All these Amazon vendors would not be charging what they do, if people were not buying them. Probably many are buying, who have never purchased Silver before until now.
i honestly don't mind paying extra. it's not like i'm buying stacks after stacks. it's only one or two a year so it's no biggie for me. if it's shipped by amazon then you are guaranteed to get your refund if things go wrong. JM Bullion tried to screw me and made me go through hoops to get my refund. i'm still traumatized by that experience and hesitant to purchase anything valuable online unless its the company that doesn't back out on its promise. you may have a reason or two to hate amazon, but they do a damn good job of returning things if they screw up.
The price is over 30 dollars because amazon charges around 30% of the money you make. so the seller is making a lot less than 30 dollars. It would not be smart to start using Amazon as a selling platform for precious metals!
@@au_kryptosilverstacking6576 the amount of people that come to amazon make it worth it. even if you are only making 1-2% profits. If you have a lot in stock it can add up to a decent amount of money!
As someone who used to make a living selling on Amazon and Ebay, I can tell you that if you sell a $6 item on Amazon, they charge you $3-4. That's how ridiculous their selling fees are. Precious metals and many other types of items simply can't be competitive on that platform.
Spot went down during the pandemic. The physical cost of silver went up though. After spot came back up to where it was, prices still were higher then before.
we are not in a depression.... yet 😏 also the price of silver didn’t go down just the spot price. premiums went through the roof just like this time 🔥🐉
Bought my first ASE on amazon. It was fast shipping and the coin came in a clear round case but overall it was overpriced. This was back when spot was $15 and it cost over $30. Also beware, some sellers on Amazon are putting gold and silver coins in mint cases at a marked up price which is misleading because they are not proof only BU. I learned and starting looking for better deals thanks to your videos Silver Dragons. I went to cheaper other online retailers like SDB and now am looking to support my LCS for cheaper deals.
I always buy my silver eagles on eBay! NGC graded Silver Eagles MS 69 for 29-32 dollars! That one you bought on Amazon looks like a souvenir piece with that card!
I'm waiting on two one 2020 and one Peace Dollar both over $40 and I'm also waiting on a bezel for the Eagle and that was over $27 and it is not possible for it to match the metal value for that price so maybe it a crafting cost or something but it's still over pride I would think for a Sterling Silver 925 usa made coin bezel for a chain.
The issue I have ran into is that SD Bullion and Apmex charge $7-9.00+ for shipping a silver coin (under $100.00 order), so how is buying it on Amazon at that rate with Free Prime shipping any different? Provident Metals seems to have the most reasonable cost on shipping. Best value is to buy in bulk.
One of the biggest reasons I stack is so I don't buy stuff I don't need from amazon! So, this is really ironic. No wonder Bezos is so wealthy. Thanks for taking a hit for the community! Hey, when silver hits $32 this year (hahaha), you'll break even.
Does anyone actually circulate silver eagles? I bet if you could find one that actually did circulate, it would be worth a lot more than an uncirculated one. :)
So my job had the electric redone and it took 3 days longer than expected. This weekend they can’t pay us overtime but they are giving us 100 bucks to work Saturday and 250 to work both days on top of our normal pay as gift vouchers. One of the sites I can buy off is amazon with the gift voucher. So because of this video I’ll probably buy silver off amazon instead of wasting the money on something worthless. Thanks for the idea. The one time it makes sense to buy silver off amazon.
Silver Dragons actually it’s not a card. I have to sign in to my works “reward program” and use the money through that. I can choose from amazon, bass pro shops, a bunch of different stores. Wouldn’t that be nice if sd bullion was on the list haha!
I got into silver stacking just before the pandemic hit. During the pandemic I ordered some of my silver through amazon (sets of constitutional silver) so that I wouldn't have to go out among crowds and stuff. I am not even sure if some of my LCS's were open at this time. I did it for convenience and because I guess I still had a lot to learn about stacking. I must say that on all most all items, amazon was way over priced. Now I am just worried that some of the coins in my stack could be counterfeit (mainly my walking liberty and franklin half dollars) because I did buy a few sets of those on amazon. How common is it to come across counterfeit half dollars?
When I first got into silver, I made my first purchase on Amazon because I didn't know where else to buy it. $20 for 10 grams. Spot was like $15 at the time. Lol.
Why would so many people ask if it’s a good idea to buy on amazon? Just go check amazon pricing vs online coin sellers. Would take 1 minute to find out
We haven't purchased anything from Amazon in several years. We used to sell on Amazon about 8 years ago, and we didn't like it compared to Ebay. On Ebay, the sellers can cultivate a relationship with buyers, on Amazon, you are just another provider of product. I've been selling stuff on Ebay for 17 years, and still sell stuff on there to this day.
I did find a graded kookaburra ms70 pcgs from 2015 for about 30 looked at ebay and other places and they had the same price this was about 4 months ago

I agree with everything you say on Amazon Silver Dragons but their are exceptions. I buy tons of items off my chase sapphire card close to 4000.00 month spending which in turn gives me reward points. I will usually use my reward points in the summer for hotels example in Philippines. Since I cant really travel I had close to 1200.00 in reward dollars still have not used yet. Amazon and chase have a special program were I can use my reward points off amazon. With covid and not really being able to travel amazon is a nice way for me to pick up australian rectangular 1 ounce bars for using some of my points. Amazon can work to build your stack if you can get free silver using the points.

