God I love your videos! Where a lot of UA-cam channels start disappointing after a while, this only gets better and better! And that knife looks awesome! I work in a kitchen, and high-quality knives make a huge difference, so a great trade in my opinion! Keep it up Jorg!
:D I have a brilliant idea, you should add recurve limbs! It would give your crossbow a lot additional power plus (assuming you have the right tools) you could make a pair. I would recommend making the limbs out of Yew because it's a very flexible wood.... Or you could buy the limbs at an archery store. :)
Thanks to u joerg I just made my first slingshot !!!!!!! It was kinda designed after your moore hammer . It feels great making something out of blood sweat and blood. Them darn rasps are sharp bastards !!!! Thanks for inspiring me to make something after my back injury. Peace.
Just in case what you said wasn't a mistake on your part, a bullpup is a weapon that has all the mechanisms behind the grip and the trigger. Most firearms, the trigger is in the back. The bullpup was designed so the trigger is ahead of all of the mechanisms and firing parts. So this is a bullpup but I want you to know that it isn't because it's short.
Perfectly explained, well done, good to know there are people who know what a true bullpup is. I have trained with the Austeyr and the first thing you learn is the definition of a bullpup.
yes but that's not how it becomes classified as a bullpup you fuckhead. if you have a short rifle its just a fucking sbr. don't go calling someone an idiot and sound fucking stupid.
rednecman19 from Wikipedia "A bullpup is a firearm with its action behind its trigger group this configuration gives a shorter overall weapon for its given barrel length". Now who are you calling a fuckhead
It looses some power, but only until the temperature of the tensed band has reached the environmental temp. The the hystersis comes to an end and the band power reaches stability. You simply compensate by using a bit more rubber. No problem with heavy projectiles.
Diese Tests habe ich schon vor langer Zeit durchgeführt. Die Reibung ist sehr gering, der Speedloss ist nicht messbar. Die Borsten dürfen den Schaft aber nur sehr leicht berühren.
You are my hero!! People here in the US are VERY upset about the coming vote on the UN arms trade treaty and they think the government will come grab our guns. You are showing us that we can make our own defensive weapons that, while not quite as good as a gun, are still VERY effective.
Sir do you actualy beleive we can survive the zombie apocalypse with this low cadency weapons ? True is so many people will turn zombies they will over run us before we load the next shot :)
According to the well thought out "Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks, guns are nothing more than "last stand" weapons when the Zombies come - as a gun shot is a "dinner bell" for Zombies. Surviving the Zeds is a question of hiding and ambush.
R41n R1d3r Guys is it just me or am I missing something ? when I read this sort of thing I think WTF Zombies and you all buy i to it. reality check here, Zombies are fiction as in not real. Lets all join hands and try to contact the living.
I just realized why I enjoy your demonstrations so much. You have achieved the perfect UA-cam balance - you make cool shit and you have a funny accent! LOL
Great Job as usual, you are an excellent fabricator in wood. I can't wait to see the tutorial and prints on how the bull pup was made. Keep up the good work and all the best to you over in sunny Deutschland. Dan
Your woodworking skills are unbelievable. It is a shame that you cancelled the tutorial, but aside from the woodworking aspect, the concept seems pretty simple, kind of like a "peg gun." Please keep making videos, I love the slingshot channel. Also, that 200 pound draw "crossbow" you made, that you shot the lead ball against that rock with, is incredible. An electric winch would be a great addition. That is a very formidable weapon.
Keep it up Jeorg. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Love the humor. The last one had me rolling on the floor. You brighten my day everytime I watch one of your videos.
Joerg, you give off the impression of a big teddy bear. You're big and brawny, and even a bit intimidating, but you're so happy and polite that it's just adorable. Keep on smilin', man :)
This is a fantastic design, and I've seen most of your vids and shot all kinds of bows, crossbows, and vertical xbows..... this is probably my favorite.... I'd love to see a sturdier, higher quality, heavier bands (higher velocity) version of this.
I don't know, my garden does not allow shots longer than 25 yards. Works fine. AFAIK bow hunters always try to get as close to the game as possible, rarely over 30 yards.
oh sorry if i have made a misunderstand here, it was just a joke because all of your weapons are made from wood, and when i watch your video it have 1 dislike and i think that the only person (group) that could dislike your videos is an ambientalist or something like this. i really love your videos ;D
