Happy 5.9 day. To all the Cummins lovers out there. Cummins swap the world!!!
Greg A. Buys house with a shop. Still works out in the driveway 🤦♂️
Shop is filled with other projects
Dudes got too much going on! I love it lol
Needs to finish one. He has 9 trucks and only one drives
Obviously.
Because the shop is full with five other trucks that are torn apart 😂🤣
Okay who was wondering when is he ever going to finish one of these trucks! How many trucks are you working on ?
Gary Mayes I have been a sub since like 30k. I was asking the same questions then. Haha.
He finished the dually we got to cut him some slack lol
Alright, who else is wondering when Greg A. is going to get a forklift for his Greg A Diesel Shop?
He needs a 95 horsepower forklift like Westen Champlin
Like the 194K+ subs..... lol
It looks so cool, and a huge applause to Ali for being such an awesome wife and helper. You guys are awesome
“This thing is an absolute gem” … let’s tear it apart! 😂
Super happy I found this channel. I wish I had projects like that lol. This guy seems to love his Cummins like I love my Detroit Diesels
Somebody's been watchin' ol cleeter McFarland. Next up on Greg A "I just bought this unit for a burn out truck at the Freedom Factory!!!!!" I see it coming...
This channel is so underrated. Best diesel content on here.
Glad to hear you working with The Hungry Diesel. Nobody better for first gen cummins stuff.
I’m legitimately excited for Greg to be going home. I miss those days. I hope he rides by the old house and gives us a view. I miss it
Dude your doing exactly what i want to do to my 67 sweptline! Cant wait to see it finished!
It’s awesome how ally comes out and helps you whenever you need! 👍
This D200 looks really cool, an awesome project.
I loving the content, I super happy about getting back to how it use to be lots truck parts and truck work and excitement
A gantry crane even with just a chain fall for picking up bodies would be very beneficial to you.
That beauty fits that wheel base just purrrrrfect. Keep on chugging buddy.
The trans cooler under the bed was a factory option called the "super cooling package" I believe. Not a lot of trucks came with it, and I bet some first gen guys would love to have it. I know I would if I had a stock truck.
Pushing by hand when there's a perfectly good skid steer sitting right there. Come on mang!
Sprinkle powdered Tide Soap on the trans fluid, add some water. Scrub with a push broom, and wash off. That’s how we used to clean the Fuel islands @ Petro!!
Man that truck looks awesome can't wait to see it finished love the vids Greg keep up the great work
Literally did the same thing to my 91.5 today. Except I restabbed the trans. I only did a rear main. I'm excited to see your heat exchanger delete that thing is a pain. And looks like I need to buy a long extension you to get those top bell housing bolts haha. Love the videos man!
hey Greg how have you worked around connecting the new steering box to the old column? im working on a similar project and looking at that as something I have to work through. any guidance is appreciated.
Greg_A: I need to rearrange these trucks
Ali: Move out of my way
LOL Love you guys. And Happy Mother's Day, Ali!
I wanna see the rest of this truck
love your videos man, keep them Cummins
Everyone is saying Greg needs a forklift but he really just needs a good size gantry crane 🏗. Easy to move around and storage is a breeze, also will not break the bank .
Yeah that rear trans cooler is original option, if they was spec’d with the heavy duty tow package.
Hey greg great content I passed your house a few hours ago and just seeing the trucks in first person not inside a phone makes them look a whole lot better.
I have a set of 12000lb plastic ramps (look like yours) .. I have a Dodge dually and the plastic webbing inside the ramps are now bent some and I don't trust using them anymore .. LOL ..
ooooh my. The front axle needs to be more forward as well as the rear. Put them exactly center of the fenders, in my honest opinion, i think the frame height , where it is, and the body(wood lift) is perfect , level the bed and thats the ticket buddy!!!
i have a 2005 quad cab short bed i just restored and i love this project!!
Loving the content! Makes me wish i had the time to build my motor myself but I’m on a time crunch and need to finish my house so i can sell it and move to Vegas.
I would take that D200 to Daytona. That truck is probably going to be my fav!
