I love Montreal ❤ It’s incredible how the view has changed in one year with all these new buildings!
Montréal from the ground is beautiful.... but from above Montreal is out of this world.... iv been climbing tower cranes on high construction buldings in Montreal..you can't imagine how wonderful the view is!!!
And yes it's illegal. But fun things in life starts when you do something that you are not alowed to do
I love Montreal and I really enjoyed this video on your channel so much! Thank you for being so informative. Fabulous!! I am in Vancouver and happily I get to visit Montreal often, every 4 months or so, to visit a really close cousin and friends. The building with the red glass is very cool! Agreed - I wouldn't want all of Downtown Montreal splashed out in red but this building is really awesome! I like the design a lot! I often comment on how Hertz has this tiny car rental in the city! I expect at some point it will be gone and a new property will be build. But for now it's lovely having this small property in the middle of a big city! It's all spectacular! Love Montreal's bike lanes! I love the vibe of a big Downtown in a city! Have an awesome Sunday! Cheers!! 🙂
Thanks Christine. Happy Sunday to you too!
@@thoughtsontravelandlife You are so welcome!! I am looking forward to enjoying more videos! Your channel is awesome! Happy Halloween!! 🙂
So happy you are back so I can enjoy your videos from my beloved city Montreal ❤ merci pour le partage Dan 😊
Very happy that you are back!
J'adore vrement cette ville,c'est incroyable.Merci de partager tellement de beauté
Really big fan of your work 👍
The red building was really cool. Typically I'm against the glass boxes but it doesn't take much to make them interesting! A color and a few angles!
well done!! beautiful weather.
cheers!
It is about time so many buildings are from the 70s when Montreal had more "glory". All these "shadow" head offices and so much poverty downtown. A pale version of Toronto. On the positive Toronto is now so incredibly expensive so that will benefit Montreal in the long term.
Toronto has no soul and never had.
Up until the 70s Montreal was the most important city in Canada by far. Toronto was pretty much unknown. Now it is the opposite.
@@antonboludo8886starting to be the opposite again, unfortunately for Toronto, fortunately or not for Montreal
Guy...funy just 2 comments and of course just nasty!!!
Actually most buildings in most Montreal neighborhoods are over 100 years old, second most common are from the 1960s, third the 1980s and then the least 15 years. Very little was built in the 1970s, which was actually a very tough time for Montreal. So basically you know nothing.
Really enjoyed this video as someone who grew up but moved away from mtl
Hey Dan. You forgot my building The Livmore on Bleury and Rene Levesque. Always a pleasure to spend time in your video company though. You should make a video of old Montreal and the square beside Palais de Congrais with its beautiful park with fountain and my favorite boulangerie Ange
More then 30 new buildings over 100m were built over the last 10 years with 10 skyscraper over 150m ! 😊
More vídeo about lanquage,because I love all.thanks.
Great video. I used to walk downtown every week…. What cell phone are you using to film?
When you pronounce in french and the word ends with a consonant and the other starts with a vowel you should link them. So place des arts is pronounced “place dezarts”
Good tip to remember, merci :)
This is a good info! I learned this as well! 👍
Looks nice, would love to visit. :)
It certainly has changed a lot recently.
Yes, Square Philipps.
A new 62-story condo building in which I will be moving-in soon! :)
BTW, the boy is really pretty.
It feels so strange to have such a tall building right next to PdA and Complexe Desjardins.
It is huge compared to the immediate surrounding area that's true!
Call it Complex Maetria
Hey! nice vid! what are you filming with?

Jeez I detest skyscrapers. They are ruining Montreal. Dont mind the red one...from the outside.
yes but now nothing else is planed . all today's project where thought before 2018 and after 2018 no major project have been prepared .

Why the roads are so broken?
A mix of harsh winters and construction industry corruption. It's a thing here lol
Yeah and NO money to fix them
I was expecting a bit of social commentary or human condition, but this felt like a regular tourism video. Still enjoyed it anyway, and yes the construction is too much!
Can you elaborate on what you mean by that? I'm always interested in new ideas. Thanks.
Vive le Québec libre
Place-des-Arts litterally Place of the Arts. In french there a thing called a liaison (lee-hey-zon) it's when the s at the end of word merge with the voyels of the following word. in Place-des-Arts. The French pronounciation became Pla-ce-day-zarr. 🐢
C,est une horreur. On appelle ca des cages a poules !
Bad audio……inconsistent.
check your device, no one else seems to have issues
Are we allowed to flourish in English ?????
Any language you like.
You can also flourish in french...
You can get by with only English, but you would be somewhat limited and it would catch you along the way.
Enlève cette casquette.
Tu n'as plus dix ans.
Really? I thought it was the internet trolls who were 10 years old.