I know Amazon is taking over the world, but personally, I can’t stand ordering anything on Amazon, because it’s almost Always Higher Priced than I find it almost anywhere else. Works for me bud. you folks have a lot of dealers competing with ea other that keeps prices down. Not so much up here eh. Have a good weekend son ! Be safe out there !
wow that is cool that you have a cheap dealer up there! we do have lots of options 😏🔥🐉
Decided to look at Amazon prices on gold. Prices were absurdly high.
yeah so stupid 🙄🔥🐉
Good video, how do you know that is not fake? Keep posting videos bro
When you've been dealing with ASEs for a while you can just look and feel it and you know. The fakes are pretty obvious IMO.
The weight, or magnet test should still be done if not outright the precious metals verifier.
I can tell by the strike. I have seen thousands. off camera it is not magnetic and weighs correctly 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 I received a 2020 Britannia from SD Bullion where the Queen on the reverse is crying. I know it's just a poor strike, but it surely does look like she has droplets of tears from her eye.
@@paulrichards383 Sounds like that one is worth some $$$.
Only about $14 above spot...
lol for eagles that’s just silly 🔥🐉
isn't Amazon supposed to sell stuff Cheap?
yep but not silver apparently 🤦🏽♂️🔥🐉
Silver Dragon, what is your opinion on the silvergoldbull.com IRA?
I haven’t looked into it to be honest 🤷🏽♂️🔥🐉
I dont get where they say these Eagles are uncirculated. Come On!!!! They are ALL uncirculated. They were'nt minted to spend.
I actually bought my first eagle this week here for 22,80 euro ...Dont kick me out of your channel lol...
My collection is almost everything maples and some philharmonics...cause theyre cheaper a bit
Silver eagles priced over 25 euros is too much for me
lol hey at least you got one! 🔥🐉
As of writing this, they are now $50 Bucks on Amazon...wtf
I purchased 72 mercury dimes and paid shipping in each. Amazon wouldn't help resolve the issue. I feel like I was taken advantage of.
wow that is crazy!!!! what a scam 🔥🐉
In a perfect world , we could all get silver off Amazon for a normal price! 😆😎🤑
Yeah, $30+ is a little too much for me! Thanks for another great video Dragons!!
lol agreed! thanks for watching my friend 🔥🐉
Interesting, but I would have kept the paper as an artifact.
lol it’s easy enough to print one 🔥🐉
I alot of dealer's would say eagle's are a collector's piece.
not the 2019 BU lol 🔥🐉
Hey silver dragon. I just recently encountered some silver eagle coins. I saw that you verified the authenticity. How can you tell if it's authentic or not?
Weigh it and the sound is distinct. Other than obvious appearance it's all you can without a scratch test
I can tell by the strike that it’s real. to further test use a magnet and a cheap scale 🔥🐉
Got it. Thanks Jay B and silver dragons!
Thanks for mentioning Modern Coin mart!!! a Great spot!
yes for sure! 👍🏽🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 I don't understand how they can do that but for now, I don't want to know!!!I bought one, just to check out the Process and Verify that there was no funny business and they are Certainly on the Up & UP!!!! My NEW Favorite spot to Shop!
(Can I return all my Other coins? LOL)
Only $16 over spot 🧐hmmmm . NO 👍
lol yeah hard pass 🔥🐉
I got my first 5 eagles off Amazon 18 months ago.
my goodness 😬 how much were they? 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 I think they were just under 25 each, I realize that was not the place to get them. I went to SD bullion instead.
Amazon can work to build your stack if you can get free silver using the points.
yeah I honestly didn’t know about any rewards programs... that is a good deal then! 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 well its still over priced silver lol but points can get it free in a way lol
A MS69 2019 Is $32.00 On The PCGS Coin Price App So Maybe They Think It’s In That Condition !!!
😂😂😂😂 yeah but it’s not slabbed 🔥🐉
Man I'm so jealous how cheaper silver is in US compared to UK
we do have it pretty good here 🔥🐉
The dollar is strong...for now.
Buying silver from Amazon is like buying Champagne in a nightclub.
Ya Amazon is completely crazy with there prices no matter wht your buying
seriously! 🔥🐉
Anyone know if silvercoins.com is a scam really good deals on silver eagles
it looks like a blog 🤷🏽♂️ they sell silver? 🔥🐉
Ebay is not as bad, but still expensive compared to the major dealers or the forums.
yeah I am a fan of ebay 👍🏽🔥🐉
Have you lost your mind? Did your local guy run out of silver?
lol no it was for the video 🔥🐉
The only silver that I would buy off of Amazon, would probably be a 2020 panda. Out of stock on the other websites.
wow that is crazy! there are a lot on ebay 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 ah i don't use ebay. Maybe i'll take a look
@@SilverDragons47 meh ebay has the same $40 price range. Might just go with amazon. Love prime shipping
$32+...?? That was one expensive experiment. I know Amazon is taking over the world, but personally, I can’t stand ordering anything on Amazon, because it’s almost Always Higher Priced than I find it almost anywhere else. I compare Amazon to Rip-Off-Mex...almost ALWAYS overpriced, but best selection.
yeah APMEX has the selection! never buy from amazon 🔥🐉
