But I'd like to rephrase, I am with independent journalism or any kind as long as they give importance to journalistic ethos and most importantly they do their journlasim in favour of Citizen.

But what I think is this that government have a set ideology, and is that ideology resembles with what freedom fighters and the Constitutional makers thought of.
The question is not about you can't criticize government all the time. But the real question is, do we have a freedom to ask questions ? If the answer is yes, we'll ask questions on everything whether it is right or worng. Government's job is just to answer and provide services to the Citizen of India, The way Citizen's job is to abide to law and constitution. They can not say you are not praising us for our good work, take it as un-rewarding job, you just have to clear our doubts when government will be transparent in actions and intents people will automatically praise them.
One thing I don't understand with the people like you. Here you are being sympathetic with the government but don't want to encourage these people who are reporting on behalf of you.
Why can't you just say that look it is your (govt) job to answer just answer each and every questions. In a parliamentary democracy it is job of an opposition to ask questions on behalf of Citizen but they are good for nothing.
And therefore I must give my encouragement to these people who have guts to ask some real, really tough and relevant question to the party in power.

So independent journalism is bullshyte ,I dont know who stopped you to ask questions to the current govt. There is a phobia created by the same media that govt is creating a fear amongst people of its country which is utterly disappointing ,Govt wouldn't ask to praise them but it's your duty respect the govt. Recently I saw a picture of a keralite holding communist flag in front of his house criticizing Modi and irony was his house was built under PMAWAS yojana. Yes you may have different point of view in other matters but does that make you not to praise the govt about the current affairs?