Bruce Gordon you just don’t see those trucks anywhere
Man i cant wait for that truck to be a runner going to be badass!
Nice deal with the jacks and ramps, looks like you, need a hydraulic lift in that garage or outside on the side of it.
Greg you got the best wife Ever
I was gonna post the same. Let's be real, she's the real MVP!!
I agree, mine would kill me if she walked over to that side of the house if that was mine. lol
You can send some of that rain our way, to the southwest!!!👍🇺🇸
Is a heat exchanger important? I am rebuilding my 24v and mines rusty and ugly and if I dont need it. It's getting yeeted to the scrap pile
I thought you were putting a standard in the club cab first gen
Enjoyed the creepy cam.
Why the dislikes? I don’t get it. 🤦🏻 keep up the good work Greg 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
So jealous lol can’t wait until I get a project 1st gen.
Greg you need a small forklift....awesome...love the old dodge build....
Wheelbase will probably be perfect with some longer control arms
Lookin forward to when you focus more on the 70.
Greg is the type of guy that has 1 shop and a 2 car garage and still works outside
tony tonito my dad has a double deep 1 car, a 3 car that’s heated and a big steel building as well, we still work on a lot of stuff outside if it’s not too hot or cold
Greg is going to have to patent that phrase "Man, oh man, just take a look at that!" He's like a kid with a lollipop
Chris Jones actually Ed Bassmaster came up with that phrase
Dodge dedication bar none!!!
I'd definitely prefer the 70 slammed to the ground and I prefer lifted trucks... never was a fan of the pre 72s lifted. But will be far more usable with the way your building it.
Awesome awesome video Greg A, first gen content coming around the corner lol! Let’s see what ol Greg A has in store for the new First Gen lol.
take a gander at it
Man you should come to Texas and help me fix my 05. Thing started making a racket this week and it’s my only ride 😞
Jolly Green Giant! Yeaaaaaaaa
What happened to the full send diesel truck?
thing looks awesome... still can't decide if I like the extenda first gen or the old four door better
You should build another sled truck
Why was there never more videos posted on about this truck lol 😆
That would be super sweet with interior from say a 2014 or so
How do you do it Greg so many projects your brain must be going none stop
Are you going to do anymore videos on this?
It's a First Gem!
How are you planning on getting the fans radiator intercooler and coolers behind that grill?
Would the crew cab be titled under the VIN as the year based on the body, or would it go by the drive train? I'm curious about how it would work in states which require vehicle inspections which include pollution control. If it's titled as the VIN, there would be no expectations of any pollution control, correct?
I live in Tampa Bay area and I'll see yall at Daytona truck meet brotherrr
Did I hit the like button? Of course I did there was a cummins sweptline in the vidgya
The dodge truck should come with its own transmission jack from the factory
Quinn Mahoney it should also come equipped with a tow strap and tow points on the front only 🤣
Are you going to clean the flakey rust off the inside of the frame rails while the transmission is out?
Where is this truck 10 months later....?
That dure looks awesome
How do you remove the plastic cover on the 6.7 Cummins the part that is straight in line I don't know the exact name for it sorry
The hungry diesel 👍👍👍 I've ordered alot of stuff from them for my first gen.
Kyle F they aren’t the best, I had some pretty huge customer service issues with them before.
@@jasontruman1215 never had an issue.
Kyle F that’s good, I’m not the only one who feels that way. I only had one issue but it was enough to make me never spend money there again. Love the piston lift pump kit though.
@@jasontruman1215 communication with Eric Gilbert is the way to go. I message him alot for anything I'm not knowledgeable about. Always helpful.. Hell he helped me out today lol.
Kyle F he gave me his cell # and was texting me personally. I don’t want to publicly bash him here more than I already have.... my issue was something else. I don’t believe he sells that certain product anymore.
As an eastern Canada native. The underside of that truck makes me sick it’s so clean. I’ve had so many busted knuckles do to just where I live working on old rams.