Yes, for a crossbow that shoots full size arrows it is very small. Most conventional crossbows are only slightly longer, but ususally very very wide, hard to carry around.
nice one Joerg, i think that is your best anti zombie weapon yet.its not to big, you can load it pretty fast, and it definatly seems powerful enough. im inspired. im gona try and make one.
Ich finds immer super wie du dich am Ende freust da muss ich auch grinsen:D. Also man merkt wirklich wieviel Spass du daran hast und das ist echt cool.
I really really enjoy your videos. I'm a big fan and you are the worlds best maker from sling shots to crossbows your awesome iv learnt a lot from you thank you very much god bless
HEY I am glad I am not the only one who Thought of a neodymium magnet for knife retention. I have a neck knife and that plus just a wee bit of friction is how I keep the knife from falling out.
hi Jörg deine Videos sind sehr gut ich gucke sie immer wenn ich entspanne und oft muss ich staunen wie du deine Sachen gebaut hast und wie gut du sie dann auch vorstellt weiter hin viel Spass beim Bauen 😀
Love your channel.... Please make a good tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks again for a great channel and keep on bringing them on. You are fantastic!!
Here in Oklahoma, every hunter around would have to put his hands on it. And the wood sheath, perfect for fishing on the water, it probably floats and if not sinks very slowly. Thank you for sharing.
Firstly, I love your trigger mechanism. Until now I hadn't seen a trigger that released the string from the top, saves a tonne of time if you want to build a crossbow quickly, without many moving parts. One question though Joerg, you don't seem to like building weapons with a lath (limbs), is this a preference of yours? I love an overall shorter weapon and I've found the width factor can be countered by making the limbs collapsible using lockable hinges. Anyway, keep up the great work.
I always admire people who know how to build things. I would, however, suggest that the laser sight be placed under the bow to make loading of arrows easier.
I am impressed. I am just plain....impressed. German engineering. There you go. Now, just a few questions. What is, or will this be used for? In a SHTF scenario? Why not just buy a crossbow? Arrows? I don't know, I'm still in awe of the design, just...NICE. But I'd be wondering what to do if something broke.
I'm a huge fan and this design is amazing...but he only shows the loading of the practice tip arrow. Seems like the broadhead would have to be muzzle loaded judging byy the clearance of the toothbrush/ scope mount. Thoughts?
Joerg! Can you make some more weaponize videos man? There the best, you are always so inventive and creative! Also, do you know how to make stab/bullet resistant armour with basic materials and tools? Would love to see a vid on that too!! Been subbed since the beginning and you just keep getting better! Keep the vids coming!!
I absolutely love this one out of all your crossbows! its just so cool! you dont have a 'how to build' video on this one do you? i would love to see how its done by a pro! i love your channel! -Max
"Bullpup" describes a modern firearm configuration in which the action is located behind the trigger group and alongside the shooter's face, so there is no wasted space for the buttstock as in conventional designs. This permits a shorter firearm length for the same barrel length for improved maneuverability, and reduces weight. source: wikipedia
"Let me show you it's features"
Thumb up, so everybody can see, when he started saying this epic catchphrase :)
I always liked arrows. There is something about their length that makes me think they fly more straight.
Hi, I would really like to have instructions on how to make the bullpup crossbow. Have a great day!
I have watched many of these videos now, and I think I am starting to take your strength for granted. You are one mighty man.
There is, seemingly, a never ending flow of brilliant and cleverly executed designs from Joerg, our genial host. Fabulous stuff.
God I love your videos!
Where a lot of UA-cam channels start disappointing after a while, this only gets better and better!
And that knife looks awesome!
I work in a kitchen, and high-quality knives make a huge difference, so a great trade in my opinion!
Keep it up Jorg!
when are you gonna upload tutorial
this is probably one of your best creations i have seen, it's very practical, congratulations Joerg.
:D I have a brilliant idea, you should add recurve limbs! It would give your crossbow a lot additional power plus (assuming you have the right tools) you could make a pair. 1:10 "You don't need a lot of rubber for this..." I use that excuse too when I have my pants down.
I have tested this with Thera Tube Silver, works really good.
Could you show us how to make one? or show each individual part? Thank you.
I think your design is PERFECT! Please keep posting!

