairs, different sizes FOR THE BOYS. No way was 1 of the pairs for Billy and NOT George, because Billy had to interact with Chris Sr. & Gary that night and it would have stood out to them if he was wearing tennis shoes when HE ALWAYS WORE BOOTS. She never points this out. Though it's circumstantial, like everything else - that info makes it a slam dunk, IMHO.
    Also, she hasn't said anything about when their feet were measured and still I don't know if it was ever disclosed what size George is.

    • @cathleengross3474
      @cathleengross3474 2 роки тому

      The mom, Angela, said she bought the shoes for the boys but this does not prove George wore the shoes. Did they collect DNA from the inside of the shoes? The bloody footprint showed someone stepped in the blood but were the footprints Jake's? What size were the shoes he wore? Were there two sets of footprints showing two different sized shoes at any of the murder sights?

    • @debbiehall7016

      You could have saved the State of Ohio a lot of money! :-) Prosecutor told the jurors weeks ago that George did not murder anyone. First thing this morning, the judge told the jurors that death was off the table. She is trying the convict George of conspiracy, not murder.

      @@evelynmahoney3569 Thanks for pointing this out. The prosecutor said, "she (Suzanne Elliott) ultimately figured out that there were two shoe sizes, 10-1/2 and 11." But, at 1:29:58 the prosecutor said "There were shoe prints left in blood ..........for at least one OR two of the individuals who committed these offenses...." At 1:30:57 the prosecutor said "item 23 & 47 those are the size 11s and item 24 is the 10-1/2. There are two (prints) size 11's in the crime scene in blood." This is confusing to me. Then a little later the judge reminded the jury that these statements are an argument of counsel. Interesting case but I don't think the prosecutor's statement is very good.
