The Kehlsteinhaus also known as the Eagle's Nest was built by Martin Bormann as a gift for Adolf Hitler to mark his 50th birthday.
The Kehlsteinhaus - has been retained in its original form and is among the most popular destinations for trips in Germany, especially for history buffs and tourists alike.
Constructed atop a rocky outcrop that rises 1835 metres above sea level, it is now basically a restaurant.