Steve Maccollum southern Ontario here, and man they look like that for about 3 months after you buy it, 15-20 years later it’s just a ball of brown and missing 😑
You should build that green dodge for sema if it’s still going to happen
That a NAPA trans jack? Been needing to get a good one
Does ally have a truck or will you be building her one
Yo greg whats the offset on the american forces you got and do they rub at all?
Edit*
I'm talking about the 4th gen dually.
Owns 9 trucks. Only 1 is driven on the daily and the other one runs but is finished. Btw what the word of the 2nd gen 24v
Greg, I swear you said this truck was gonna get a 4wd manual trans conversion... why build the auto?
Matt Merchant because manuals are shit been thru three nv4500 myself on my first gen cant beat a built automatic
@@Izzy-qv9df I've got 302k miles on the G56 in my 3rd Gen with no issues, and it did't have to be built. Each to their own, that's why they make both. Although the specific point of the question for Greg was that in an earlier video he said he was going to do a manual trans and 4x4 conversion on this truck, I was questioning why build an auto that is destined to be replaced with a manual.
Matt Merchant look up power driven diesel first gen on here thats my truck you will see why the manuals suck when put under power after 10,000 miles it starts making noise on 5th gear. Biggest mistake i made was putting a manual in it. Will be fixing that wistake soon with a 68rfe
@@Izzy-qv9df I can attest about the nv4500. My buddy went through 3 of them with the bigger input shaft, all cryo treated, and a south bend dual disk at 600hp. He kept destroying gears. Now hes got a comp 3 firepunk 48re and it's been indestructible at 1000hp . This is on an 06 5.9
the body line on that is so hard ob the eyes i keep thinking the bed is falling
Serious question how would you go about registering a build like the body swap truck????
I believe you register it to the body. So you could have a PT cruiser and have 4x4 truck chassis under it and register it as a regular PT. Just don't let them see it lol
I just wondered the same thing about 4 hours later than you did. It would be especially interesting with states that require inspections before being registered, which would include pollution control devices.
PDBNorth12 I was stationed at Fort Campbell Kentucky a few years ago and if nothing have changed they can care less about emissions or anything else I would assume they’d need a Vin and title to register it though and that’s where it would get tricky titling older vehicles can be way or super hard!
@@KinGTeraTino Yeah Wisconsin is the same way, but PA, DE... a bunch of the eastern seaboard states require inspections and emissions tests before they will be legally registered. My 91 didn't have a cat or any other pollution control from the factory, so it's technically exempt from those tests. It's an interesting thought exercise.
This is why you need a skid steer with forks.
Do u have a new video D200
You should just go full sema build on the d200
Isnt that old dodge similar to the one in Christmas Vacation
Greg ill buy the factory intake and turbo from you
I have a 1990 12valve dosent even have surface rust on the gram
Check out JD Joyride channel, he used some type "primer/paint/rust-b-gone" on his old chevy rat rod, may want to use it on the 1st gen frame
What year frame did you put under the D200?
If that’s not a. First gen is it a zero gen?
Nice
I can’t believe people ask how you get the ramps underneath opposite ways 😂🤣🤦♂️
smcox1991 those are the people that shouldn’t be allowed to own tools 🤦🏻♂️
He should've kept it a mystery...
Name for your Extended cab. D Unit !
LOL.... Well it’s called a jack!
probably should twin charge one of them
Do you finish anything...?
Was a gem lol
😂 Allie is a warrior.
Gotta say it looks "Bitching" bad to the bones... Make the gray one 4X4 as well, I feel naked without a lever or at least a button... my thinking is buttons are a convenient way but I like the "man" stick. I do believe that hammer and dolly but just spot primer and patina is good as a look. Some mid size bumpers just cause and a winch up front and a hidden winch behind the bumper in back with some serious d rings on C channel style back bumper... not too much chrome and some american five slots all the way round on smaller tires like thirty five by seven front and tens on front as they do drive better slightly narrower. They cut the road instead of float the road... engine brakes on both and this is one completely out of the normal wheel house, drive shaft emergency brakes.... looks like we stay put when pulled. Largest joints without ridiculous look.
Just one bump just one...
She’s a beaut Clark!
