Steven is a good man, may the Lord keep his bucket full of fish every time 🙏🏻 Man, that umbrella is a live saving here in TX for sure, I have the beach kind always, but I don’t really fish the dike too much and I know wind there is a killer. Nice video bro and good eating 🤙👏🏻👏🏻
For a good blackened seasoning that isn't salty I use "CHEF PAUL PRUDHOMME MAGIC SEASONING BLENDS BLACKENED REDFISH MAGIC" cooked with unsalted butter.
I have a question. I have been following you for a couple of months now because I’m very interested in the old town kayak platforms. I live hear in New York. Actually Beacon NY. I have been researching for months trying to figure out if anything old town kayak has to offer can handle the Hudson for striper fishing season. I finally found a video of you doing exactly what i wanna do but your in a Hobie kayak. If you can could you recommend a set up with old town that you ur self would fish the hudson with in an Old town kayak and if not that just point me in the right direction.
The only Old Town that I would ever try on the Hudson is the BigWater ePDL. The currents on that river are crazy at times and the ePDL will give your legs a rest if needed.
Mark i know you love you some fresh fish,do you ever freeze any fish for another day. i have a friend who hates frozen fish, what are your thoughts on that

Awesome catch! If you like sushi, Spanish Mackerel makes great sashimi! All it needs is a little soy sauce and wasabi.
Sounds great!

Awesome man! Good use of the catch as well, nothing wrong with the variety. Probably should have stayed longer last time I was out. Tight lines 🎣

Has anyone fished the Port O'Connor jetties recently? Looking to see what's the best setup out there. Headed there this weekend.
I would like a recipe on your best ceviche if you don't mind. thank you. Love watching your videos.
I just make Pico and add lime cured diced fish. 👍
For a good blackened seasoning that isn't salty I use "CHEF PAUL PRUDHOMME MAGIC SEASONING BLENDS BLACKENED REDFISH MAGIC" cooked with unsalted butter.

@@MDLRFishing Thank you
How do you rig that weighted cork and leader line , can you give some more details in next video
I rig it in several videos. I’ll do my best to remember and show it again.
Baby wants the chips
😂👍
Mark i know you love you some fresh fish,do you ever freeze any fish for another day. i have a friend who hates frozen fish, what are your thoughts on that
I prefer fresh caught being that I can always bring something home any given day.
What kind of wire did he hook you up with ?
Cable wire
Garage door cable
Will the Lime juice cook the fish in the fridge, let me know, Buddy told me
Yes it will
Always use a wire leader for them Spanish Mack’s. They got teeth like scissors.
👍
Is that at galveston jetties?
No, Freeport
Oh ok
Bru it was so rough out td it sucked i went back home
Was it because of high winds?
