Clive recorded the best maiden albums, got to see him 3 times.respect
How can that be? He didn’t play on Powerslave nor Senjutsu or The book of souls.
Yes, the first albums were the best. Modern Maiden (2000 on) is mediocre, jaded and cheesy.
I'm from Cyprus and I am a metal/rock drummer. Clive was a huge influence for me ....
I always wanted to visit Clive's grave as a tribute for all what he delivered to me....!!!!
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
He was a great drummer. Those first 3 albums were very special. R.I.P
When he left the band no matter the reason. The band never sounded the same. Clive played on the 3 best Maiden albums.
Clive was great, best 3 Maiden records to me. Life is short, play hard, blessings to all.
Clive burr was a awesome drummer and guy thank you for putting this on
Absolutely love iron maiden. Thank you for showing us his final resting place
RIP Clive..Keep Rockin Where Ever You Are.
Really looking forward to this one Clive was a top drummer with Maiden I think he played on three Maiden albums Iron Maiden Killers and number of the beast
Love IRON MAIDEN!!!❤❤❤THANK YOU FOR SHARING, PAUL❤😊 RIP Clive💕🙏🏽🥰 Replay crew AGAIN!!!❤
Clive Burr was such a powerhouse drummer which in my opinion helped pave the way for Maiden. Regards from New Zealand.
My favourite all time Eastend band.
As an Iron Maiden fan this will be a real treat. I became a Iron Maiden fan in 1985 when I arrived in England from Australia as an 8 year old those really were the Golden years of hardcore British Heavy Metal acts with really memorable Concerts and some events going now a days like Donnington,Milton Keynes,Glasenbuey just to name afew and overseas ones like Budkon, Eastern Creek(Sydney).
But yeah This is going to be Great Thanks Paul.
Clive Burr is certainly not forgotten. His strength and endurance on the kit was something to behold. He was a major force and I can't think of anyone who matched him in the early 80's.
The Bats featured within your presentation are a Fantastic touch Paul
My favorite Maiden drummer. He had such a powerful groove and created great parts. I wrote a piece on him before and after he died in Modern Drummer Magazine back in the day.
I am not a heavy metal gal, but I can appreciate the musicianship of these guys. RIP Mr Burr. Thanks for uploading another great video Paul!).
Oh wow, yes! I think I requested Clive just a week or so after first discovering your channel. It's wonderful to see you're visiting him at last. I've been a huge Maiden fan for most of my life, and Clive is an icon in the world of metal drumming. So many of the genre's greats cite him as a major influence. Really looking forward to 7 o' clock, it should be a treat. :)
this guy has been a legend on the platform for 2-3 years now surprised you didnt hear of him lol
@@n1tr0rl._ Until I came across Paul's video on Paul O' Grady's grave by accident around a year ago, I had no idea about the world of grave visiting videos. Unusual Things introduced me to that world, and since then, I've followed many other UA-camrs who do similar content. And Paul is definitely one of the best who creates this kind of content, that is for sure.
Thanks Paul a lovely tribute to Clive well done
@@Sara_Kane yes
Paul would you fufill my request by visiting the grave of english actor gene wilder please and you are the sweetest kindest most special guy on youtube ♥️♥️
I was lucky enough to meet Clive and Bruce at a meet and greet at my local record store. They were touring Number of the Beast, opening for Scorpions. My friend I was with was a starting drummer, and he loved Clive. We met him and my buddy said "This is the best drummer in the world!" Clive actually blushed, he was very humble. He was also very friendly, and he is still one of my favorite drummers.
Love iron maiden, went to see them live 1980 on the killer tour at Guildford civic, hard to believe I was a rock n roll chick lol looking forward to this one, thanks Paul ❤
❤❤❤
That was Great paul enjoyed the live chat thank you all
So sad 😞
I know a couple of friends who have MS & it’s heartbreaking watching them slowly decline
Lovely tribute to a great man
Thanks Paul 👍🏻
I was 8, in 1975, when my Dad was diagnosed with it at 26 years old (he and my Mom were only 18 when they had me and are still together), so I have an idea of what Clive went through. It's great his former bandmates got together and raised funds for Clive during his descent with this horrible disease! There are many forms, and thankfully, my Dad had the very slow progressing type. I got quite a number of good years out of him where he was still able to be active. By his early 40's, he was using crutches with wrist supports at my college graduation. I had to watch a once strong man slowly deteriorate to the point now where he is going to be 75 in July and in a long term care facility, basically a quadriplegic. However, he has NEVER ONCE complained to me about it, nor have I ever heard him cry the poor mes. He still has his mind and playfully flirts with all of the female staff (not in a dirty way), even jokingly saying to me "Hey Bri! Meet your new Mom!", talking about the cute young 30 something PSW wheeling him down the hallway (I'm old enough to be HER Dad!), for which he got a light slap and a cute smirk out of the woman. He is the staff favorite, with them even fighting to see who gets to feed him meals! My Mother took care of him at home after retiring 10 years ago but it just got to be too much for her. We make sure he knows he is still loved and visits from my Mom, me, and various friends and relatives ensures he is rarely left alone more than a day by himself. It is a terrible disease, but I an thankful he has been around this long to offer guidance, wit and wisdom! He is the strongest man I've ever known! Sorry for the novel, but I'm so proud of him! P.S. Number Of The Beast and Screaming For Vengeance were my first introduction to metal when they were first released, are still my favorites to this day, and glad I could be there in those times. Unfortunately, I didn't see Maiden until the Powerslave tour (my first concert!) Up The Irons!
Love the new stating Paul & the view of the church yard is so beautiful when you use your drone I didn’t realise how much the caretaker takes to look after the grounds 🎉😊😊
Beautiful Tribute Paul Gone too young ...Beautiful flowers under his tree
RIP Clive, I’m a big Maiden fan and you’ll be sorely missed ❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
I loved Clive Burr.A great drummer and a pin up on my wall.So sad that cruel illness took him away and sad his wife Mimi has the same thing.Rip Clive.xx
Clive was the best
What a great drummer he was!! So sad he was suffering for many years living on a wheelchair. RIP brother
Thank you Paul RIP to Clive, My friend sadly passed with MS 😢she also was always smiling and a strong character. Beautiful memorial with the drum sticks and flowers.
Sorry to hear you lost her. It must be something in their souls that gives them such strong character. My Dad was diagnosed when I was a kid in 1975 and is about to turn 75. He's been in a long term care facility for 2 years, barely able to bring his hand to his face, but never once has complained or done the poor mes. I hope you were able to spend some quality time with your friend for a number of years before she passed? The drum sticks and well kept garden are a cool and beautiful tribute to Clive! Been a Maiden fan since #OTB was released when I was 14 and always loved his drumming!
Thanks Paul for doing this video😊
Thank you Paul brilliant video as all ways x
Great video 👍
Thanks, mate👏
R.I.P Clive Burr you absolute legend🤘🤘
It’s been a long time since I have watched you but glad to be back.Great film thank you.
Awesome Drummer RIP Clive
Thank for the Video Clive was the iron maiden drummer in the first 3 albums.
Clive burr pour moi c'est et restera le meilleur batteur de maiden, merci,
I think he was a very underrated drummer and Killers is a great album and the number of the beast. RIP Clive and thanks for another fantastic video Paul 😇🤘🙏
Clive is alive on my turntable on a daily basis!
Hi Paul thank you for showing us where clives resting place, and he was very good drummer, on the 3 album's he did with iron maiden, as maiden is my favourite band of all time , again thank Paul, and rest in peace Clive
I had him mixed up with Paul Di'Anno, who was the original Maiden vocalist so thanks for putting a face to the name for me. I remember first seeing Maiden on Top of the Pops in 1984 when they did 'Two Minutes to Midnight'. I've seen them live twice since then, and both times iin the 21st century. And the current drummer is Nico McBrain not McBrian.
Wow I remember him...Once again well presented Paul
Another respectful video Paul. Beautiful final resting place, lovely kept greens.
Thank you once again Paul. As usual you gave us an interesting story and told us a bit about his life. I love the musicians ones, especially the rock giants
Very nice vlog, there’s also a concert tour/festival called Burrfest. Ronnie Lane, former bassist of the Small Faces also had M.S. too
Always love your videos on hard Rock musicians Paul I loved earlier iron maiden recordings God bless Clive Burr cheers
As both a fan of your channel and a huge Maiden fan. Thank you.
Another good one Paul. Thank you.
Saw Maiden with Clive playing on the Number of the Beast Tour in 81 he was brilliant and is much missed
Thank you sir! Clive…he made that snare his!!! Cheers from SoCal
Well done Paul another great video x
Nice One Paul . Another great Tribute 👍
Greates from Serbia...Clive❤😢💔
I could not believe my eyes when I read the short article about Clive's death back in March 2013. It was like a piece of me died. Prisoner is the embodiment of heavy metal and Clive's pounding drummin' was like not from this planet. RIP Clive the one and only. Its unbelievable to see Clive's tiny gravestone. He deserves much bigger one.
Cool video and nice to hear all about Clive Burr. Steve Harris is mates with the landlord in my pub, and he pops in now and then! I'm not starstruck at all! Haha.
Also, I like your jacket :)
Thank you, and that’s cool…
Thanks Paul for this video wot a great group I love iron maiden I was a heavy rocker in my younger days and I even loved status quo was the best group going even to day thanks again ❤

