Dude this video is awesome, the love you put into the filming and editing really comes through. I watched it completely and was like, wait, only 73 likes? How is this possible?! Keep going my man
Your rating videos are probably the most entertaining ones of its kind 😂 Beside all these memes, I do appreciate the music from Mario Kart wii - man, this game was a big part of my childhood 😊
R.I.P. eric daman, the absolutely legendary head designer of phantasialand. Klugheim, rookburgh and more came from his beautifully creative mind. If your you speak dutch I would highly recommend the episodes from "ochtend in pretparkland" where they interview him, he seemed like such a good guy. I'm interested in where phantasialand is going to take direction now that he's gone.
They've hired Sven Riegel as their lead designer now, he previously worked on Universal Islands of Adventure and TokyoDisney I think! Damas style however was so uniquely Phantasialand. His "hatred" for Pre shows and story based attractions really shows in his projects with Phantasialand, and is very unique to that park I think!
Taron is not that intense in terms of g force, but it sits exactly where it totally kicks your adrenaline and makes it so fun. I want to ride it again and again and you dont feel tired but still thrilling. I think colorado adventure is more intense on the body and Fly is more intense on my senses, it can cause disorientation because you look downwards. So thats why taron is a perfect coaster with 80% intensity.
Went on Taron yesterday, and felt sick for the rest of the day. Maybe it was the combination of doing it shortly after Black Mamba, but I do feel the roller coasters in Phantasialand are too 'curvy' for me, and due to the scenary it's also hard to see where you are going (especially on Black Mamba). I do usually feel a bit of nausea after an intense coaster, but usually just for a couple of minutes.
@@DenCato yes, i was there again a few weeks ago and also was a bit overwhelmed by these rough twisted hills, last curve etc. Made me feel not that well so i only went 8 times or so. Stupid 😂 It could have been a little smoother. Black Mamba makes me sick too. I think its mostly because it has a lot of inversions. I really love expedition geforce. It has amazing airtime, a scary drop in the back but besides one turn its super smooth.
Spent two days at the park about a month ago. Incredible park! Either this or Cedar Point would be my favorite park. 1. Taron 2. F.L.Y. 3. Black Mamba 4. Chiapas 5. River Quest 6. Talocan 7. Colorado Adventure 8. Winjas- Fear 9. Winja's Force 10. Mystery Castle 11. Maus au Chocolate 12. Raik 13. Crazy Bats 14. Wellenflug (Swings) The top 11 are all outstanding. I never got to do the Geista Rikscha (Was Closed) or the other attraction you stated.
phantasialands line up is just so good i mean taron which is my number 1 currently (probaly soon gonna get beat by another coaster) but also fly, black mamba, chiapas, mystery castle there is bassicly no attractions in this park that is just ok every ride is bassicly the best that model has to offer
Simply won't happen. Check out where Fantissima, one of the major revenue contributors for the park is located. You can only tear down both at the same time. As soon as they start building new accommodations for Fantissima, you can expect the entire Space Center to go shortly after. But so far there is no sign of that.
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi They probably planing sth there the vr ride always felt like a temporary solution and they slready closed down the hollywood tour in the same building and its not like they have alot of other space in the park at best they could replace the geisterrikscha
8:40 LMAO I love how you mention the medieveal theming while showing arguably the most un-themed section of any Phantasialand ride :D Under Phantasialand fans River Quest was (especially before the theming enhancements in 2016) jokingly called "Parkhausrafting" or "Parkhausrutsche" because of how it literally looks and feels like one of those Parking garages where you drive down in circles
Colorado Adventure could be the best of the best mine train ... but those hard shell seats that end in the middle of your back ... oh man, my back hurted for the rest of the day after backrow ride. My TOP 3 there are the same as yours but withour Black Mamba ... Sadly Black Mamba was closed when we visited .... btw I saw that Terkel reference and laughted so much :D I think only Europeans knows about Terkel.
Colorado is certainly on another level compared to others of the model. Sorry to hear Black Mamba was closed... that's really a shame! Glad to hear you got the reference 🤣 I'm not sure how many outside of Scandinavia would, honestly
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi I am sure we will be back, hopefully next year! ... Oh yeah! We even had almost month long cinema run in Czechia for Terkel! I love it so much! 😁
my list gonna look a whole lot different (also cause i couldn't ride river quest and didn't ride wellenflug) but ranking my top 15 would be: 15 genschou palace thing (the mad house) 14 geister rikscha 13 maus au chocolat 12 crazy bats 11 tartuff 10 raik 9 talocan 8 colorado 7 mystery castle 6 force 5 fear 4 chiapas 3 black mamba 2 taron 1 FLY (my favorite coaster ever)
I have gone to phantasialand in total like 20 days or something and I have gone on the ride of the taron like 40 times but it the fun stase every time it has only been a wile since I've been there I think it was like the last time I've been there 2019-2020 because they where constructing the fly...😢
Fly at 4 is quite controversial lmao, I get the flying thing tho. Tho that’s why it’s my favorite ride. The flying position just makes everything better.
Feng chu palace is probable the worst Vekoma mad house ever made. Tolacan is great ofcourse not if you get sick on it but try it on the end of the day its really great. My order is slightly different but i don't get sick from spinning and i'm not that keen on log flumes. So FLY is one place higher on my list. As is Tolacan as you would have probable guessed. O and yes i have exactly that same feeling on Taron. I don't what that coaster does but i just love it.
I haven't heard the best things about Feng Ju Palace either. I'm afraid Talocan will make me sick to a really bad degree, which would also mean I won't be able to enjoy the ride at all...
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Have you ever tried dramine? Thats the motionsickness pills, i know some enthousiast who also get sick in coasters and use it if they visit a theme park. They think its the best thing this side of heaven. Since i don't get sick i wouldn't know though.
Last year, I juggled it between nr. 2 and 3, but Black Mamba impressed me a lot this year, and Chiapas is unbelievably fun. It's generally one of my favorite rides of all time now, whereas I don't enjoy the flying position of F.L.Y. that much