Perfectly explained, well done, good to know there are people who know what a true bullpup is. I have trained with the Austeyr and the first thing you learn is the definition of a bullpup.
Being relatively short is the result, not the definition of bullpup design, but actually saying that cause means result is not a mistake.
Idiot a bullpups main purpose WAS TO BE SHORT
yes but that's not how it becomes classified as a bullpup you fuckhead. if you have a short rifle its just a fucking sbr. don't go calling someone an idiot and sound fucking stupid.

Greetings Mr. Jorg. Can I kindly ask you how to make this? -alfonso
The demonstration of the power of the spear crossbow is what I've wanted to know. Thanks for your awesome videos!
plans?
plans, pliz?
Diese Tests habe ich schon vor langer Zeit durchgeführt. Die Reibung ist sehr gering, der Speedloss ist nicht messbar. Die Borsten dürfen den Schaft aber nur sehr leicht berühren.
can you please do tutorial on trigger
Excellent, thats my favourite of your bullpup Xbow designs so far, cant wait to see the blueprints Joerg, and thank you.
please make a tutorial
nyaz hisham its all self explanatory
You are my hero!! People here in the US are VERY upset about the coming vote on the UN arms trade treaty and they think the government will come grab our guns. You are showing us that we can make our own defensive weapons that, while not quite as good as a gun, are still VERY effective.
0:33 It starts... LOL
There is a wooden cheekrest, and of course it has to be over the left side (as I am right handed).
Sir do you actualy beleive we can survive the zombie apocalypse with this low cadency weapons ? True is so many people will turn zombies they will over run us before we load the next shot :)

+JoergSprave yes sir i just hope we all are ready for it.
lol i read the book but they recommend using at long rabge or you will get overrunned you better should carry a katana
R41n R1d3r Guys is it just me or am I missing something ? when I read this sort of thing I think WTF Zombies and you all buy i to it. reality check here, Zombies are fiction as in not real. Lets all join hands and try to contact the living.
Will do the drawing tomorrow. Then the next sign (cancer) comes up for voting. The contest will keep running 10 more months.
that's classed as spear gun/arrow gun not a crossbow
modal master123 Nope.
+JoergSprave sure. There's no bow ^^
+Lukas Eck then why is a slingbow called a slingbow
Errr.... Who the hell cares?
essentially the same thing, except one fires spears, but the other two fire arrows
Sure. Use the search function in my channel vids.
I just realized why I enjoy your demonstrations so much. You have achieved the perfect UA-cam balance - you make cool shit and you have a funny accent! LOL

