I love the Jodrell Bank logo. I've never really thought of a 3D logo that can be displayed as a flat, 2D logo from different perspectives, and always look consistent and recognisable. Another video that gets the creative spider senses tingling. Thanks, Matt.
Also, I agree with you about the Bank Of England identity. I'm all for breaking the rules and being a bit sideways-moving with design, but the Bank of England isn't the place to do it. Having said that, who really looks at the BoE website, probably mostly bankers, traders and financial journalists etc., basically people who are used to looking at financial software, which does kind of align with the new identity. (The £5 green should definitely go though! 😬)
My first thought of the Airsign photo, of the lady holding the vacuum cleaner outside, is a reference to the 1930 painting entitled American Gothic. The rest of the photos have a Larry Sultan quality to them.
Jodrell Bank is an interesting identity, making it kinetic makes sense. I’ll have to check the firm that designed it. Airsign is cool, the alternative identity “air” feels like has an unrelated origin.
Thanks for all the comments, some really interesting work and approaches on display here. ✌️

Definitely check out Johnson Banks and Michael Johnson's books. Their creative thought-process often leads to brilliant solutions.
I love this types of videos, please keep on making them ❤️
Cheers Kevin. I'm looking for an accountant, could you help?
@@MattBruntonUK Sorry, I’m busy whit my bar.
Very nice! Thanks!
It looks like that Bank of England woman is sitting in a Union Jack branded wheelchair 😂
Haha... when you see it...
Video idea: listing site designs, Not must information about them and good design ideas.
Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure what you mean.
Bank of England really missed the mark.
The Bank of England is a dud. Font is so wrong. As you say, no gravitas.
It's also fun to say the word "gravitas"