I saw Clive play in June,1982 in Oakland,Ca at the Day On The Green- in the stadium- I have some great photos from the show
I saw Clive with Iron Maiden on The Number of the Beast tour in 1982. Amazing drummer. Such a terrible loss.

R.I.P. Clive Burr. Great Drummer
Up the Irons
🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
As someone said earlier
i too was at bracknell sports centre to see iron maiden,
clive inspired me to go back to the single bass. he wasn't just a great drummer but a real good looking dude. don't mean to be a downer but keep glenn tipton in your thoughts and prayers. he has ms as well.
amazing footage as always.
It might be a long shot, but if you could find out where Stuart Anstis is buried, former Cradle of Filth guitarist (im sure ya head of em😁), that would be incredible!
He was their lead guitarist in the mid to late 90s, and died in 2022
Cremated by the looks of it.

@@UnusualThings1 your quick research skills impress me 🙏
so theres no grave i guess...thanks for looking at it!
No worries, yes no grave sadly
Hi Paul it’s been a long week you spoilt us doing two videos a week so many fade away and disappear so appreciate ll your hard work not a fan of this music Paul but it is a beautiful place georgeous gardens love to be walking round there with you looking good take care ❤️😊
💕 독특한 콘텐츠 🙏🥁
The name of the album is The number of the beast. There’s no “one”
I caught that too, but he may have been crossing up the fact it was a number one album. Minor error.
I hope that when and if Iron Maiden is inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is is included in the inductees.
Brilliant drummer. Still think, The Number of the Beast, is still their best album.
Hi Paul, great video as always, the other half was into heavy metal, especially iron maiden. Brought back some great memories, they re still the only band to own their own 747, so if they happen to read this drop me a line I'd happily fly them for free! Great video Paul, looking forward to seeing your next one. How about Rick Parthitt from status quo?
He’s on my to do list 🙏
Great news, thank you👍
Just listen to genghis khan.. Clive at his best..RIP
I use to clean he’s windows on he’s house in Wanstead (just by snersbrook court)
It's Nicko McBrain, not McBrian. I enjoyed the video!