Outstanding as always Joerg!!!! Excellent design and concept. Can't wait for the blueprints video!!
This is a very decent crossbow for the price. You've made something quite special here!
Very nice! Your designs never fail to impress, Mr. Sprave.
Keep it up Jeorg. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Love the humor. The last one had me rolling on the floor. You brighten my day everytime I watch one of your videos.
Both the toothbrush and the sheath magnet are very clever ideas! Great video!
Joerg, you give off the impression of a big teddy bear. You're big and brawny, and even a bit intimidating, but you're so happy and polite that it's just adorable. Keep on smilin', man :)
This was fun to watch. It is great to know you still have the kid in you!
I have one word for this design....BRILLIANT!
Your channel just gets better every video :)
This is a fantastic design, and I've seen most of your vids and shot all kinds of bows, crossbows, and vertical xbows..... this is probably my favorite.... I'd love to see a sturdier, higher quality, heavier bands (higher velocity) version of this.
Genius. Someone needs to get this guy to make bows slingshots and crossbows for them
Cheaper. Much more compact. Heavier trigger pull when you use really strong draw weights (heavy bands). Shoots full size arrows rather than bolts.
Do you ever turn the audio on?
Cool stuff Joerg, i used to make slings as a boy, and now the 38yr old boy just got re-born...
I don't know, my garden does not allow shots longer than 25 yards. Works fine. AFAIK bow hunters always try to get as close to the game as possible, rarely over 30 yards.

Officially one of the coolest men of youtube.
as usual , you are AMAZING, and by the way, thanks for the idea of the magnet inside the wood sheath. didn't think of that one.
The crossbow is great and I'm really liking the magnet in that sheath
Yes, you simply slip the arrow in from the "muzzle". No big deal.
nice one Joerg, i think that is your best anti zombie weapon yet.its not to big, you can load it pretty fast, and it definatly seems powerful enough. im inspired. im gona try and make one.
Because then it would either have to be mounted on a swinging rail, or be in the way of the string.
Ich finds immer super wie du dich am Ende freust da muss ich auch grinsen:D. Also man merkt wirklich wieviel Spass du daran hast und das ist echt cool.
Wow, you have made some very cool slingshots and crossbows.
Great Design Joerg. Keep up the excellent work.
Hey just wanted to say, I love what you do, your videos are excellent.
Your vids just keep getting better and better!!! Keep up the great work :D
You have inspired me to become a kid again... Thank you!
"He" has a website, slingshotchannel com, that has all of that information. No need for speculations!
I really really enjoy your videos. I'm a big fan and you are the worlds best maker from sling shots to crossbows your awesome iv learnt a lot from you thank you very much god bless
Fantastic as always, great for something under 20 Euros, actually, great overall!
beautifully made bullup crossbow, Joerg! One of my favourites!
HEY I am glad I am not the only one who Thought of a neodymium magnet for knife retention. I have a neck knife and that plus just a wee bit of friction is how I keep the knife from falling out.

Didn't know what to expect when I clicked on this video but I must say, very good job.

really awesome craftsmanship , creativity and engineering!
Love your channel.... Please make a good tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks again for a great channel and keep on bringing them on. You are fantastic!!
Your videos never cease to amaze me, I can't wait to see what you build next! Keep up the good work!
that looks really good and can't wait for the blueprints to make it.
You and FPSRussia could be best friends... One expert with guns, and one expert with lethal homemade weapons
Here in Oklahoma, every hunter around would have to put his hands on it. And the wood sheath, perfect for fishing on the water, it probably floats and if not sinks very slowly.

Joerg, youre one hell of a carpenter. I like that wooden sheath. Can you do a video of your wood shop sometime?

Youve got new follewer buddy! :D I love watching wepons that are crafted at home! :D
great Joerg, you are plenty of ideas, thanks I enjoy yours videos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love you and your videos man still waitin on that buildalong!
The most entertaining channel on youtube. xD
Please do make a tutorial/blueprints. I would really like to try and make one of these it looks like a really fun and inexpensive project.
I always admire people who know how to build things. I would, however, suggest that the laser sight be placed under the bow to make loading of arrows easier.
such an ingenious idea..using a slingshot for a crossbow.
i wish i had thought of this
You are a very good craftsman!

5 stars on design & presentation
This is probably my favorite invention of yours. A tutorial is necessary! haha
That was the coolest homemade crossbow I've seen, I would love to make one but sadly do not have the correct tools required
a true craftsman keep up the good work.
One of your best designs, wish you had published drawings of it.
I follow since more than a year and I love your channel, to which I subscribe
. continues to, please!
I likes guns and munitions
