It won’t be long before Best Buy closes down and we end up with a lot more empty stores sitting around. I actually ran up to BB a couple of weeks ago because I needed a keyboard in a pinch and everyone had to evacuate the store. The abandoned Babies “R” Us next store had caught on fire.
INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) is good for LENT ✝. Indy does quite a bit of soul searching in it. In fact, it's especially great if you watch TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984) first. Indy is still a good guy. But he is kind of a pirate. And then you follow it up with TLC where he is doing a lot more soul searching. ✝
Wow those prices are ridiculous considering they're getting rid of movies. By now all of those movies should be $5-$10! But no of course not.🤔 Anyway good hunting and cool video Mike!👉🙂👈
Amazon we picked up To kill a mockingbird 4k, Coco 4k. Clue 4k was at Movie Trading Company. Next day delivery on the Amazon movies. 2.5 miles drive to MTC
I just received the Forgotten Giallo Volume 6 boxed set and Santet 1 and 2 pack. I have the 3 giallos on Venezuelan VHS so I know they're good. I didn't know that the Santet movies are part of the Black Magic movies from Indonesia all staring Suzanna and they're crazy. I used to have Queen of Black Magic on VHS but sold it when everything was coming to DVD now I'm sorry I did.😭
From Best Buy, I picked up Big Fish in 4K and the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 4k. From Amazon, Season 2 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds 4K steelbook. And from Walmart, the 4K steelbook of The Marvels, and just ordered today the 4K steelbook of The Maltese Falcon. Coming out this week, The Gunfight At The OK Corral in 4K from Kino Lorber and from The Shout Factory, the 4K steelbook of the original Magnificent Seven.
I remember in 2006/07 when it felt like I was consistently going to BB just what the product looks like, then buying it online. Even then, was the last place so went to for BDs. Versus even five years before, where I had to drive around town to each shop to find a DVD.
Best Buy isn't giving any discounts instore on movies, except a very few. And online, they have a ton of BD and 4K steelbooks on sale for various prices, alot at $9.99. However, except for a very few, they're either UNAVAILABLE NEARBY OR SOLD OUT. If you can't get them, why mark them down so much.

I have not been to Best Buy since 2016 when they got rid of music CDs.
I find it funny how these videos make it seem like bestbuy is going out of business. Unfortunately physical media just doesn't sell as well anymore.

I've looked forward to Best Buy going our of business since they lost having any competition.
You might ask Best Buy personal if any DVDs will be discounted in the end.
If they discount it will be in a dump box at the end. Prices are still high.
Way too high for my liking.

My local store has no Movie disc. No markdowns, no bargain bins.
Sorry to hear that. Where are you shopping for movies now?

Not anything from Best Buy again recently, but yesterday, went to Wal-mart and picked up The Black Phone on DVD. Got it for $5! (Was in the $5 bin)
Nearest Best Buy is 55 miles from me, but you would think a store that big they could keep a single aisle IMO.
bye bye best... bye!

Why did you still prefer to buy online over in store back then?
Got Outlander7. Is color Purple the new one?
No, that was the old The Color Purple.
I’m excited for the new one to come out.
You shouldn't pay more than $20 for a disc, 4K or not. Are you kidding me? That's so overpriced.
Agreed. Especially with them getting rid of their physical media or at least trying to.

Mike, do you ever go to swap meets on weekends to look for DVDs?
No decent swap meets near me unfortunately. I might try one in the future though.
Oh nvm. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blu ray is still there, just not next to the DVD. They must have moved it. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
